We were politely greeted by the host, this shop is combined with a pizza shop that also smells sooo delicious! The coffee was exactly as it was described! Before I leave a review for a coffee shop, I like to try at least five different lattes, and every single one I've had from Mad Coffee has been delicious. The Teddy Graham Latte, Churro Latte, Blueberry Pancake Latte, Cairo Latte (my absolute favorite), and Carrot Cake Latte were all amazing. Honestly, I think I finished each one within 10 minutes. The inside is super cute, and they also have great pastries. They're connected to Rafael's Kitchen and tucked away between corporate buildings, making them feel like a hidden gem. Needed a pick me up on a Friday afternoon so we decided to stop by for a quick coffee run. Not sure if theres a parking lot because its in a business area but we were lucky to find street parking right in front. But it was only a 20 mim parking spot. Definitely not ideal if you want to dine in. The coffee shop is attached to the restaurant. We got the Roasty toasty latte and the banana bread latte from their specialty menu. Their main menu seems very minimal and their specialty menus are always changing depending on the season. The roasty toasty latte had the perfect amount of cinnamon taste to it and the roasted coffee paired well with it. The banana bread latte was light with hints of banana. It was ok.. Apple Maps takes you to the parking lot which is technically a courtyard Marriott parking lot. It's located inside of an office building, which means it's not super straightforward to get to on a weekend. There are 3 lines when you get to the entrance, one for Rafael's, one for the self service kiosk, and one for the cafe register. I ordered through the self service kiosk I waited at least 25 minutes for my matcha and an americano on a Sunday at 10:30 although there were 4 workers behind the bar making drinks. I received a text that my order was ready ~10 mins after ordering but nothing was ready. Originally I was worried about parking since it's located inside of a biz complex, but Mad Coffee has got you covered. They offer free daily validation, allowing you to visit, sip your coffee, and go to town on whichever work task you've been avoiding. I was able to sample a number of their items, including their banana latte, birthday cake latte, and a hot honey pizza with chicken. Each item was superb. The place is very pretty and clean. There is easy sidewalk parking at the front of the cafe. It can easily park about 6 cars. There is also a parking garage available. What's cool is it's located next to a sit in restaurant as well. I believe it's part of it! Drinks take a while but for one staff member working at the time; it was pretty reasonable. I love their seasonal menu because it really sets the mood for the season! I tried their salted maple cinnamon roll latte this time and it was delicious. They have a few 24 minute parking spots in front of their shop and across the street but on the weekends those fill up. I parked in a lot across the street which said $1.25 for the first 15 min, I left within 15 min and it didn't charge me so I'm not quite sure how that works. Mad coffee is located inside an office building. There is street parking out front. GPS will try and take you to the back parking lot. If you park there, you will have to walk around. The kindest friendliest staff works here. I ordered a boring Iced Americano and it was good, but not my favorite thing about this place. The cookies are bomb. Like call everyone you know, write it the sky delicious. I got my Peanut Butter Reese's cookie and practically inhaled it! I asked if they made them in house and one staff member said they make them in house at a sister restaurant in Huntington Beach and send them over fresh! I love the whole vibe of this place too. As of Sept 19, 2025 - the new Fall menu is out!! Was so excited to see the new creations. The guy at the register was extremely helpful with answering all our questions and giving his suggestions. Carrot cake latte (half sweet) was delicious, 10/10!! Wow - I can see why it was on the Spring menu AND continuing into the Fall menu. Unfortunately the almond croissant latte was a total miss. It's more of a basic "almond latte" than anything special, very underwhelming to be honest. Not sure where the croissant in the name comes into play. The only thing that missed the mark was the freshly squeezed orange juice. It didn't taste the best, but it might've just been a bad batch of oranges. My main issue was with the customer service. When I mentioned the juice, the server told me the kitchen had tried it that morning and no one had complained. That response didn't really address the concern. Mad Coffee is an unconventional spot! Located in a corporate area off the 55, its entrance is off of Sandpointe. However, free, validated parking is a structure behind it. The surprising part is that it's 1/3 pizza restaurant, 1/3 coffee shop, and 1/3 brunch spot. When you walk in, folks are helpful in pointing you where to go for what. It was just a bit surprising, if you're just going off the Yelp/Maps, to be asked if you wanted to have a sit down meal. The place was well decorated, but lacked air circulation/was quite warm. The person at the register was very nice and helpful. There are some pastry options in the case. I went with a Guava Cheese Danish which was pretty tasty. I was mostly dissatisfied with my matcha. I only noticed after taking a sip after I had left, but it wasn't fully whisked/blended so there were still chunks of matcha powder. Was super excited to try the Baklava latte, but I think I was looking at an old menu! Tried out their seasonal flavor: Brown Butter Sage, and it was super indulgent but delicious. I think I may be used to Oatly barista blend oat milk, which has a much thicker, creamier mouthfeel, and I believe they use Minor Figures Barista Blend, which is thinner. Personal preference, but I would have enjoyed another brand of oat milk. However, the brown butter sage syrup was super yummy! Did not get too much sage flavor coming through, but the more of the latte I drank, the more of the rich, nutty brown butter flavor came through. I would definitely come back and enjoy a meal at the adjacent pizzeria while enjoying another specialty latte! The space is fairly large with lots of seating, and I could imagine coming to do some work. read more

I probably never would've found this place if it weren't for social media. It's tucked away in a pretty odd location that doesn't seem to get much foot traffic. The inside of the cafe is nice and quite spacious; plenty of seating available, and they have some tables outside as well. I came here wanting to try their Biscoff latte, but apparently it's a seasonal fall drink, so I ordered the gingerbread latte instead, and my friend got the banana bread latte. It did take a while for us to get our drinks - seems like they get quite a lot of takeout orders here. Both drinks were solid though. Not too much ice, and the flavors were very pronounced - especially the banana. Probably one of the few banana lattes I've had where you can actually taste the banana. The gingerbread latte was maybe a tad too "spicy" for my liking (very clove-dominant, I'd say), but I like how they put a whole gingerbread cookie in the drink lol.
