I love to come here because the service is fast, friendly attendees, they can locate easily the medicine, very knowledgeable about it, they close only from 1:30 to 2 pm for a lunch break. Where's the option for zero stars! The service here is terrible! I've never had so many issues with any CVS pharmacy but this one. I hate coming to this location. I liked the idea that it's inside a target and safer from the other locations that have homeless people lingering around and it's closer to where my mom moved. I'm so furious! They never have in stock my mom's medicine for her transplant. Been coming here for a year already and same damn issue - they have to order it which takes a few days. The last straw was when a month ago my mom ran out of her medicine and I had been calling to ask if they can give it to her a few days early but no, they don't loan any out (I get it they don't want to over prescribe) but my moms dose changes constantly depending on her labs. Well they don't give any alternatives nor do they offer to check other cvs to see if they have it in stock! They're so quick to hang up and don't try to find a way to help. Someone dropped that ball last month when my mom went 6 days without her medicine which could be dangerous for her. The Dr sent the order on a Friday afternoon and there we were waiting for a call/alert of it being ready. Never got one & we "gave them some time" until Sunday. We call on Sunday and they say "oh yes we have the order we just needed the date of her transplant" WELL NO ONE CALLED TO ASK FOR THE INFORMATION that medicare requires to fill the order! read more

Worst CVS pharmacy I have ever used!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 They all suck but this one is especially BAD. They take a lunch-WHAT? They rarely have my prescriptions, they need to be ordered!!!!! I get the same meds every month DU, I guess that's too hard to figure out. I recommend they use AI and get their act together!!!! If I call them on Friday for a refill that is current and they have to order it as they usually do then I wait til MONDAY OR TUESDAY to get my PAIN meds. Thank you for the withdrawals!! read more

Big thank you to Jack - my wife's father had a prescription that was only partially fulfilled at another CVS. He was able to quickly transfer the prescription while juggling other customers. He was very kind and attentive and I appreciate it quite a bit. He also was offering people n95 masks, which didn't happen at the previous CVS location. My doctor wanted me to take a particular drug immediately, and I didn't have time to go to my regular pharmacy in Fullerton. This one was the closest to my work that HAD a pharmacy, so she sent them my prescription. Like my normal pharmacy, they filled the prescription quickly, and texted me when it was ready for pickup. The pharmacy is located on the right side of the building, toward the back of the store. The store itself isn't very big, so you can see if after you past the aisles of cashiers. The guy who helped me was friendly, and rang up my drug for $4. He asked if I had a Target Pharmacy card, and I said I have the red card. He asked me to use it, but I said I didn't want to swipe it for a mere $4 and tried paying cash. He looked at me bewildered, as in why I didn't want my "double pharmacy points". I told him I don't like doing a debit for four mesely dollars, even if I get these so called points that I don't even remember how to use. He noticed I was new to that location, and said the pharmacist will be out to consult me on how to use this new drug. The pharmacist came out, read the bottle "Take 1 pill every 12 hours" and said that I should take this drug every 12 hours. Seriously, I waited for him to read my bottle? I even tried joking that I better not take it now (at 3:00 pm) as I'll have to take the next one at 3:00 AM! He just commented, take it at dinner and breakfast. So much for a joker. Its a decent pharmacy located inside a sketchy Target. Not fond of the location, but they are opened until 9pm, which is later than my Fullerton one. read more

I have been going to this cvs inside target for at least two years and love their service. There is usually no wait and if there is they always apologize about it. They treat people with respect and they are very kind to the elderly. Even though they are not Hispanic I have seen them talk to Spanish to the elderly with kindness and respect. I was very touched by that. I feel welcomed every time I go there as soon as they have a customer they greed the customer and let us know they will be right with us. There is this particular girl name MAYLENE she is so nice, professional and kind and she is always the same and welcomes people with a smile. I used to LOVE Target Pharmacy. Fast service, cool packaging, and they had an easy rewards program. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I work nearby and have picked up my monthly prescriptions there for four years or so. A few weeks ago, they changed to CVS Pharmacy, as did every other Target Pharmacy in the country. The staff was the same, but the CVS system is brutally slow. I waited in line for 20 minutes the other day only to find that some of my insurance info was lost in the switch, which added another 10 minutes to sort out. 30 minutes start to finish, compared to the five minutes or less that it used to take. It has nothing to do with the staff--they are just as friendly and helpful as they always have been--but the CVS system has slowed everything down with the amount of information that has to be collected and entered. I love that they carry Advil Cold & Sinus. This always works very well for that pesky sick season! I hate getting sick!! One thing that I have a problem with is that sometimes I can't find the Excedine that I like. The one with the white round tablets in the smallest bottle so I can carry it around in my purse. Getting your prescriptions filled here are pretty timely. I've had some problems before with my doctor not updating this pharmacy about my (what should have been) automatic refill updates.... but the staff was always able to contact my doctor for me and get it figured out VERY quickly. I want to start by saying this is the best pharmacy I have been too and I am glad I switched to it !! I want to thank a few employees who provided great customer service and were so kind !! I want to explain a little of what the situation was I couldn't find a pharmacy with The name brand of the medication that was proscribed to me so I had it switched and they helped me get it quickly!! The first girl by the name of Maylene was so helpful with the situation that I was going through she took the time to make sure I got the proper Prescription I needed and even called got an approval from my doctor and ordered it for me and got it in one day and she kept me informed the whole time !! I also spoke to Veronica she too was very kind and helpful !! I suggest this pharmacy that is located in the Target on 17th and Grand it is the best so well staffed and very clean you will be happy you went here !! read more

I rarely write a review unless service is horrid or a joke. I ordered a blood pressure medication before the last refill date, the pharmacy never processed the order, I found out when attempting to pick up my refill, not only did the pharmacist fail but when I was supposed to pick up the rx that was not filled to greet me at the pharmacy pick up window was a young Chinese male dancing to music at the counter as customers are speaking, he's not paying any attention so he asks my date of birth 3 times. This CVS Pharmacy department is a JOKE SLOW LONG LINES IMMATURE PHARMACY STAFF. I help pay your pay check. read more

The pharmacist with the pony tail does not provide positive customer service. When my mom went to pick up her prescription and the amount was more than last time he was very short and rude to her and he said well sometimes the price changes. He had already inputted her info, which takes time, so she said she needed to get more money and would be back. They are suppose to hold it for 9 days. She went back 2 days later and found out he had put it back and not held it. Another pharmacist had to take time to input her info again. Not good customer service, we will be transferring to another pharmacy. No need to be rude to elderly people on a fixed income. read more

I find the Target Pharmacy to be among the lowest priced for Rx items. The staff is always friendly, helpful and professional. I never have to wait long for a prescription pickup and if you want to wait for a drop off it's usually ready in 20 minutes. read more
