Not sure why this Walmart has such a low rating... It is pretty much what I have come to expect from every Wamart I have been to. Moderately priced, the selection of items is affordable and varied. The produce is a little sad, but if you look, you can find some good items and some GREAT deals. The clothing is appropriately allocated for the season and there are many options. If you are on a budget I am sure you will find something here!! The only downside is that I'm sure all of it is "fast fashion" and totally wrecking the environment. You can also find lots of goods for your home and garden in that section of the store. Although they do have an auto center, I have never used them. The customer service here is hit or miss. Usually I am assisted by someone who obviously wishes I were somewhere else, or probably that THEY were! The parking lot is an adventure. It's definitely cheaper than other groceries stores, but it comes at a price. The parking lot can get pretty crowded, and good luck finding a cart. There were none at the entrance, so I had to go outside to get one. The store was pretty crowded, but we were able to get our groceries. It still was reasonably clean and organized, but had to go though so many people to get our stuff. The checkout lines were a joke. It took a while to get a cashier, even at the self checkout lanes. The attendants were showing customers to the lanes like TSA agents, stressed but relatively polite. It can be chaotic sometimes. If it wasn't for the cheap prices, I would avoid the store. But it has most of what we need at prices much cheaper than Publix and other supermarkets. So I will go there occasionally, but prefer the neighborhood Walmart for just the basic needs. I do not frequent Walmart Supercenter often, but when I do go, I am usually in and out. The prices, as many know, are typically lower than, say, other major local groceries - like Publix, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, or even Target. The quality of the product, depending on what it is you are shopping for, varies. I find the quality of groceries actually a bit better at the Neighborhood Walmart(s) than at the supercenters. As mentioned, I do not frequent Walmart Supercenter often. However, even though I am in and out, there is always ample parking - even on busy holidays like Christmas Eve. There's also the attached Wine & Spirits shop just outside of the grocery store if you are looking for spirits. The staff is usually kind. Pending when you go, the shelves are fairly well-stocked. However, if you are going during major holidays, be prepared to not find everything you are looking for. The store hours have increased - at least for the holiday season. All in all, it is a solid grocery store if you are looking for more affordable alternatives to other, more popular major grocery stores. read more

I try very hard not to shop at this store and chain. They have the worst customer service that I have ever seen. It's hard to understand how they stay open. I think it is only a matter of time until Amazon finishes them off... This location is in an economically challenged area. The store staff are a bad combination of poorly educated and poorly trained. Absolutely ridiculous. Store opens at 6am and I arrived at 6:20am to purchase something from electronics and they had me waiting till 7am to open the electronics. We stopped at this walmart for some bottled water and quick snacks for a weekend hotel stay and day trip to Universal Studios. A staff member stood at the entrance of the store, greeting customers as they entered and I guess to make sure they maintained social distance. Once we were in the store, there were people all over the place. No social distance, many were not wearing facial covering either. This Walmart within the last year put in a bunch of self checkout machines. This was my main complaint 3 years ago when I made my original review. After Publix raised their prices on everything I have decided to shop at this Walmart, and I can't lie I do not hate it anymore. It is way more tolerable going into that store just for groceries and doing your own checkout and leaving. Basically if you go there and you don't need to speak to anyone it's actually not a bad experience. I would give it a 4 star except for the fact that this Walmart is one of the busiest i've ever been in around 5pm or 6pm. I avoid these times at all costs and I only go on my days off at Noon or 2pm. When I go the shelves are always stocked, line for self checkout short if there is one, not crowded and overall a good experience. Overall this Walmart has impressed me as of recently. Came to ask about how long a battery installation would take. Went inside only to be told I had to ask the people outside. That was fine, the girl inside was polite and I didn't know, so no big. Went outside to the little tent, but there was no one there. So I waited for about 5 minutes. When Shaniki finally did come up to the tent, she completely bypassed me to go start setting up a service for the guy in the car. He was there first, so I get that, but the LEAST she could have done was said "I'll be right with you" instead of just acting like I didn't exist. So she takes about 10-15 minutes to get this guy's service set up, I'm waiting patiently outside in the hot sun the whole time. She finally comes back AND DOES IT AGAIN. GOES TO THE CAR THAT JUST PULLED UP INSTEAD OF EVEN ACKNOWLEDGING ME STANDING THERE. So I let her talk to the lady and then I interject to ask my question. One of the guys that was working on the cars is there now and he says it's gonna take about 2.5-3 hours. Cool. Except when I say thank you, that was all I needed and all I've been standing here for, HE gets rude with me like "that's what you get for coming to Walmart." I wish I got his name, but I didn't see a name tag in the brief interaction. As Walmart's go, this is one of my favorites! A lot of my neighbors in Metro West are afraid to shop here because of the location. People!!! Get over it!!! Crime is everywhere these days, we all need to pay attention and lock our cars no matter where we are shopping. This store is always well stocked. I went in to return a shirt I bought at the Ocoee store and yes, there were a few folks ahead of me at Customer Service, but EACH one of them were being treated with attention and care. When my turn came, a very nice young woman thanked me for my patience and I said "no problem". Why was I patient? Because I knew I would be treated with the same courtesy and attention that all the other guests had received. All of the people with whom I have dealt at the Kirkman location have been very helpful. This Walmart gets 5 stars because they are customer service oriented. I will continue to shop this Walmart because it is my neighborhood Walmart and because I think we need to support our neighborhood retailers- especially when they give good service and have items in stock that I need. Don't get any car work done here, they will mess your car up. I had a flat tire with no options and 30 minutes till closing of any tire place so I went to Walmart to get my tires changed. I thought they can't mess this up, well they did. Now when I break my back right tire seems to be off and it has a limp when I break. I did not ask for them to touch anything else besides my back tires, so the fact that my breaks are now off means that they don't know what they're doing. Also they don't know how to read, they're illiterate selves had my tire pressure 10 psi below what it was supposed to be. Even the tires I didn't get changed. I would go back and demand they fix what they did wrong, but I'd be afraid that they're gonna mess something else up worse. If I get into an accident because of brake value, Walmart will be responsible. Save money by not going here. -10 stars. read more

I was hired here august 21st and worked stocking there was a change of management and the new manager claimed she didn't not see me when I been busting my butt off stocking and moving pallets I took a hour break I'm obligated too at 6:20 and clocked back in from my hour lunch at 7:20 I went to go get some more juice to stock in the walk in freezer box and I walked into the manager and she pulled me into the office and terminated me cause apparently she was looking for me for the past "3 hours" when I been busting my butt off the whole day. I went to this Walmart to get my tire fixed because they tires were bought there with the extended warranty, I waited 20 minutes then I was told by a service tech that they stop doing tires for the evening but if I need an oil change they can do it. I told him I don't need an oil change, I need my tires fix, I recently bought my tires here with extended warranty, he then said to me you can come back in the morning or go to another Walmart. I rarely go to Wal-Mart and I believe this store is the reason why. The few employees on the floor turned their back on you as soon as you asked them a question. There are too many not so nice customers roaming around. A lot of items, especially in the pharmacy section are locked up, which says a lot about the type of clientele that frequents this Wal-Mart. If you need anything that is locked up just forget about it and keep on moving. No one is coming to help you. The lines are eternal. THE WORST WALMART I've ever been to. I've been to some stores in really bad neighborhoods and haven't felt this uncomfortable. First off, the characters you see in the pictures called "People of Walmart" are truly live and in full effect at the Walmart on Kirkman Rd (Orlando). This place doesn't even deserve the one star I'm forced to give it. Where do I begin? I blame management and lack of security for the look and feel of the store. Products are missing, packaging torn/broken, and the entire store is disorganized. I purchased a few items and when I got home, I realized that the items were previously opened and missing the quantity indicated on the packaging. The tape on the boxes were still sealed. Oh and the Bolthouse Farm Green smoothie I purchased was sour. The only time they go bad is if you leave them out for a LONG period of time. Makes me wonder about the milk and things they sell too... If there was more security in this store then people wouldn't have enough time to skim from different packages of hand wipes, cereal bars, etc. Speaking of security, keep your purse, wallet, cell phone and anything valuable close to you. I was raised in the inner city and I know the look characters give as they're scoping out their next victim(s). Not all people here are bad, but remember this is the Walmart that has been in the local news many times in the past. Customer Service... there is no customer service. The employees for the most part seemed annoyed that I'd ask a question. When returning the items that I found short in quantity, the ladies at the "customer service" desk were the most rude, obnoxious, and tempermental workers I've ever seen. If I had to go to this store again, it would be for non-perishables, can goods, toilet paper, cleaning products, etc. They're selection in each department is very limited, so I will venture to Target, Publix, or better yet the farmers market for better quality, safer experience, and better customer service. read more

I bought 1.5 months ago a few dolls for Christmas charity. I had a few dolls left after Christmas and I decided to return them back to Walmart. I never saved a receipt. But the doll I purchased was made exclusively for Walmart and you can buy it at Walmart only. Long story short, the manager Lauren decided it's unnecessary to stop by and talk to me in person, poor management!! And they did not let me to return all dolls I have, even I said the store credit would work. I will double check but I believe it's my customer right to return a purchase within 90 days and to receive a store credit without a receipt. Very very poor and unprofessional management!! read more
