Hidden house cafe is located exactly like it's called in a hidden location lol, jk it's not that bad but still, it kind of reminds me of a speak easy entrance. Anyway, either way, super cool spot, coffee is nice and strong and the matcha delicious. Service is good, could be better but not terrible. The location and beautiful outdoor seating area makes up for any lack of anything. Our friend from out of town loved it!

Such a cute little coffee shop! Great service and the drinks were really good! Not too sweet and didn't even have to ask for less sugar.

This place is a vibe! Very cute inside and outside. Parking is free at the lot next door, as long as you park in the spots that say "HHC.". All the baristas were friendly and patient, as it was our first time here and were a little undecided. I ordered and egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant, delicious. The croissant was perfectly toasted, buttery and flaky. I also ordered an iced pistachio latte, came with cold foam, again delicious. Not overly sweet, good flavor. We sat outside and the patio area is very spacious, has music playing but not blasting which was nice. Cute outdoor area with plenty of seating and tables. We'll be back here for sure!

Oh how I've missed you! It's been awhile since I've been here due to not working in the area anymore. Just as good as I remebered. Delicious! I ordered a black hot coffee, almond croissant, a brown sugar maple latte. The latte was Perfectly blended coffee with slightly sweet flavoring which was not overpowering. Paired it with a bagel bomb! The croissant was delicious as well. Highly recommend. Service was excellent and the vibe was chill on this early Saturdaymor kind. The place is cute with indoor and outdoor seating. If you're looking for a comfortable and hip coffee shop, it's his is it! I lived closer, I'd be a regular, again!

Got two pastries a cinnamon roll and chocolate twist. And two drinks a strawberry matcha and iced coffee with a vanilla foam. Chocolate twist was delicious would recommend. Cinnamon roll was not good very hard, tasted weird. Matcha was more milk than matcha, wouldn't recommend. Coffee was good, vanilla foam tasted like milk foam no vanilla flavor. Okay service, it was busy so I'm sure they were over it. A lot of seating. Spent $30 on four items the two drinks and two pastries. Good prices, I just didn't enjoy most of what I ordered. I wouldn't come back. Vibes are off.

This is a really cool coffee house to visit even just to get a few cool photo shots. Ambiance is an industrial type but nicely decorated. Service is great, they took our order super fast even though that they were quite busy. This place has your basic coffees plus some specialty drinks and quite a few different Matcha options like with Pistachio Cold Foam. Unfortunately I couldn't try the Matchas variety with cold foams since they were not dairy free. We ordered a regular Iced Ceremonial Matcha with almond milk and a Cortado with almond milk. Matcha was nicely done and the cortado was excellent, like a cortado should be. They did offer some pastries, but we didn't try one.

I've been on a kick trying out different coffee shops around my work, and today I stumbled across Hidden House coffee. They have a spacious interior with ample free parking in the adjacent lot. I ordered the dirty chai latte, which was nicely spiced and sweet with that good kick of espresso. I'll definitely be back!

Hidden House Coffee is such a cute spot. I love that there is a whole parking lot which is rare to find in downtown Santa Ana. I've come here at 7am on a weekday, 4pm on a weekend, and the vibes and friendliness of the staff has always been consistent. I love trying unqiue seasonal drinks but I also ask a lot of questions in case I dont like them... and the staff always explained the drinks to me without making me feel bad for interrupting them! Ive tried many drinks here, their pour over was so smooth and came in a fancy bottle, and their strawberry matcha was sooo much better than any other strawberry matcha I've had and it turned out they make their syrup in house! I love coming here on the weekend to study in the patio and it feels like a mini nature getaway. I'm always looking forward to coming!

I've been going to Hidden House since they first opened. It remains my top favorite cafe in OC to work, study, or just grab a drink. I've also visited their cute wooden cabin location in SJC. This Santa Ana spot is a gem, tucked away in a neighborhood, an old brick warehouse, with a parking lot conveniently located right next to it. There's just something magical about Hidden House...not just the amazing drinks (smooth coffee), house-made pastries, and the aroma of freshly roasted beans but also the vibe. It truly helps me focus and get into the zone for studying/working. I can honestly sit here for hours and be productive. Everyone is always super friendly and helpful. The place is always clean, and you'll often see regular local customers. You honestly can't go wrong with any of the drinks here (especially their seasonal...and we all know their strawberry puree, pumpkin foams..etc are always freshly made in house). My personal favorites are the espresso tonic, pistachio cold brew, and just a standard classic latte. Their house-made pastries are also a must! They have one of the best banana cakes and they'll even heat it up for you. Lately, I've been struggling to focus while studying for a certification exam, so I've been coming here every weekend to stay motivated with a drink and a slice of warm banana cake. I'm not usually someone who stays at cafes for hours but Hidden House is that kind of place. The vibe is just right and the drinks make you want to slowly savor the moment. Truly thankful for this place! and for all the friendly staff and the amazing baker!

Nice cafe ! Strawberry scone was very tasty more like a cake than traditional scone but delicious nonetheless AND sizable portion. Drinks were perfect temp and taste. Seating is a little hit or miss nice they have lots of tables but not quite enough and wooden blocks for sitting aren't great really comfortable. Most people at tables were there for long haul, settled in with computers and such but it's great if you need a place to get out to do work esp with the rain but doesn't leave many options for others coming for coffee and a chat.

    Matcha!

I really love this coffee shop! I tell everyone about it. It's so cute inside. I got a matcha but I've also tried their coffee. 10/10 would recommend.

    Main entrance

We visited Hidden House Coffee and tried a flat white and a pistachio latte with almond croissant--everything was delicious. The back patio is a really cozy spot to relax and enjoy your drink under the shade of the trees. The baristas were also very friendly and welcoming.

Found this spot by chance. We were headed to 6100 but the line was insane and drove by this place and decided to pop in. Best happy accident ever. Coolest little coffee shop with beautiful brick interior/exterior. Staff was super sweet and gave my little one a sticker. We ordered a brown sugar maple latte, strawberry matcha, breakfast burrito and chocolate twist pastry. Coffee was great phenomenal, the perfect sweetness and super chilled. My husband loved the matcha and said the strawberry was balanced really nicely and again perfect sweetness level. The burrito was really tasty and loved the green salsa. Didn't get to try the chocolate twist because my son inhaled it in a matter and of 2 minutes, so assuming it was good LOL. Awesome little shop that we'll definitely keep in our Sunday morning rotation!

Still, I decided to give this place a second chance (no angry neighbor this time), and I was glad I did! PARKING: There's street parking around the neighborhood - I parked on Almond Ave so I wasn't in front of a house. The spots right outside the shop were 30 minute only. If you can't find parking there's probably tons as you go east if you're willing to walk. WHAT I ORDERED: Pistachio cream cold brew THE DRINK: Amazing. I've had my share of acidic or bitter cold brews, and this was not one of them. The cream was perfectly sweetened and flavored . SERVICE: Exceeded my expectations. The baristas when I came in were very bubbly and answered my questions and gave me suggestions, and were funny too! I wish I got their names, but they were working on Monday early afternoon - I hope they get some recognition. We also got some samples of the food items (which may have swayed me to get the turkey panini next time I come in). Even with the experience I had above a while back ago, I remember going in to let the baristas know and they were very understanding and apologetic, which I really appreciated. VIBES: Probably one of the top coffee shops to get work done in OC. Here's my work-from-coffee-shop checklist: * OUTLETS: So many. Not at the tables downstairs but in the private rooms and at a lot of the seating upstairs. * WIFI/INTERNET: Yes, good speed * BATHROOMS: Yes, clean * WATER: You can ask for free water * VOLUME: Music was a little bit loud but not terrible * SEATING AVAILABILITY: Lotsssss of seats when I came on a Monday late morning-afternoon. Very cool that there were private rooms (which can be reserved two hours in advance if you call them), tables, bar-style seating upstairs, and most importantly, comfy couches!! * LAPTOP FRIENDLINESS: No restrictions BOTTOM LINE: I can't believe I almost missed out on this gem. I'll be back soon!

I think I've only had like a small instance where the internet got a little slow but other than that this is a pleasant spot to visit. You can also rent a study/conference room from the church. I sent a message before because I needed a spot to do my final oral exam virtually. There is a small fee but unfortunately no one got back to me. There is a QR code that takes you to a site where you fill out a form to request the space. Now, these requests are handled specifically by the church not the coffee spot. Although it is in the same area. The staff is super friendly. The restrooms are always clean. Handicap friendly. They also have a wide variety of baklava and fresh knafeh right there ready to cut, which is a sweet cheese dessert with a fun kataifi crunch. The gentleman who helped me was very kind, though there was a slight language barrier. He let me try a bunch of nuts when I inquired - and I sort of had to, since several varieties were unlabeled, or just had a sign for what they were, or what the flavor was, but not vice versa. The nuts were good and seemed like a good and healthy snack to bring into a theme park or to have at home. I thought the flavors I tried were hard to distinguish from another after a while, and subtle. I had the fresh Dubai chocolate and thought it was pretty nice, distinctly bitter, nutty, moist, with tons of fresh kataifi crunch. You do have to keep it refrigerated though, as I assume it's made with ingredients that wouldn't hold well together at room temperature - typically a better sign in terms of paleo diets if you've ever made paleo chocolates for yourself. It's a bit atypical from other Dubai chocolate as the filling quantity here is uniquely generous. It's very rare to see a cute, almost timeless shop like this, containing lots of traditional and authentic goods. Would enjoy revisiting to try their coffee and the nearby food.

One piece of feedback is that the menu should be reorganized. There are espresso drinks on several of the menu panels but then one space specifically that is titled espresso drinks which would imply the others don't have espresso. For example, the house specialties are listed on a completely separate panel as the espresso drinks, would've like to order one of those had I known they were offered. Essentially you have to read the whole menu with the way it's currently organized you can't just search for tea or coffee sections or you'll likely miss something Importantly you can't study or work here. While I support this, it's not made know to customers by signs or anything - you would have to look on Yelp beforehand to know. In addition, I've been to other Kean branches that offered wifi so unless this is a new policy or the branches are owned independently it's important to make customers aware they can't expect the internet at this location in particular. I was caught off guard and had to leave immediately as I needed wifi at the time which was unfortunate. Seats about 25 inside, patio also available. Bathroom under lock and key.
