They close at 10:00 but had the front doors locked at 9:57 with two associates standing at a register telling me they were closed.

The pharmacy staff : Just very rude to everyone that I witnessed them deal with. I watched them roll their eyes when people ask questions.

This CVS is the worst. Even with an appointment you will have to wait more than 1/2hr for a vaccine. Incredibly disorganized.

Been coming here for years, and I notice they are very short handed, however I have always received great service from this cashier by the name of Dana.

So there's less drugstores now and they're not as abundantly staffed anymore. But this Walgreens in Belmont is one of the best. The lady was like about $5. She wasn't wearing a name tag but I think she was worried I will report her. She was an older Hispanic lady. She told us. We never submit a code before ordering. I told her we did. She said that she had nothing on screen. My friend asked if there is a manager. She is like I am the manager which she wasn't. She saw me getting pissed off since she was denying what I told her. I said fine. I will record everything. She got scared when I said that. She brought in the manager, Carlos. She acted like she knew everything infront of us. I told him, she had no idea at all. She was making out I was being a difficult costumer. I told him. She never said that to us. I shut her down and made myself very clear. That lady backed out and stayed away to let him handle it.. He gave us our copies for free. He mentioned their printing system isn't up to date. If we wanted free printing, we have to download the app. When we were making the photos, it said coupon submit and the cashier can adjust it for you at the counter. I gave an extra star for Carlos. I would want to give it a 1 for that lady.

I realize I took these other pharmacies for granted. In comparison, this CVS and the Walgreens on El Camino have (in my experience) had consistently decent customer service and have always been well stocked. This CVS seems to frequently ask for customer service feedback after each visit. I commend CVS on making an effort to improve their customer service experience. I always feel welcome and greeted by the associates working at this store and the workers seem helpful when I ask questions. Their pharmacy staff is not as friendly, especially the same two people who work with customers...but they are OK. The interactions with them do not dissuade me from visiting this store. Probably out of all the nearby pharmacies, this one is my favorite both for vaccines and quick and friendly service.

Asher was not checking the messages and mine was called in almost 3 hours earlier. Finally while I was calling in the script for the second time and he kept telling me talk slower talk slower talk slower my patient was trying to let me know. Oh it's taken care of. They finally listen to the messages which was three hours later I wouldn't even give this Pharmacy a one star rating but that's what you have to give. It won't allow a zero star rating, but I'll keep it as clean as I can. This CVS sucks.. Cynthia Stock FNP from Missouri

But that's on me. :) I like the intimacy of this CVS. I know most of the employees and they are always so helpful. No matter how busy it is, they will drop everything to help you. Although their prices can be higher than other stores for some things (get your batteries at Home Depot instead), they are constantly sending coupons though the mail and email and they save serious money!! I've saved $30 on one trip before!! Go ahead and make fun of their receipts, but I love the coupons. They are tailored for what I buy (usually) and save me lots of $$. They're always open when I need them and they have a pharmacy that usually has enough staff to keep people from waiting in line too long. So many things to love about this CVS that they can be forgiven for the right parking.

I even have a 3 hour late window and still fails. I literally tried calling before going down. No one picks up phone except Pharmacy who can only apologize and transfer me back. After 12 minutes and multiple calls (see photo), still unsuccessful. Go into the store and ask when will it be done. Staff member said "I don't know" and I adk can you give me general idea... same response then pause. Wait for it... "Oh for sure tomorrow..." Um that's NOT same day then. I think I have been more than patient and understanding but my business is lost. I had over $500 in gift cards to buy but I'd rather purchase them somewhere else.

This is by far, the best-stocked Walgreens of the local Peninsula Walgreens that I have visited…read more The store is huge, well laid-out (easily shop-able), with wide aisles, easy to view shelving, and plenty of inventory. Every other Walgreens that I visit locally are often out of essential toiletries, health & beauty products, and household necessities such as cleaning products, toilet paper, and batteries, but this one has it all. It also has a lot of employees covering the floor, which is helpful to find products or retrieve the locked-up high-theft items such as toothpaste and hair care. They have a very active & centrally located photo counter, which doubles as a customer service counter right by the front entrance facing the El Camino Real. The employees that work at this particular store are plentiful, polite, professional, and helpful (when you ask for help). The store is clean, bright, spacious, and easy to navigate, every section is clearly marked, well-stocked, and organized like a pharmacy should be. Checking out is a different story. The only cashier's/cash register are at the rear of the store facing the parking lot. There is usually only one cashier, despite it getting pretty busy here. I'm not sure why they planned the store with only 1-2 registers that are away from all the action (main entrance, pharmacy, customer service/photo desk), but it's fairly awkward to have to walk all the way to the back of the store to pay, then walk back to the front of the store to exit, it's alot of walking around back & forth, lol. I guess that's one way to get your exercise in, as well as to tempt the customer to make impulse & spontaneous purchases, or so I think. Anyways, the checking out process is perhaps the worst part of this store & its layout. The cashier's never seem well-trained, motivated, or as helpful as the rest of the employees in this store. Maybe it's a hierarchy, seniority, experience thing? I think the overall shopping experience would be better improved with more trained, energetic, and knowledgeable cashiers, that is you last point of contact in this store and it leaves the final impression as you exit this store. The lines get long and sloooow! As to the pharmacy, the line moves along. It is well-staffed, and the support staff is friendly and professional. The lines tend to swell during peak hours (morning, lunchtime, after work) but it moves fairly quickly as there are alot of people working it to move the customers along. The pharmacists are approachable and open to offer help as well as information about your prescriptions. The pharmacy at this branch is very good and I don't mind coming here at all after stopping at the local hospitals & medical clinics found along El Camino Real and San Mateo Drive. Parking is easy in the back with a big, metered parking lot (but you have to pay and it's not cheap). Street parking at the front of the store is a bit more difficult and sparse. Overall, it's a good experience here, I just wish the cashier/checkout/exit line was a bit more efficient and expedient!
