This CVS is pretty big, relatively clean and has all the items we usually find in CVS. The pharmacy is all the way to the back of the store. Most items are behind locked shelves. At times have to wait for a while for an associate to come over and take the item out. Over the years I have bought cards, small toiletries, snacks from this store. Never had any problem with quality. But they don't have self checkout here. Most of the time I see long lines for checkout. 2-3 associates always work at register to keep the line moving. read more

I'm not gonna lie to you, I'm giving this CVS 5 stars purely because they are the only store in like a 20 block radius that still sells tights at any point of the year. I'm not talking cheap fall apart nylons. We're talking the thick winter tights that will last at least 2 weeks as opposed to 2 days. And also let's not get confused. They're not leggings. One store clerk pointed to literally pants and I'm like those are not tights for the love of god. I literally tried every store I could think of before coming here: Old Navy, Burlington, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, every Duane Reade/Walgreens I came across, 5Below, Target. You name it, they don't sell friggin tights. Are we really living in a world now where I have to buy everything and I mean everything online? Because I'm not that type of gal. Anyway, they have a bigger makeup selection than some other drug stores. CVS is hooked up. I applaud them. CVS Pharmacy is a reliable operation, close to our apartment. The prices often surprise us, but I can't totally blame them for that.

We dropped by to pick up drinking water and Diet Coke for our stay in Manhattan. Prices were high, which was expected. But the Mrs had coupons to cut the cost. Employees were friendly and helpful. We will try the grocery across the street to see if it is cheaper with our next refill of water and Diet Coke. read more

This pharmacy should be reported for the most unprofessional incompetent lack of service. My son has asthma. His prescription for Flovent was sent by his pulmonologist on September 26th. Same day I received a text message that the pharmacy had received the request. I never received a text saying they filled the prescription. I called the pharmacy multiple times that day and they never picked up my call. It is now October 13 and the pharmacy didn't pick up my call nor fill my prescription. I called the front of the store and asked for the store manager. I was transferred and put on hold 10 different times for over 1 hour. The store manager never comes to the phone. This place needs to be shut down. It is not a real pharmacy. We are still in need of the asthma medicine. read more

This is quite possibly the worst CVS I've ever been to. It's difficult to flag someone down to open up a product case or help you fulfill a prescription refill, which isn't the fault of the store as they're severely understaffed. But the pharmacy is just god awful. Nothing is ever in stock, and when I ask them to order my meds, they end up forgetting to. I went to this CVS to pick up some free COVID tests (8 per month with insurance). Very busy pharmacy, but they processed all the transactions quickly and efficiently so the wait wasn't as long as I was expecting. They do completely close the pharmacy during their lunch break, so make sure to avoid those times if you need to pick something up. read more

This pharmacy needs a change in management. I came in person to make an appointment for my flu shot as suggested by the pharmacy lady since they did not take walk-ins that day. Got my confirmation right there sent to me by text. Showed up at my appointment time, they couldn't find me when I checked in (in person). After verifying my information, and double confirming whether they could indeed find me and my appointment in their system, my question was ignored and I was told by this lady in charge of the pharmacy to take a seat. After 30m wait, I checked in again and was told I wasn't in their system and this same lady was literally screaming at me in front of the entire pharmacy while I was trying to understand why no one told me when I checked in that I wouldn't receive my shot at the original appointment time, but instead told to take a seat instead. She kept yelling at me while fake apologizing for my inconvenience. While I understand there might have been technology glitch with any scheduling system, the way I was treated (not just today, but it seems to be on a consistent basis, whether picking up a medication or making an appointment) is indicative of the lack of proper management or training in a customer facing role. In a world where one can order anything including meds online, this CVS will be obsolete if it doesn't get its shit together soon. read more

** PHARMACY ASSISTANT NEEDS A PRESCRIPTION FOR MANNERS ** I've been coming to this CVS pharmacy for years and always had an okay experience. The past few months there is a new person working behind the desk and he was so incredibly obnoxious to me two months in a row that I have started picking up my prescription at another CVS. I called CVS customer service and asked for someone to phone me back, but no one ever did. I can't imagine this guy speaks to men the way he speaks to women and it's gross. This is 2020. Recent visit for a pharmacy item of Ensure, a nutrition drink, which are somewhat well stocked. There is only one human cashier and four self-serve electronic checkout counters. Aisles are spacious and well organized and this CVS location contains a mini grocery frozen foods section for the microwave dinner junkie- aka non-cook. read more

It's clean and bright, it's open 24 hours/day - and best of all (when I was there this evening), it had one of the sweetest cashiers I've ever encountered. I want to like this CVS. Here's the problem. Here's me with a chronic medical condition, bringing in a new Rx. Here's the pharmacy: "oh, we don't have that prescription, so we have to order it. But we'll get it by tomorrow. Come in after noon and it will be here." Here's me coming in after noon. No Rx. Here's them: "oh, well your doctor said it was caplets and we can only find tablets, so..." Me: can you call my doctor then? Them: "uh oh, your doctor seems to be closed for the day. But we'll have this sorted out for sure by TOMORROW after noon." Guess what. They didn't. Not the next day. Or the day after. Or the day after. Hello, pretty sure my doctor wanted me to TAKE the medication, not think about it for a week or so while CVS made excuses about... who even knows? Really? WHO KNOWS?! Just tell me YOU DON'T CARRY IT so I can GO TO ANOTHER PHARMACY. Hey, guess what else. This has happened repeatedly. With several prescriptions. Hahaha not funny. So, let me be clear, you guys? YOU'RE FUCKING UP MY PRESCRIPTION SCHEDULE. I know it's not your fault you don't have certain things in stock, but when I need something to not get a brutal migraine or be hospitalized for complications from Crohn's disease, I'm reeeeeeeeeally relying on you here, and you're being the stupidest bureaucrats ever. So I live about a block away and usually come in here early mornings during my dog walks to grab a few things and I'm always "followed" by associates who work here. I hate that I have to state this but I'm a young black man living in Chelsea so I guess I don't fit the aesthetic here. With my altercation today with them, I was on the phone with my mother who was directing me how to treat my sprained toe and there literally was an associate who pretended like she was working and watched me from the next isle over. As I'm finally getting my stuff together, I go to the front to ask for help on where the neosporin was and I'm directed to where it's at and I start to bring me things to the front only to be met by two police officers starring at me. I ask them is there a problem and they said no, they were called to the store because someone was stealing... there were only two customers in the store including myself and the other was checking out at the register. The cop then asks the same associate who was following me (she's a manager), where the culprit was. She looked at me ready to check out at the counter, put her head down and told the police that the person left. If you're young black and wanna be stereotyped and labeled as a criminal, come to the 25th st CVS!!! read more

WARNING: Do not ever come here to use the pharmacy. They are utterly useless and incompetent here. Too many times I'd drop off a prescription here only to be told after I come to pick it up hours later that they have to order it. They're very disorganized at the pharmacy too. You're being helped one second at the pickup window only to be left standing while they go help some random person not waiting their turn. Totally incompetent service. The worst. This location has clean, open space that is well lite and well stocked. Lanes are much wider and you can actually push a cart, in both directions. Has mini grocery area to get your stables and frozen meals towards the back of the store. Plenty of self-check out stations available and it moves quick. Seasonal items are at the front of the store and they do a good job moving the items. read more

This is the best CVS Pharmacy I've ever used - and this is after being a CVS customer in multiple cities I've lived in on both coasts. FIrst, there's barely ever a line. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Literally, everyone is cool. They feel more like a local pharmacy than a chain. They are always happy to help - whether that's calling up your doctor for the medication or patiently providing instructions for medications. It's just managed well and I wanted to give them credit for it! read more

Pharmacy incompetent. I requested refills by phone on a voice message machine, which allows you to choose a time for pick-up. More than 2 occasions occurred when it was not ready by that time. I had gone out of my way during work and rushed to get there to find out it had not been filled yet! Wait, it gets better. One time, I had another woman's meds given to me in the bag! (Some lady's blood pressure meds). Great for medical accidents and patient confidentiality. I wonder who has my meds and personal info somewhere out there. read more
