It's convenient that you're able to get basic urgent care services and then have them prescribe medication that you can then wait for at the on-site pharmacy. I have a medication that I pick up every month, that is generic, but one brand of the generic makes me ill and does not do what it is supposed to do. I have told them repeatedly for almost 3 years now that I cannot use that brand, but again and again they give it to me, and when I go back to say something, they just say that they cannot take medication back and that I should tell them in the future. I have done this repeatedly, and it doesn't matter. They say there is no place in their system to put notes like this, which I find hard to believe since bad reactions to medications can kill people. I called this morning and left a message about this again, and yet when the person who picked up my meds asked if they were the right ones, they were told yes. And, again, now I have to go another month without my meds. This should be illegal. This is a terrible store and the pharmacy manager should be fired, since he is the one that I always talk to, and who seems to constantly be doing this. read more

As soon as I came in the store, I was greeted by the employees! It is a warm, welcome, friendly spot!! Since I have been having problems with my ears, I decided to come and get them checked. The doctor today was amazing. Will definitely be coming back today. I saw Dr. Jones, he was better than amazing! I felt comfortable, he did everything to do. Me and my friend walked in and had to use the atm and one of the workers refused to help us take the card out because we had long nails and forgot to bring a card grabber. We had to seek help from a customer then when we had to break the 20$ bill he said no. We come pull money out of this atm weekly because this is the closest USAA atm near us as there is no USAA bank in Nevada. This happened at 8:20am. He must've been an opener, Edgar haircut. So rude and disrespectful I literally pull money out here all the time and I was treated like a criminal and refused service when I was going to buy a gum packet with the 20 to break the bill. read more

One woman working doing some type of order and complete ignoring the 7 customers who needed help either self checkout and getting items out of cases because they lock up everything. Not a huge selection of food items but they have snacks and variety of drinks to choose from. This is my pharmacy but it was my first time that the pharmacist raised her voice at me. I was getting my prescribed meds from my Nurse Practitioner but the pharmacist refused to give it to me because she said the name of the NP was not included on the prescript paper. I explained to her that the NP is new that is why she just signed it. But I understood about that but the pharmacist was rude with high voice. I have never had one issue with the las CVS I was at. Here, I've had nothing but issues. I've been getting the run around on one of my medications for a week now. My doctor has tried to fix it but still I'm getting the run around. Instead of telling me the doctor can run it through, they should have just said he needed to call. Now it's the weekend and my doctors office is closed. You can never get anyone to answer the phone at all, so I have to drive down and inquire about it instead of just calling. What a joke! Abysmal, disorganized mess that is the pharmacy doesn't really care about upholding any timeline for medication. This is my second month in a row that my prescription for non-controlled Lamictal has gone on a prior auth required status. This time it has been in this status for ten days so far. I worked at Walgreen's around a decade ago and I don't recall prior auths even taking 1/4 of that time for such a simple prescription. Oh, and if you want to call to inquire further, prepare to be on hold for upwards of 20 minutes. So I finally get through to the pharmacy, as I'm writing this. They say that my prescription needs a refill authorized by my doctor. They say they requested this on the 30th of August. Well, my doctor sent a fresh, new prescription on the 31st of August. So...who isn't doing their job at this CVS? Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Literally any other pharmacy is better at this point. read more

Called corporate line and was absolutely *assured* by the lady on the phone that this location would have covid at home tests in stock. Drove to the store and there were none at the pharmacy or the front counter, and despite my attempts to be as cordial and nice as possible, both the woman at the pharmacy counter and both the young lady and young man at the front were incredibly snippy and kept cutting me off with "yep, yep", I wasn't even upset, just informing them that they may want to reach out to their corporate team and inform them, and they continually cut me off and made it awkward and uncomfortable and I will not come back. Definitely time to review customer service basics with your team, and get your communication between stores and corporate in order. read more

Honestly, let me begin by saying that the 1 Star I have graced this pharmacy with is truly a gift and is pretty much wholly due to one employee that is always smiling and genuinely friendly. Well, that and the fact that 1 star is the minimum rating you can give on Yelp. Moving on... Plainly put, this CVS is one of the worst in the chain that I have ever experienced. The overall level of service, with the exception of the one young aforementioned lad, is decrepit and lacks any modicum of respect for the time of its clients. Organization is also lacking, as more than once I have been informed of a convoluted labyrinth of steps I have to take to simply fill my son's monthly prescription that the pediatrician electronically sent over to "save time." If you are cursed enough to be behind another car in the prescription window drive thru, I recommend packing some rations and a canteen of water, as you will be there a while. A long while. Then when the car in front of you finally pulls away, don't breath that sigh of relief just yet, be prepared to hear the recorded voice telling you to be ready then another live voice saying "wait please. We'll be there soon." Of course by "soon" they usually mean about 3 to 5 to 10 minutes depending on God knows what. Once that time has passed and you provide the transactional information required to pickup your order, be ready to wait once again for them to retrieve it and finally accept a signature and payment. Then when it comes to the payment, the cost can vary. Some months the co-pay I have to pay is $10. Other months it's $25. One month, it was free. It's the SAME DAMN PRESCRIPTION every month. Same dosage. Same brand. My insurance hasn't changed either. It's all in how they ring it up and what they type in. I have learned to just deal with it and roll the dice every month. This is Vegas, after all. Some might say, "Michael, stop bitching about the Drive Thru and just get your lazy ass out of the car and just walk in and do your pickup in person." That may seem like a fair retort, but I also have a response to that: It's not ANY better or quicker. I've tried that. Many, many times. One a completely different note (or tangent, if you want to be a pessimist) the merchandise selection is both extremely limited and a horrible value. CVS card or not, the exact same prescriptions and seasonal merchandise can be found either across the street at Smith's or down a mile at WalMart for a significant savings. Not to mention the fact that they stopped selling cigarettes because they are "above that". Please. Because prescription drugs and OTC drugs like Sudafed have never led to any unhealthy addictions. Go watch Breaking Bad and get back to me on that one. The only thing that their 'holier than thou' stance against cigarettes did for them in Vegas is cost them customers and money. Then again, obviously generating a profit isn't a high priority for this place anyway or else they might have attempted to service more than one customer every 15 minutes. Overall, I couldn't recommend this CVS if it was the last pharmacy that hasn't been looted after the zombie apocalypse. Just keep driving and go somewhere else. The only reason I still go there after 10 years is because I'm an idiot and too lazy to fill out paperwork to transfer the prescription to Costco or WalMart. It's akin to the famous line from Hotel California. You can check out any time you like but you can never leave. FML. read more

Not only did this pharmacy treat my wife disrespectfully, they also processed a prescription for my five year old son that they knew they wouldn't be able to fill same day. After already telling my wife that she should go to a 24 hour pharmacy and KNOWING this medicine has restrictions on it they still decided to process it. When we took the prescription to another pharmacy they were unable to fill it because CVS processed that paid claim. This is unacceptable. As a pharmacist technician or pharmacist they know what types of restrictions medications have. The fact that they processed a medication for my five year old son that they knew he wouldn't get until tomorrow is being spiteful. It is unacceptable and sick. I will never use this pharmacy again. read more

This is by far the worse pharmacy I've ever went to. I've been waiting since the 15th for a medication. They put the blame on my provider stating the wrong medication was sent over. After speaking with my doctors office, I was informed that the medication was not in stock so they tried to order the generic. I don't know what the truth is because I've been calling CVS everyday since then only to have the phone ring FOREVER then someone picks up the line and hang up immediately! I've been calling since 0900 today and either get a busy signal or it hangs up after following prompts for the pharmacy. I'm planning on changing my pharmacy as soon as the holidays are over. After calling out sick from work on Monday December 16, 2021 I was told I needed to get rapid covid test in order to go back to work. Unfortunately no one had appointments till Thursday December 16 but I kept checking and then this CVS popped up for a 8:30am appointment for Tuesday December 17, 2021. I immediately took it and headed down on Tuesday December 17. Upon pulling out the email it stated they are doing testing at the old Party USA (Fresh & Easy) building across from this CVS 4810 W Ann Rd. After parking I headed in to the location since the signs stated outside all test were performed inside. After a quick 5 minute test I was done and headed back home. 10am hit and my test came back negative and was ready for work Wednesday. Thank you CVS for the amazing service and quick test results. Highly recommend just wish they had more locations that can do rapid testing same day. read more

This CVS also has a top secret Redbox located outside the store. Okay, it's not really a secret but it gets a lot less traffic than the Redbox across the street at Smith's. Don't use the CVS on Ann and Decatur (Store #2989, 4755 West Ann Road). If you need water, a card, or makeup sure but stay far away from the pharmacy. They are constantly taking prescriptions off of automatic refill, they have done it several times with my husband's diabetes medication and my asthma medication. I filled a prescription through the app, it's not one I need on a regular basis, and after a week of not getting a notification it was filled I went into the store. I was told they didn't have the medication, it would be on the next truck, and they had no idea when the next truck was delivering. I went home and called corporate, the corporate representative called the store and found out they did have my medication in stock and should have filled my prescription two days prior. Before I was even off the phone with corporate I had a text saying my prescription was filled literally 15 minutes after being told it wasn't in the store. Whenever they don't have the prescriptions you need they just tell you to go to another store because they never know when anything will be in stock. The final straw was my husband's prescription which he paid for online and had an emailed receipt from CVS saying it was paid in full and ready to be picked up was no where to be found. We were told it was put back/returned from pick up when according to the email we still had 6 days to pick up our paid prescription. And no, we were never refunded for it either. This is the worst run pharmacy I've ever experienced. read more
