This pharmacy exists in a different reality than the rest of the world. I came to pick up a prescription after calling the pharmacy to make sure it was ready. Upon arrival, I was told they didn't even have it in stock. On another occasion, I came to pick up a prescription at 11am only to be told the pharmacist comes in at 1:30pm and they can't dispense the drug without him despite the pharmacy opening at 9am. I'm now waiting for the pharmacist again at 5:45pm on Friday because she's on a lunch break and they can't dispense the drug without her approval. In my original review regarding this matter I had left a 1 out of 5 stars for the problem & experience I had while in the store... I then changed the rating to a 3 out of 5 star simply because the manager did resolve the matter professionally and with ease but it does not resolve the treatment I received by the employee therefore I left a 3 out of 5 stars. I appreciate all the manager did to resolve the matter. While in the store today on a completely separate unrelated issue again the manager reached out and help me resolve the small issue that I had with the pricing on a receipt and was taken care of within a minute so therefore I am completely changing the star review to a 5 out of 5 simply because the employee is no longer working at the store and the manager did again go above and beyond each and every time to make sure that it was taken care of. Basic items like deodorant are locked up and inaccessible, if you can find a store associate they take the item you want from under lock and key requiring you meet them up front. Asked the associated what's up with this and he says people are stealing everything. The security is being paged non stop over the loudspeaker to check cameras, lock doors, get to the entrance immediately. WTF is going on? Hire some detail officers. read more

Went for a vaccine and the seating area was filled with discarded wound care items. The pharmacist that attended me was rude, unprofessional, and treated other pharmacy patrons with a less then kind attitude. She spoke down to me and insisted I sat in a chair that someone else occupied and when I tried to go get another chair she once again spoke down to me and said I needed to sit in that specific chair. My experience was unpleasant to say the least and I will not be going back for any reason. An establishment that provides medicine and medical care (to some degree) should not only be kept clean and sanitary but also have professional individuals caring for patrons who seek their aid/services. I would give this place negative stars if I could. Both the pharmacy and the regular part of the store are AWFUL! They don't have enough people working EVER. The pharmacy is staffed with incompetent and rude individuals. They NEVER answer their phone. EVER! I waited on the phone for over 20 minutes today and no one ever came to the phone and that was one of the shorter amounts of time I've waited on the phone for them. I finally had to go there because they wouldn't answer. I was expecting to see a line and there was none! The pharmacist was a nasty, whiny bitch (pardon my swearing, but there really isn't another word to describe her) named Rachael. It was the clerical worker that was actually filling the prescriptions. She called for the store manager and then started actually crying to the manager about the pharmacist. It was ridiculous!!!!! CVS calls and texts me starting incredibly early in the morning to tell me my medication is ready to be picked up, but then I get there and nothing is ready. This is literally the WORST pharmacy I have ever been to! I've continued to go here because it's so close to my house, but I just can't anymore. It's too disorganized with incompetent people working there. The rest of the store isn't much better. And the parking is horrible! Pharmacist is one of the most unprofessional operations around. She's incredibly rude, doesn't take calls from doctors, and constantly loses prescriptions. This has been a constant problem and every time we are there we see others go through the same issues. Another scumbag CVS store which has decided that it's their place to make life and death decisions about YOUR healthcare. Even though they are not doctors or medical experts. I left a similar review for another nearby location because they did the same exact thing to me. It's apparently a serious problem within CVS management because it seems to happen a lot. And I know it's not just me. So here's what they did: I am a diabetic. I need insulin and insulin needles to not die. Sometimes I end up having to use more medication than I ordinarily would. It's as easy as simply eating the wrong thing on accident a couple of times. So what happened was I used up all my needles early but had to wait on a new prescription. That shouldn't be a problem though because insulin needles are over the counter and do not require prescription. Here's the problem. This CVS FLAT OUT refused to sell me my insulin needles. I informed them that my blood sugar was high and I really needed them and they literally did not care in the slightest. Die in the streets was their attitude. Nice. Real nice. Great job CVS. Way to be a bunch of clowns and scumbags. I hope you guys at this location (and the other location) who refused me my needles, end up with diabetes some day. So that maybe you can know what it's like to be in medical need, and have some loser who couldn't hack it as a real doctor, decide to play doctor for the day and make medical decisions for you, with no knowledge whatsoever of the specifics of your disease. Went to the shopping center while calling the pharmacy to confirm my refill would be ready when I arrived. Tried 8X - phone system is impossible - can't get a human being - finally on hold for pharmacy. After wandering aimlessly while trying to get thru to a human being I just show up while still on hold after 1/2 hour and still no human being has answered. Tech glances up at me, turns around, walks away and shouts to co-workers "I'm leaving" explaining she'll be back in 15 after her break. Another pharmacist comes saying it will be 20 minutes. Meanwhile I point out I've supposedly been on hold with the pharmacy for 1/2 hour and they have NO CALL on hold. I leave as I've already been wandering around aimlessly for 1 hour. Come back 2 days later and they say the refill wasn't completed. HUH?! 48 hours later and a 20 minute refill it still NOT completed!!?? HOW?? No way to call as phone system is a nightmare and if/when you finally press 0 enough to get to a 'pharmacy hold' no one ever answers. Total nightmare. read more

I've been using this CVS for a few months and usually really appreciate the customer service. Today, I called the pharmacy to transfer a prescription to another CVS location after being told by the other pharmacy you need to contact the original pharmacy with that request. When I called and was refused service, I asked to speak to a manager to find out how to resolve the issue. The man who I was speaking hung up on me. I'm currently seated in the hospital trying to get a needed prescription and this CVS employee thought it was appropriate to not only refuse to help but to be disrespectful and rude in the process. If this is the service standard CVS is now working with, it might be time for me to move my business elsewhere. read more

Then I got to check out and only was cashier was available which is okay because there's self check out but the lady that was working there has the worst attitude I've encountered at a CVS. CVS pharmacies its a rip off. I Just check a price on Lexapro generic for 30, they charge $72 while Costco charge $12.88 and Ralph $42, of course Walgreen is worse they asked for $120. My neurologist tip me that call Ralph and they price match with Costco i did and they accept to price match. On top of their supersaturated price, this very store have an arrogant and unfriendly pharmacist an Asian male i believe his name is James, he couldn't read a Gabapentin prescription, and I told him "what kind of pharmacist cant read doctor's handwriting?" and he didn't like it and said "You have to go somewhere else." So I can honestly say that this is the worst cvs I've ever been to. There wasn't any parking, so I had to park along the street at a meter. I went inside to purchase distilled water, but they didn't have any on their shelves. I asked for one for the shift supervisors to check in the back for me. This is one of the most high profile, busiest, and largest CVS drug stores. I had a question for pharmacy staff, and 3 people came over to answer my question without me asking, and all gave input and were very helpful and considerate. Asked an employee where something was, and she walked me over to it. I have been here many times before and would return again. Parking is free and easy right in front of the store. It's a 24 store, but the Pharmacy is not open 24 hours and is closed overnight. read more

I'm super disappointed in this pharmacy. I had spent over 7 hours at the Cedars Sinai ER and walked over to this pharmacy to get a prescription filled (I had a very bad infection in my eye so I couldn't drive). Got here 15 minutes before the pharmacy closed and the pharmacist guy would not fill my prescription same night. I understand him wanting to go home but I was in a really bad place and I really needed these drops so my eye wouldn't be swollen shut. I'm not the person that goes last minute to any business but I also didn't see myself spending most of my day in an ER waiting room or not having the ability to drive. There was no sympathy and I can't imagine why you'd be a pharmacist if you don't want to help people. So then I Uber to my Rite Aid by my house that's open an hour later and they filled my prescription in less than 10 minutes and were happy to help. This is the most convenient store for me, both in terms of location and opening hours, yet I try to avoid it as much as possible. It's a beautiful store, bright and new, but the employees have to be the worst of any CVS I visited. The only helpful one is the young guy with glasses, everyone else just has the worst attitude and poor knowledge, management included. Virginia and Hussein have zero customer service skills, can never seem to address even the most simple concern or question.
