Alan Schwab is the pharmacy located in the medical building that houses Judi's Deli. They've been here for years but I've never used them. I walked into Alan Schwab to inquire about transferring a prescription. The Pharm Tech told me they do not take my insurance as they are mainly a compounding pharmacy. Good to know! She did suggest another pharmacy that takes my insurance and showed me how to get there. She was so lovely and caring. If I ever need a compounded prescription (which insurance doesn't typically cover), I will come back here. Highly suggest. read more

Very grateful for this pharmacy. I have 3 compounded medications and insurance companies typically don't cover compounded meds. It can get incredibly expensive on top of my already very expensive health care costs. My allergist told me about these guys being a much more affordable option for one of my medications. I had a great first experience with them- it was affordable and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I then had my other 2 compounded medications transferred over and needed to get larger supplies for an upcoming trip. I spoke to the pharmacist who happens to be the owner, she took the time to help me figure out how to make it so I could afford these much needed medications during my time away. She also weighed in on my rare medical conditions and mentioned a medication to ask my doctor about that has worked great for her other patients. Very grateful to have found such a skilled and compassionate pharmacy, helping folks like me afford the very important (and even lifesaving) care that we may not be able to otherwise. Fraudulent prices clarification from Alan Schwab Pharmacy. Today, physician office who sent the prescription said price was $10.00 less than quoted for the presciption two days ago by the Alan Schwab Pharmacy. Two days ago, Alan Schwab Pharmacy said price was $10.00 MORE and then added on $20.00 for delivery, when 2 days ago Alan Schwab said delivery price was $15.00.They are not to be trusted. read more

Was send here by my doctor in the same building for a cream. Upon checking out, the pharmacist told me the cream was $65. I mentioned i had insurance, which she said they do not take. I told her I would then go to CVS instead, She said hold on , let me call the owner and see if he can lower the price. She came back and said $45. I told her fine, as it was convenient and i was there already. Come to find out it it generic for lotriman, which is available over the counter for $8.99. Felt totally ripped off! And never going back to that Doctor. I think he is in on a piece of the business... read more

i LOVE alan schwab pharmacy. the folks there are like family. so kind, full of good advice, and they always have what i need. when my insurance changed they gave me the forms to send to my new insurance to make sure i got refunded for my prescriptions. even though i live on the eastside, i will happily make a trip into the craziness that is beverly hills for all my pharmacy needs. i can't recommend them highly enough. hurrah! read more
