AVOID this store. I figure CVS corporate does not read reviews (or care) about their business. The staff here is the worst, from the floor manager to the cashiers. The prices are ridiculosly high on most everything. Must be the liquor that keeps this place open. read more

I can't even put into words how terrible, inconsiderate and rude the people working at this pharmacy are. I brought in a prescription on Friday morning, and they told me it would be a long wait, so I decided to go back that night. They told me it was out of stock and would be back in on Monday. On Monday they tell me it was still out of stock and would be in on Tuesday. So I go back on Wednesday and still nothing. Since it was already the forth time I went there and was visibly pissed, they had some technician help me that was rude to say the least. She said she was looking for my prescription in another pharmacy nearby, and finally told me they had it in Carson. She made an annoyed face when I asked her if it was far, and an even more annoyed face when I checked my phone and it said it would take me 40 minutes to get there and said I wasn't going to go. She then told ME to try calling Walgreens or something, and if they ended up having it I would have to tell them to have the prescription transferred. Since this whole thing was getting too complicated, I contacted my physician. My physician called the CVS in the target five minutes from this pharmacy and they said they had plenty of my pills. No one in this pharmacy knows how to do their job. read more

While the location is convenient the service is poor. The pharmacy staff doesn't seem to be aware of broader store promotional policies and offers and the process and time for refilling an on-file prescription is extremely inefficient. Next time, I'll go to Walgreens. read more

They manage to fill ordinary prescriptions but have trouble with anything out of the ordinary or requiring Medicare B involvement. It seems to require multiple tries to get diabetes test strips filled under Part B. The pharmacy staff doesn't let you know what is happening or if the prescription is making progress. You are just supposed to guess and call when you get tired of waiting for sonething to happen, or pay full price with no medicare supplement. This has happend to me multiple times now and I am planning on switching to another pharmacy. They either need new, more enlightened procedures or new management. Since there seem to be a number of negative reviews, i assume that it is one or the other. read more

Okay I usually wouldn't write a review about a pharmacy and even though I did not end up purchasing anything here I want to commend them on their customer service. I walked into the store looking for a particular item and the associate working at the cosmetics counter not only asked me if I needed assistance but also walked around the store with me trying to find the item. She actually went so far as to check with somebody in the pharamacy to see if they still sold it as well as to suggest a medical supply store to check with. In this age where so many chain stores employ people that do not care and simply say "I don't know" this was a welcomed experience. read more

Your app sucks and your follow through on letting customers know their prescription is not ready is just as bad. I'm back here for the second time in two days trying to pick up my prescription. Today I'm told my prescription is being expedited and yet you have me waiting around for 30 minutes for it. This is yet another reason to switch to mail order pharmacy. read more

I went in for a monthly refill of a prescription that is always $0 after manuacturer's rebate. This month they said "that will be $1,600". I said no. They said "check your insurance," which I did. Insurance is fine. I went down the street to another cvs, who quickly determined that my manufacturer's rebate had somehow been removed from cvs records, and they promptly refilled prescription at $0. I went back to this cvs to explain to them, and got nothing but attitude. I asked if their system now shows the rebate. "I think so," she said. "So will it go back to $0 next month?" I asked. "I can't predict the future." Damn. read more

Called the pharmacy hotline to ask a question about drug side effects, since I was prescribed medication that belonged to the same class of pills that I had taken before (which gave me a bad pressure headache). The pharmacist told me that what I had felt wasn't a symptom, was incredibly condescending, and hung up on me. Reading through other reviews and seeing that other people have been hung up on is astounding, and frankly terrible customer service. read more

I Love this CVS! Pharmacy wise, they are on their A game. We have had complications with insurance etc. and they have always figured it out. My husband and I fill our prescriptions here and the pharmacist always go out of their way to say hello to us. The pharmacist are super friendly and personal even with their crazy stack of prescriptions to fill. Pharmacist Annie always makes it a point to say hello to us even when she is not the one helping us. She is always so happy, positive and is working her butt off! The pharmacy assistants are also super friendly and personable as well! I believe in a company earning ones business and they definitely have gone above and beyond for us. Terrible Minute clinic. Up to 4 hour wait. Also, lady that works there although friendly doesn't really tell you much. Great when you do a TB test and she doesn't tell you that you have to come back within 72 hours, otherwise you have to re-do it. Even better when you go there a week later and it's a 4 hour wait, just to be told that. read more

This store is the best of all the CVS. Neat and clean, everything is well arrange and the customer service is exceptional. Just one man speaks for the whole store on what kind of people are working in there. "Alfred" or "Alfredo" was really a nice guy. Very accomodating, polite and respectful. He help me find some of the things that i am looking for and even asked me if i needed more help. He's a really nice kid with a cheerful attitude. He is an asset to this company. The more you shop, the more discount coupons you get! So I'm forced to keep returning ! Staff here is helpful & friendly. I made a Kodak photo souvenir album & had trouble with the machine. Betty was super nice, knowledgeable & helped me navigate thru the prompts. Great positive attitude and was determined to get the job completed even though the machine instrux were not the greatest. We figured it out & after 40 mins, we did it! I appreciated that level of wonderful customer service. read more

I don't even know where to begin. It is very sad and unfortunate that this pharmacy is so unprofessional and inconsiderate. If this were a sandwich shop or a small business, ok I get it, some workers just don't care. But this is a big box pharmacy. Dealing with important, sometimes life or death, medications with such a negligent, lackadaisical approach is frightening. I consistently get voicemails saying my prescriptions are ready only to find out they are not. I consistently have a week in between prescriptions with no medicine, even though I call and prep them well in advance. The most troublesome is that the pharmacist does not seem to mind that people regularly miss days taking their medicine. Very dangerous, very wreck less. Even when I showed my concern that the side effect of missing days is SEIZURE, they did not seem to mind or change any practices. Yesterday (which led me to write this) an employee lied and blamed my Dr for something to cover for herself, and then when I brought evidence that they were wrong, not my Dr, I was essentially told "oh well, what are you gonna do". I thought I was just being an a-hole until i read other reviews. I do blame myself for continuing to go here, I have no clue why. But no more! If I can help just one person not make my mistake... this will all be worth it. read more

Rude and staff is short with me on the phone. They definitely do not go out of their way to be pleasant. I dread having to go to this pharmacy. Though luckily I don't have to anymore because of mail order prescriptions. I will go out of my to go to any other pharmacy in the future because the staff here makes my blood boil. read more

This pharmacy counter is the busiest and worst in town. Go to rosecrans or target. I have had multiple RXs called in here, confirmed by my doctor (who gets annoyed when i call to confirm) only to find out that CVS claims not to have them, nor have any messages or faxes from them. It is so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I willl never use this pharmacy again. only redeeming quality here is the self checkout for other non pharmacy items. read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy service I have ever experienced. After waiting in the pick up line for 15 mins, I was told they made an error processing my prescription and now needed to go wait in a different long line in order to get it resolved. I asked if there was any way to resolve the issue without me having to wait in another line. I was told no and that I basically needed to get out of the way so they could help the next person in line. The quality of this CVS' customer service and competency is embarrassing. I would recommend anyone in South Bay looking for pharmacy service go to the Walgreen's on PCH just south of marine. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This is 2014 CVS..... Price match your website! I found out you will not price match after I got a few things. If you want me to buy something on the web I will and I will buy it elsewhere cheaper. Instead you will not price match in the store and I will now take my business next door to Ralphs or 1 block away to Walgreens. What a terrible business model. read more

This place sucks, on multiple levels. The pharmacy is chronically crowded, always a line of people waiting for their prescriptions, and never enough help. Yet, they have an official 'greeter' who politely welcomes you at the door and asks if they can help you. Yes, if you'd like to help me you could climb behind the counter and open up another register and actually make yourself useful! Instead, I get the re-assuring 'we'll be right with you' from the pharmacy clerk behind the counter. No, you won't be 'right with me.' Not until you've taken care of the eight people in the line in front of me, some who appear to have drifted into a zombie-like trance they've been waiting so long. Seriously, I have walked out of this place (actually, hobbled) in frustration after waiting in the pharmacy line so long my legs became numb and went to sleep. I've sworn I'd never come back, but my mother stubbornly refuses to transfer her prescriptions to Walgreens. That's going to change. I am done with this place. I honestly can't understand why people accept and tolerate such horrible customer service when there are much better options in the same neighborhood. read more
