I love having a 24-hour CVS so close to home! I guess it's a good thing that I don't often need things in the middle of the night or at obscure hours... but when I have before, this has been nice. And convenient! They have a great selection of cosmetics (which isn't what I come here for) -- but just something to keep in mind. I've also gone to the MinuteClinic here -- I went recently for my flu shot and was in and out in less than 12 minutes. Yay! Great store in the heart of Mission Viejo. 2018: 78/100 read more

Rasha is the only bright spot here. Vivian is quite rude. The staff and the pharmacist have made several mistakes with my prescription, which is fine. Nobody is perfect. However, it seems like the right thing to do would be to acknowledge one's mistake and attempt to improve the situation. Unfortunately, that bit of common sense seems to evade Vivian. I received a hilariously reluctant half-assed apology but only after I was treated like an idiot and was forced to call her out on the mistake in a way that was indisputable, yet also uncomfortable. Vivian didn't even have the common sense to look me in the eye and apologize. In fact, she was busy on her computer during the entirety of our interaction. Very unprofessional and impersonal. Seriously made me feel like she either hated her job or has no emotional intelligence. I am not sure why this person has a customer facing position at a pharmacy. I won't be coming back. I never even thought about reading the reviews until today and now that I have, there are so many that resonate. Do yourself a favor and find any other pharmacy. read more

Constantly the worst customer service I have ever seen in a CVS. This is the closest CVS to my home but I try to stay away from this one. The manager on duty is quite rude and does not realize the situations when presented and questioned. Go to another one if possible. My wife, on separate visits, ha a received the same static from the manager whenever there. She will not go back to CVS again because of the issues at THIS Location. read more

Last week I got in line at the pharmacy, behind 12 people. I was preparing mentally to be in that line for 25 -30 minutes. I was in my car prescription in hand in less than 10 minutes. The pharmacy has been bombarded with additional customers due to Walgreens closing and the staff at CVS is stepping up and doing great! read more

Worst pharmacy, staff is completely unhelpful and not interested in making the process of getting your medication any easier. They are so fast to transfer your medication to a different location instead of problem solving. Don't get your medication sent here! read more

The pharmacy wait times are horrible and they are always understaffed. 16 inline right now wow. They also keep messing up one of my prescriptions so I have to repeatedly call them, wait on hold and still the problem keeps happening. Saddest part is there are few other pharmacies close. read more

If there is as a minus one star I'd give this place one. Today the Pharmacist told me that I wasn't born on MY birthday and that I didn't have drug coverage insurance. After two visits, and being told I didn't exist in their system, and waiting almost an hour in lIne over two days, I was compelled to provide my drivers license and drug insurance card (that of which all of my prescriptions in the past had worked flawlessly) in order to obtain the prescription. Their customer service girl named Jean was top shelf and she certainly does not deserve to be working for such impersonal and non professional people... read more

My Doctor called in and 44 min later I arrived at CVS Mission Viejo on Margarita park way. I was told they did not receive the prescription I had my Doctor call back and then they said it didn't qualify for insurance they dumped it !!! I call an said I would pay the price of the drug and hours latter not filled. What is CVS think of these Yelp reports. I am dumping my CVS stock !!! this pharmacy is a joke. they don't know how to do jack shit. the line is over 10 people long and they have ONE person checking people out. they have no clue what's going on with your insurance, prescriptions, anything. i spent 30 minutes in there for prescriptions that were already ready!! Total Goat Fuck, These guys will send you 400 texts and phone calls a day to let you know your prescription is ready... even though it isn't half the time... Shitty service every time, every dammed time... Never answer the phone, rude and always pull the "We are really busy" line.. Well, Fuck you, you are always this busy, hire another person... Called and called and called, Hold for 15 minutes, hung up on, and again and again... finally got tired of being on hold, wife went down to pick up this missing scrip, they told us they don't have the scrip (the one that had allegedly been filled) and then gave her the wrong drug... Would not recommend this pharmacy, stood in line for help from pharmacist, as soon as my turn came up, he walked away without even acknowledging us, over 5 employees seeing that we have been waiting do nothing in the back. Rude service, will not be using this location in the future. read more

When you're fighting an asthma attack it becomes life and death - trying to avoid ER FEES that cost $1,000 just to breathe and getting an alert your script is ready is a wave of relief until you find it's not when you get there. How can you not regulate the most urgent of all scripts is unbelievable. read more

This rating is for the pharmacy. I went there to get a booster shot and y he person helping me at the window was coughing excessively. She asked me to move closer to her saying it wasn't due to COVID, but that she has asthma. I declined to move closer and she got upset with me. She said she was not going to give me the shot (which I was relieved about) and said I had to wait until someone else was available. They made me wait for 30 minutes and I believe this was on purpose. Usually I am in and out of there. The lady who gave me the shot was nice though. Just the lady at the window was rude. She said other things as well that didn't make any sense, like it was my fault she was coughing. Go figure. Won't be going back to that pharmacy because of her. read more

This place sucks. I tried to give them grace the first 5 times they messed up my prescription, couldn't find something, and were rude. This time I'm just done and switching back to Costco pharmacy which I've never had a problem with. Just avoid this pharmacy trust me they're the worst. read more

I reviewing this CVS because I'm in pain. I highly recommend getting your vaccines somewhere else. The associate who gave me my vaccination either was too high or too deep on my arm and now I have a bad case of bursitis. This was my booster shot and I had no issues with the first two. I'm going back to a doctor's office next time. read more

This CVS is the one closest to my house, so I've had to run here on several occasions when a family member needs a medicine late a night. I've never used the pharmacy. The employees here have always been nice and helpful, especially when i was looking for a product and had issues with my CarePass. The one lady who works at night (short blonde curly hair, I forget her name) is always very friendly and seems to care about her job and helping customers. read more

The store has gone through a bit of a facelift so that's nice. I've also only been here late at night for cold medication and the like so lucky for me it has always been practically empty. However, I've seen the foot traffic going in and out during the day and it looks like this place fills up during regular business hours. read more

I've never had a problem with this place! Advice: Recommend trying their online system because they text you pickups and when things are ready and how long your medicine is on hold for. read more

Update - 1/15/19: Still the same problems. My doctor called in my prescription yesterday and confirmed with me that it was sent, but CVS had no record of receiving it. I had to call my doctor to have it resent, who offered to call the pharmacy directly and fill it over the phone. My doctor was on hold for over a half hour and requested I confirm with the pharmacy that they received my prescription. The pharmacist said it's going to take two and a half hours to fill??? What kind of pharmacy takes that long to process a medication? read more

I had gone to pick up a prescription that was suppose to be ready after the weekend, when I went to get it the associate said they didn't receive it, I had gotten a text earlier that day informing me that it was ready to be picked up. I had to call my doctors office the next day & they called to confirm that it went through & they said I should have been able to pick it up with no issues. They had apparently spoken to someone who know what they were doing, Henry, & he said he didn't understand why the associate from the night I went wasn't able to figure it out. When I finally went in they acted as if nothing was wrong the whole time & made it seem like I was unable to get my prescription because it "wasn't ready" which was not the case. I'm just glad I was finally able to get what I needed. read more

Big thanks to Abby in the pharmacy department for taking the time to actually help me. I had been trying to get my daughters medication for several days and each time I called to see if the medication was ready they said that I needed to contact her doctor because it needed insurance approval. I ended up going back and forth with the doctors office and the pharmacy for almost a week. Abby noticed that we had already been getting the same prescription and was able to get the medication to go through. read more

I am surprised they didn't have this store listed. It's been around for a while. I just went here at night and I guess they are doing MAJOR re-modeling. I was maneuvering my way about the chaos, fearing for my life. They don't seem to be very careful. The fixtures almost hit my Mom! So here is the breakdown of their service level. They are 24 hours, which is awesome! Their pharmacy is also 24 hours, which is great for those that need it at night just in case. The competency... hmmm I asked the pharmacist or person behind the counter and she was nice about it.. came out to help me look for a product... we searched but she didn't know where it would be or if they had it... eventually I looked closer and I found it myself. She wasn't of much help or knowledgeable. I will give her points for helping but I don't know if I would trust the person behind the counter now...hmmm. For the photo dept... the woman who works there is impatient and a little b!t@hy. Makes me not want to pick up photos there again and she is only there until 3pm??? WTF? No thanks. The people who check you out varies, but most of the time they are nice... except they talk to their co-workers a bit too much while you are waiting for them to finish so you can purchase your crap and leave! =P read more

WOW! the Persian pharmacist is so rude!! I don't remember her name? i called in a prescription on there voice mail system and forgot to spell out the name, so she called me back to "complain" that's what she told me, she said i don't know how to speck well and mumble my words and was annoyed that she had to call me back! ... i thought that was so rude of her. I work with patients on a daily basis and get voice mails all the time that I cant understand but I would never call them back to yell at them because I couldn't understand them. horrible customer service.
