As far as traditional pharmacy services go, they're just ok. I pick up my prescriptions elsewhere because I've found they're frequently out of stock and not that communicative. I always feel like I'm bothering or interrupting the staff but getting flu and COVID shots here is usually quick and easy. Otherwise, it seems more and more items get locked up. While I hate this because it's so inconvenient, I somewhat get it to prevent theft...although I'm not convinced people can't just steal anyway. BUT if you're going to lock serums and deodorant away, you have to have staff available to respond when customers request to see the items. Having to press the call button more than 4 times (minutes apart) is unacceptable. This has happened more than once. Is it understaffing? Is it that they just don't want to service me and I should take the hint? (They also don't carry shower caps.) read more

This is the first review I've ever written for a business. It is such a nightmare experience every time I try to pick up my prescriptions- I have to set aside at least an hour each time I come because they rarely have my refill ready or I'd have to talk to multiple pharmacists before they could find my prescription. Some pharmacists would tell me I couldn't use GoodRx when I had confirmed I could or they would tell me a prescription wasn't covered by my insurance when I had confirmed it was. The vibe is consistently rude and condescending- I finally had to switch pharmacies because the experience was so frustrating each time. Alarming place. I hope they close this place down. They actually shorted me 4 antibiotic pills and when I went back to notify the pharmacy, the pharmacist told me "are you sure you didn't lose track of the days?" I said, "I just picked this up 2 hours ago, I haven't taken any". Every customer better count their meds! That was just one of the many negative experiences I've endured there. They're understaffed in the general store area and usually not stocked with what I need. So why bother? And there's all this stuff under lock and key due to shoplifting, like razors and tooth brush replacement heads, if you can find someone to open it for you without having to wait in line. They should just keep the whole store under lock and key and slide me stuff through a speakeasy window. A female pharmacist who refused to give me her name, stated she would not fill my prescription because she "did not like my attitude" and she hung up on me! My Dr called it in there and it was urgent. My " attitude" was that I asked who I was speaking with because I needed to explain my insurance and I already had been transferred . Pharmacy and minute clinic staff gave me incorrect information in regards to COVID19 testing over the phone. After scheduling online and driving almost an hour for rapid test results they treated me like a child and robotically kept repeating themself instead of actively trying to help me solve the problem (which stemmed from the bad info). Every time I've been in this particular CVS there are multiple items missing from the inventory. The shelves are not organized, products strewn haphazardly on shelves. Other times there have been large boxes of left in the aisles. Maybe I'm just always there at the wrong time of day? But I've noticed these issues on more than one occasion. Horrible experience starting with the NPR @ the minuet clinic. She was rude, I felt uncared for and rushed away. Walked over following this experience to the pharmacy were u didn't know it could get worse. They hated everything about assisting a patient and were so rude when it came to even entering my insurance information. They gave me such attitude when the agent wasn't entering anything correctly when is was clearly her mistake. After she finally entered the information she walked away without saying anything.. following that the pharmacist stated my name and just stared at me like I was doing something wrong. Going here to get a prescription filled was the worst. I'm used to going to Walgreens to get my scripts filled, so maybe I'm a bit spoiled and bias because of that. However, there's no privacy unlike at Walgreens. I mean the people in line behind me were exactly right behind me. What if I were getting a script for something very personal? Thank goodness I just had a dental script for a tooth I had just had a root canal on. At the Walgreens I usually go to there's a line on the floor you have to wait behind so that the person being waited on has some privacy. It didn't really matter how closely they were though. The pharmacist literally yells at you the entire time she's "helping" you. Some very angry and mean pregnant woman. Maybe the other workers are more pleasant, I don't know since it was my first time, but she was angry. I ignored everything about her because I tried to imagine myself in her shoes and thought it has to be uncomfortable standing on your feet all day while pregnant. Although when I came back for the pickup she was talking to a customer on the phone just as loudly. Once you walk in the store and get about halfway through the store you can already hear all of them back there TALKING SO LOUDLY. Like I mentioned, I'm Walgreens spoiled, I guess. But I also worked in a hospital for 6 years and kind of feel like this is somehow a breach of the HIPAA laws. Meh... All I'm saying is don't go there if your prescription is something sensitive you don't want anyone to hear. read more

Conveniently next-door to the WAWA gas station, I drop by here often to get some last minute items I need. It is open 24 hours of the day as well as its pharmacy. That's good for those who may have had a late night and need to pick up some Powerades for the go. I have been here during some 'peak hours' and what boggles my mind sometimes is they have like 4-5 registers in the front and usually 1 or maybe 2 cashiers when I've rolled in. Never has been a ridiculously long line but there has been a little pile up here and there. I have a CVS club card but it seems it always prints the coupons I need after I just bought the items. Went to the register and he tried fixing the machine but it just wasn't working...wrote down my name and number and I finished my errands and then he called saying it was ready. Wouldn't recommend using photos services here. It took a full month of calling and dropping in to get my grandmother's film photos back. I kept being told my photos weren't there and wasn't offered any information or explanation. Turns out they just didn't know what i was talking about when i explained I needed to pick up film photos. Yikes. Oh, and it was over $100 for 4 rolls of film, singles, and they didn't provide CDs.When i called and finally got a manager who finally found my photos, I went by to pick them up and was told they weren't there. Not open 24 hours. Ok, they might sell sodas, diapers, and panty hose 24/7, but not PRESCRIPTIONS! After 9pm they are a 7-11. Not a drug store. My vital prescriptions sit there until I transfer them to a DRUG STORE! Additionally, they are rude and slow. I have NEVER gotten out of there in under 20 minutes. They don't open until 8am, making it IMPOSSIBLE to pick up my prescriptions on a weekday. Going back to Walgreens. On edit: Got time off from work to go back and get the vital prescriptions that were in limbo. One car in the drive through in front of me. Took 20 minutes to get my prescriptions that were already ready. Attendant was tired and surely. There are three CVS stores up Ridge Avenue from us all within a minute or two of each other for some crazy reason. Maybe they need to close two of them and consolidate the better employees in one. This is my Pharmacy of choice. I get on my prescriptions filled here and the people are friendly. The store has interesting products such as food, gifts, and as seen on TV. Let's not forget toiletries and candies, I've made a lot of purchases there they're very convenient. I went to this particular CVS pharmacy 6701Ridge Ave immediately after surgery to fill my prescriptions 06.07.2021 at about 6pm - I was met with an extremely cold and rude Asian female (I apologize I SHOULD have noted a badge name) she refused to fill my prescription stating that the Doctor doesn't have the ability to work with calling in that medication or authorization to do so with my particular insurance - I have a commercial gold plan Aetna policy and also state Medicaid - I'm standing there with my hospital arm bands on obviously struggling to even stand there - I tried to explain my situation - asked her what can I do - she offered ZERO assistance and just a nasty curt attitude - I then drove 30 miles away to another CVS still open and cheerfully had my prescriptions filled - This employee has no business interacting with pharmacy patrons - BTW the courteous CVS is 835 Old York Road and the RX is open 24/7 - I thank them wholeheartedly as I am now home resting from my operation after a 3 1/2 ordeal just to get my prescribed medications read more

The staff at the pharmacy here was so rude, that at first I thought they were joking. Doctor called in an antibiotic prescription, and they said it wasn't ready, would be some time. Rather than hanging out with a sick and crying baby, I decided to come back after I got a call it was ready. I was annoyed it wasn't ready when it should have been, but I know places get busy. Returned on Sunday after I got a call the prescription was ready. I got on line at the pharmacy just before 5PM to pick the antibiotic for my baby who still has an ear infection. They helped the woman ahead of me and then when I stepped up, I was ignored. Both women behind the counter turned their backs. When a woman turned around, I said, "I'm here for a pick-up." She snapped, "We're closed." I laughed, thinking she was kidding, because she said it so incredibly rudely. I thought she was being sarcastic! She didn't respond except to begin to close out her cash register. I said, "Wow, for real?" or something like that. I then asked, "I can't get my medicine?" She rolled her eyes and snapped, "You can at 8AM tomorrow." The guy on line behind me looked as shocked as I was. I will NEVER come here again. Transferring all our scripts to a nearby Rite-Aid. Wouldn't trust these people with my family's medications-- it's bad enough my baby has an ear infection for an extra night but I'm also thankful we found out how awful this place was when it wasn't something more urgent! I would STRONGLY urge people reading this review to find another pharmacy. While I don't expect warm cuddles from a big chain, I do expect competent professionalism, and you won't find that here. read more

If I could give this pharmacy 0 or negative stars, I would. They staff is slow and always seem to have trouble with my prescriptions either with finding them or authorizing. I always end up going through multiple staff to get my prescription filled until I find someone experienced who knows what they're doing. Oh and don't bother bringing prescriptions before they close (20 min or less) even if you are dying because they sure don't have time to fill it in the same day. read more

I always come to this location to get some ice and my prescription drugs. The employees are helpful if you ask for help. The store is really clean, and store is well stocked.. Two things that bother me: I am handicapped.. There aren't automatic doors for me to get in store easy. And there is usually a delivery truck blocking most parking. The level of unprofessionalism from the night pharmacist was alarming. She was immediately curt when we arrived as if we were bothering her, even though no one else was in line. She could not find the prescription the Children's Hospital allegedly sent over. Period; asked no questions; offered no suggestions. I said I just called Children's but got no answer. My poor daughter was in pain so I asked if the pharmacist could call and she elevated her voice and wildly threw her arms in the air shouting that I just told her the urgent care didn't answer, "what is she gonna do?!" I asked her to come over and look at the paperwork to check the address printed to see if it matched and she refused saying she is busy going back and forth to the window and computer, which she acted out in exaggerated actions.
