WARNING: This is my neighborhood pharmacy. It used to be well run. Now every time I go in there to pick up a prescription it's a new problem. They've lost the credit card my wife and I keep on file in the system and it takes 15 minutes to sort things out. Or they ring up the order incorrectly and it needs to be redone. Or they substitute a much harsher, older, cheaper medication for colonoscopy prep for the one my doctor prescribed--without telling me--simply because they don't have the right one in stock and they'd have to request it from another store, which they used to do but don't anymore. My wife filled my, antihistamine nose spray Rx for me this afternoon, and when I open the bag tonight, it was soaking wet. The pharmacist or tech had not bothered to screw the top of the spray bottle on correctly, and half of it leaked away. THIS WAS THE LAST STRAW. There's no quality control. Lines and wait times are longer. They don't have standard immunizations in stock for cold and flu season. It's a further drive for me to use the CVS on White and Quimby, but at this point, I am obliged to make the switch. This pharmacy should be shuttered. read more

Do NOT use your credit card here. One swipe and you will be automatically enrolled in CarePass WITHOUT your permission, which will cost you $5/month until eternity or until you're smart enough to realize you've been scammed by a pharmacy. The register lady mentioned nothing of CarePass or anything else besides the usual, hello, how are you doing, etc. When I came home, I checked my email and got a welcome letter from CVS for enrolling in something called CarePass for $5/month and my credit card on file would be automatically charged every month. How did my credit card get on file?? How could this happen?? I cannot believe this company is still in business. For anyone who has ever shopped at CVS, double-check your credit card bills for those sneaky recurring charges. Let's get together for a class action lawsuit and get our monies back! read more

"USED" to be great pharmacy. Now have unfriendly Male Pharmacists that don't speak coherent English. Scanning inventory is more important than customer service. Made me wait 39 minutes to pickup antibiotics that is right behind him. I miss the friendly customer oriented Female Pharmacists. Bring them back! read more

This CVS is pretty small. They don't have a large selection of anything. There is a small chip isle, card isle, small makeup section. I would go to the one on white and aborn down the street that is 24 hours if your looking for a large cheap convenience store. I came to buy a planner to find they don't have a school supply or at least a half isle for paper and notebooks. Only have 1 planner to choose from and it was the mini purse kind. read more

I only come here if I want to buy junk food before my class starts. Usually there's never enough cashiers(only one on the floor) and for some reason even though youre the second person in line, tell me why the person in front of you will just take ten years? It's a CVS curse lmao. P.s. there's a lot of elderly people who shop here. When I was second in line waiting I looked up at the mirrors on the ceiling(the ones they use to see if people are stealing) and I could count all the old people shopping in every aisle lmfao! I usually come here for Arizona drinks before/after class. I don't like how they raised the prices for the Hair, Skin, & Nails vitamins! )= Minus star for the long wait in line all the time. I think they need to put more people at the cash registers. The time spent waiting in line to pay for my things is actually longer than looking for the things I get at the store. read more

I found the service for filling prescriptions to be disappointing. I had a prescription accepted but when i called prior to pick up, I was informed my order could not be filled per a change in the law. This is fine and I agree with follwjng the law. However, Lavanya should have called me to inform me of this change. This needs to be in addition to sending a fax to my doctor on a Saturday. She knows no one would be there to respond on a Saturday. Lack of people skills or ethics is severely lacking. I highly recommend calling first to ensure you medication. read more

I have given up on this pharmacy. They have not filled my prescription because my insurance doesn't cover it, without notifying me or my doctor, offered me a flu short when I was sick, and taken two weeks to fill a prescription. The latest situation was almost comical. I got a text saying my prescription was ready. But I have no prescription. So I called and they told me it was just a notification, asking if I wanted a prescription re-filled. I didn't know what they were talking about so I ignored it. Today I got a message that my mystery prescription was re-stocked because I didn't pick it up. So much for the question about re-filling. They are either clueless or liars. I am in search for another pharmacy. It won't be any CVS if I can help it! read more

This is my go-to CVS location because the lines here are shorter than the one on White Rd and even if they do get long the staff have an actual sense of urgency to get another sales associate to assist as a cashier. Always have the items I'm looking for and their deals are awesome. read more

Very bad check out service. How come when I come here to pick up some beer there is only one checkout line with the same ol' lady that takes FOREVER to scan items and collect the $$$ from the customers. I went to the pharmacy today and Lavanaya the pharmacist withheld my medication just for asking if it's Safe for potential pregnancies I was livid as she wanted to call my lasik doctor. LASIK doctor which is totally unrelated to anything at all about whether if I was pregnant or not FYI your not allowed to get lasik when your pregnant. You have no right to infringe on my customer rights and assume that I'm pregnant or not when it was simple safety concern question . read more

I made an appointment online to get a shot. I get there first thing in the morning and they were all late and then they tell me that "oh we don't have it in stock and it won't come in til about a week". So tell me why offer online appointments then not have the vaccine in stock when I come in for my appointment? Worst customer service ever. read more

So Long's is now a CVS and currently looking very much under construction. I don't know about how everything will look after the renovation, but it looks dated and has limited stock. For now, I miss you, Long's! read more

Really good place to visit while waiting for lunch. They have all kinds of interesting things. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Staff is always super nice and answer all my questions. The interior is always clean as well. So much better than the 24hr cvs on white....

I like this location a whole lot more than others because all of the yummy snack places around it (; I mainly go here for my prescriptions. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be helped! The girls are always nice so that's a plus! The store's usually pretty well stocked with items, makes it convenient when I need to pick something up when I'm already there! The only thing I can really complain about is that it seems so hard to flag down employees at CVS stores when you have a question. Can you believe someone didn't know what stuffing was?! Other than that, I'm pretty happy with this location & will continue to come here for my meds! read more

I only came here once for my medicine and all the other times were for my boss and the family. The orders were always ready, and never really a long wait, and I never dealt with a rude associate yet. I mean, I am with Kaiser so it is no Kaiser, but it is convenient and close by so I use it when I have to. read more

I visit this cvs regularly after school to get snacks since it's so close to evc. There was this one cashier named Tina, who had great customer service, and helped me when she noticed I was waiting in line for my candies. read more

great that this cvs is 24 hrs. some things are more expensive when it was a long's. the layout of the store doesn't bother me. usually has the items on sale. it's a hit & miss with the cashiers. some have a smile on your face & greet you. some don't say anything at all. they just hand you your receipt & off you go without a thank you or have a nice day. FYI: i think they need to train these gloom & doom cashiers. they are representing your business. this will also decide if people will return to your store. it's about customer service. store rating: 3 smiling cashiers that greet you & thank you: 5 doom & gloom cashiers: 1 hopefully the next time i come into a cvs, i won't have this cashier issue. read more

Super convenient! I really like browsing there for some reason; they have a bit of everything; from make-up to junk food to greeting cards, to patio furniture and dresses. LOL. Yes, you have to pay more for convenient as most items are over priced. The staff here lacks customer service; some Asian cashier guy gave me the stink eye when I walked in (like I was going to rob the place). So weird of him... An older cashier lady rudely pointed out where I can check a price for an item while she blabbed on why she couldn't do it at her counter register. Why do I keep coming back? I have no idea, maybe because I often go to the Wells Fargo near by and wanted to browse around real quick before heading home, maybe because it's cheaper to buy a 2 liter at CVS to go with my burrito from Iguanas then to purchase the drinks there, OH wait, I remember, they sell cigarettes for cheaper, usually a really great deal, and the drive is just a straight shot from my neighborhood, that's a plus. :D On a note-so-good note: Parking there sucks, it's SO busy. This review is not specific to this CVS, but all CVS stores. CVS reminds me of the Dollar Tree, except the prices are more expensive compared to other drug stores, despite the bad interior. First off this CVS is not a 24 hour CVS. The prices here are sometimes not the lowest and you can find cheaper stuff at Safeway or Lucky's. I'm sure the pharmacy itself is nice but as an overall store it is lacking. I've seen alot of opened boxes at this location and it kind of has this gloomy atmosphere when you're walking around inside. One of the cool things about this CVS however is that it has the Dr.Scholl's machine which is pretty fun to try to show you what kind of insoles you need. read more

This place has finished the remodeling so it is a lot better than before! There's a new layout so there is more room for their stock. Also, there is usually 2-3 employees at the register so there is almost no wait in the line. I recommend going here if you live in the community and don't want to go to a farther away store. read more

Every time I come in here, there's only one register open and ten people in line. Every freakin' time! And there are always a ton of employees walking by or hanging out behind the customer service desk, watching the line get longer. Why can't you open another register, CVS? I miss Long's. read more

YIKES! The pharmacy here is terrible !!! I wish it were still Long's Drugs, and so I'll never set foot in this one again. Even on the phone, a gal in the pharmacy named CINDY was "unprofessionally rude" to me on 2 occasions.WHERE"S THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ? She seemed like she hated her job ... I never had this problem when it remained Long's Drugs. They also screw up orders a lot and try to always blame it on your doctor's office not getting back to them or forgetting to fax an order to them or some such nonsense...it's unacceptable. I tried the pharmacy at this CVS and when it came time to refill my prescription I asked them to notify me and automatically fill it. When I noticed that over a month had passed and no notification was given, I called and the automated service said it was ready and waiting for me. I tried to pick up the pills and was told it had been on the shelf waiting and had been returned to stock. They couldn't notify me as they did not get my phone number. Now the item was back ordered and they did not know how long it would take to fill. Duhhh! Suffice to say I would not recommend them unless you are prescient! read more

I was in the area and decided to go to this cvs to fill my prescription . Staff was very helpful . They agreed to fill up prescription in 10 mins . So I waited there. I did some of the grocery shopping . Prices on grocery are little on higher side . That's why four stars . But all the staff was very courteous and helpful . Lot of space in parking lot available . I wanted to pay cash for prescribed vitamins but she did not want to take down the info and call Walgreens to do all the work. After speaking with her, I have decided to not transfer. It seems that whenever I need something and go in to "try" CVS, they never have what I need! I could deal with that if the customer service was okay. Unfortunately, the people that work there don't seem to care about customer satisfaction and find it okay to visit with one another instead of opening another checkstand when there are 5+ people waiting in line. I wish they'd get a clue and shape up! they are the closest to our house. I will be taking the extra few minutes to drive to save mart down the road from now on. This is far and away one of the worst CVS pharmacies I have dealt with, inept and unhelpful staff who do not follow-up. They keep asking for same information even though they have repeatedly filled in the prescription previously. While the regular CVS store staff is good, the pharmacy staff should be changed out. This store seems to have the attitude that they don't have to be helpful or polite. At the regular check stand, the first thing you hear, even before acknowledgement of your presence, is "CVS card". There is no "please", no faint smile, NOTHING. Obviously they are trained this way as all but one of them do this. I also have big issues with the pharmacy staff. There is one checker in particular who is so terribly rude that I now am searching for a location close to my home where I do not have to be treated with such utter disrespect. I simply want to go there, get my prescriptions, pay for them, and leave. I do not want to be treated as though they are doing me a favor. I am a paying customer, I enjoy people and am polite. I do not need an interrogation each visit to this location. I have eight or nine refills per month and they are on the automated service. When I go to the counter, I tell them that I am picking up my refills and give them my name. The next thing they bark at me is, "How many". I don't know how many they have filled of my prescriptions. When I answer them that I don't know, I am given an attitude. Can they not go to the bin and LOOK at how many there are??? MANY times I leave without one, as I do not know what they have filled, as their recorded call just says that my prescription is ready. After a while, they return the overlooked prescription to stock. This too is my fault!!! They have a computer AND a bin to look in. Why is this allowed??? read more
