Hands down one of my favorite coffee shops from this month!!! Walked in on a Saturday afternoon & several people were studying/hanging out. We were politely greeted by the host, this shop is combined with a pizza shop that also smells sooo delicious! The coffee was exactly as it was described! We got the tiramisu latte & the carrot cake latte with oat milk. The carrot cake latte was perfection!!! The notes of carrot combined with the vanilla cream cheese cold foam was perfect. The tiramisu was sooo good as well, where my partner literally chugged it all!!! Definitely want to come back and try their pastries, as they were delicious! If you find yourself in this area definitely stop by!!

Before I leave a review for a coffee shop, I like to try at least five different lattes, and every single one I've had from Mad Coffee has been delicious. The Teddy Graham Latte, Churro Latte, Blueberry Pancake Latte, Cairo Latte (my absolute favorite), and Carrot Cake Latte were all amazing. Honestly, I think I finished each one within 10 minutes. The inside is super cute, and they also have great pastries. They're connected to Rafael's Kitchen and tucked away between corporate buildings, making them feel like a hidden gem. Every time I've gone in, everyone has been so friendly, and they make the drinks incredibly fast, even when they're busy. There are so many coffee shops in Costa Mesa, but Mad Coffee definitely stands out.

I went in for coffee and ended up getting breakfast too and I may have just found the best coffee I've ever had. I ordered the banana bread latte with almond milk and the Santa Ana breakfast burrito. The coffee was made to perfection, and the banana bread latte actually tasted like banana bread, which was seriously impressive. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Lots of seating btw! Safe to say... I think I just found my new coffee shop

A little confusing to find but you have to walk straight through a building to get to it from the parking lot. I probably went at an off hour because it was pretty empty. When I walked in nobody acknowledged me lol and an older lady had to get the attention of two girls who were chatting to come take my order. Coffee was good a little on the sweeter side really cute cups. I'd def come back to try other drinks or their specialty drinks!

I got an iced matcha latte with coconut milk and honey syrup and wow was it good!! If you like a strong matcha this place is for you. The color tells you everything you need to know. Not too milky, not too sweet. All of their syrups are made in house, or you can get it unsweetened if that's what you prefer. They have a good amount of seating too so it makes a perfect place to get work done. The staff is also super sweet as well! Lots of unique flavored lattes at this coffee shop. It's also connected to a restaurant with food that smelled really good. They validate parking for a couple lots/structures that are nearby. I believe there was also street parking right out front Banana bread latte: 5/5 good amount of banana flavor that wasn't artificial tasting. Definitely a sweet drink though and the coffee flavor wasn't super strong

One thing about Mad is that they do not play about drinks The matcha here is seriously high-quality and never disappoints! Each drink is made to order and whisked to perfection. My favorite is the banana bread matcha with almond milk. The customer service here is also perfect to my preferences because I prioritize quick and efficient service with quality drink construction. I love how there's plenty of seating and the interior has such a calming aesthetic. I return to Mad Coffee pretty frequently because I know my money is paying for quality ingredients and drinks. I highly recommend Mad Coffee to all my friends because I know the experience is gonna hit every single time!

Excellent service and drinks with a delicious variety of options. There is also a brunch section with lots of food options. I got the carrot cake latte and it was dreamy !!

The place is very pretty and clean. There is easy sidewalk parking at the front of the cafe. It can easily park about 6 cars. There is also a parking garage available. What's cool is it's located next to a sit in restaurant as well. I believe it's part of it! Drinks take a while but for one staff member working at the time; it was pretty reasonable. I got the birthday latte which was a yummy treat. Go and check it out!

I love their seasonal menu because it really sets the mood for the season! I tried their salted maple cinnamon roll latte this time and it was delicious. They have a few 24 minute parking spots in front of their shop and across the street but on the weekends those fill up. I parked in a lot across the street which said $1.25 for the first 15 min, I left within 15 min and it didn't charge me so I'm not quite sure how that works. They also have a sign that they validate parking but I don't know if I parked in the right lot for that. Only downside of the location is this parking situation.

I got a carrot cake latte & an almond latte! Both coffees were delicious, definitely both coffees on the sweeter side. I wish the coffee flavor was more apparent, but they were both yum! The baristas were very kind in explaining their fall menu as well--there's a lot of space in the cafe, but it seems like you would stay and eat, not study. Would swing back for the carrot cake latte ‍

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Definitely worth the visit!

The parking however, was VERY filled during this time. The line was huge for a 11:00am on a Friday morning. We were bummed that the QR code was not working on the very cute wooden signage outside the coffee shop while we were in line, which was a bummer. The Honey Oat Latte with oat milk was delicious. I am notorious for chugging my iced coffee but this was absolutely delicious. A sweet, subtle honey sweetness taste and the creamy oat milk was divine. My manager's Spanish Latte was so much better & I will be getting that next time! We bought our other coworker the Strawberry Matcha, which we did not try & we were worried after the fact because it did not look like it had strawberries in it, but she confirmed it was very tasty and tasted the strawberry! The outside seating areas in this outdoor area was very cute. Lots of fun art, the directory was creative, the CD tunnel was the coolest part! We also walked over to the breakfast burrito place as well. This seems like a nice area to come and relax and just people watch and enjoy a delicious iced latte from Nook.

There is limited parking but the lot was mostly empty when I visited at 8am on a weekday. I was greeted with a smile upon entry and I got in a line of about 8 people. The line would whittle down rather quickly but then would go right back up to about 8, back & forth, during the entire time I was there. Only 2 gals were working but they were like a machine, taking orders and cranking out drinks in a perfectly synchronized barista ballet. I ordered a large hot Spanish latte and chose a chocolate croissant from the pastry case. I declined having the pastry warmed as the chocolate gets melty and gooey-messy all over my hands. She informed me that the latte would have 4 shots of espresso unless I wished otherwise, but I was ready for a good case of coffee jitters. The interior is very small with 6 two-tops crammed together and a window counter with 5 or so chairs. I sat at a table. The latte was perfectly made, served at immediate drinking temperature, with a great quality coffee and a cinnamon flavor that was exactly the right strength. The croissant was fresh with plenty of chocolate inside. By the time I finished it, I looked like a three-year-old; my lips were smeared with chocolate. This was an excellent pastry.
