1star for the pharmacy. It is really rude and I plan to change and not visite this pharmacy anymore even this is the nearest.

I come here primarily for the pharmacy. The regular pharmacy staff are competent and caring individuals. Scrips are ready more or less when they say they will be, and the pharmacists have always been willing to spend an extra few minutes with me to answer questions. The rest of the store is fine, cleaner than average for most CVS or Walgreens type places-- but that's damning with faint praise. read more

I've never, ever (except once in 2012) bothered to go on Yelp and write a whiny review. I am taking the time and energy to do it on my day off because maybe there is JUST ONE PERSON I can save from the unnecessary rudeness of the pharmacy manager. If you're reading this, consider yourself saved. You're welcome ;) I'll admit I was in a crabby mood when I got there and it may have showed on my face, but that was no excuse to get borderline aggressive when I asked her (very nice and not at all rude) employee to provide me with a copy of a fax receipt. (I was tired of people who said they were going to "follow up" on stuff then didn't) I will travel out of my way NOT to go here even though it's really convenient. Such rude and unprofessional behavior from a manager and it's time she's called out on her behavior. Her name is Kavita Kamat. I don't feel bad saying it especially since one other Yelp user already called her out by name and behavior. Apparently this rudeness is her baseline. Done with CVS in general after this since it's not the first time I've had this kind of experience there, just the worst. read more

This CVS is awesome! I walked in and was surprised by the quick and friendly help I got (without even having to ask). The woman asked if she could help me find something and she showed me to the place where I could find the item I was looking for and described to me the different options available. The pharmacy department here is terrible. They're incredibly rude to everyone for no apparent reason, usually can't find my prescription upon arrival, never automatically refill my prescription even though I'm signed up for it, and this is the only location I've ever been to that needs more than 24 hrs to refill a prescription. Going to start driving 15 min away to the next closest CVS just so I don't don't have to deal with these guys anymore. read more

I duuno if it's because the store is located near a major bus route (22-el camino) but upon entering the store i noticed that the pavement and the trash receptacles outside the doors were blackened and slimey! the result i think of food being dropped,spilled,dumped,vomited, all over the place! A NO STAR STORE. The worst customer service I ever faced for any store and its is not expected from a store who deals with medicine. I am going to this store (still working) for last 10 days for a vacation supply and everyday they come up with new stories. Today the said the Accu Check from Roche is actually no more available! Manufacturer stopped making it. Immediately we called to Roche and they are sending by overnight FedEx a month supply for free. The other medicine we asked for the override is still not done in 10 days!!! Should I say they are a group of useless sitting there and wasting our time? Only one works there is Andrew. Even for the regular orders its always come back in an hour and even after that you need for the refilling. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE, I am definitely switching. read more

Yesterday, I ordered a photo and got a confirmation via e-mail that states "your photo is ready for pick up" around 2:30pm. I went in there 5:15pm. My photo is not there. First, they would doubt the customer that the customer may have showed up before it is ready. I showed the lady the e-mail. Then she said,"Oh, maybe photo machine is broken and the photo was never printed. You will still receive confirmation e-mail though because there is no system that stops notification e-mail in case error in the printer happens" I was puzzled and asked her, "what should I do then?" and she said,"order again". Two things that are wrong in this conversation; 1. She never apologizes for the inconvenience. 2. She suggests that I order again but "printer is broken" thing may happen again. She did not tell me the printer was fixed. read more

I very rarely leave a yelp review. However, I have been coming to this specific CVS pharmacy for multiple years despite moving around. They are the most efficient and helpful and kind of any CVS pharmacy I've been to. They will do the best they can to help you. I intend to keep coming here even if I move even farther away. read more

I had a prescription filled here on Friday and the line was so long but it was really nice to see that even the pharmacist was assisting people and helping people be on their way! If I could give this place a tenth of a star, I would! First they messed up my prescription, by telling me several tmes they never recieved the prescription from the doctor, when in fact it was sent immediatly, and they had it all along!! Constantly bothering my busy doctor for no reason other than an incompetent pharmacy is inexcusable to me. You think I would learn my lesson, and never go back, however I made the mistake of going back. I bought a 2 pak of disposable cameras that were on sale for $12.99. When I got home, I noticed on the reciept that I was charged $26, so I went back, again! The manager immediatly told me I must have grabbed it off the wrong hook, did not even off to check. When I told hiim I was positive I grabbed it from the right hook, and read the label, as I always do, he rolled his eyes, and grdgingly agreed to go check with me. What do you know? I was right, so he gave me a refund. But, wait, just when you thought this ridiculousness was over, there is more.. I took the disposable camera back to the same CVS for developing. The next day, I came back and got my pictures, I paid over $20 for the pics. When I got home and opened the pictures, they were all dark and not one picture turned out. There was a message that said "Old Film Used". That would be the film that I bought from the same place 2 days prior. That whole thing cost me over $40, as I made the mistake of not keepiing my receipt. Lesson Learned! CVS (at least this one) is the worst store on the planet, unofficially! If they replaced the workers with monkeys, maybe they would show some improvement. read more

This is a pretty nice Long's. We went in today, after dining at Old Siam right next door. I like how all the shelves are shorter than the other places. I hate really high shelves because I think it makes everything look cluttered. They had a pretty big sign pointing out their wide range of Asian food products, but it was just a couple of shelves. It was cute, though. The cashiers were really nice and opened a new register as soon as they saw a long line starting to form. Overall, a good experience. read more

Review for the pharmacy: 1 star for the overall CVS pharmacy department, who forgot to fax my doctor the refill request and delayed my medicine by one day. 5 stars for Tom (and manager Kavita) who were awesome in helping resolve the issue and made sure to at least get me my medicine before the long weekend! I have only shopped at the two CVS in Sunnyvale. I have to laugh. CVS doesn't have sales like 2 for 10.00. They have one at regular price get second for 50% off, but there is only one on the shelf. Their stock levers make it seem like they have money problems because there are so many items that empty. The prices are so much higher then the major retailers. read more

I always go to this Longs to get pictures developed etc. The young man in the camera dept is really good with customers. He takes time to assist you and he explains things in a way that you can understand. The service is fast and professional. All of the employees are helpfull and friendly. Always a wait at this store even when the ever-disinterested employees appear to be doing nothing in a mostly empty store. Went in today to get a new prescription filled, waited almost 20 minutes just to be acknowledged at the pharmacy counter (there was me and one other customer but three pharmacy employees). Told me that they didn't have enough of my new med to fill the order and sent me to another CVS. Turns out that the doctor had written the script for a 3 mo supply but the insurance only covered a month at a time. The employee at the Cala Center CVS could have checked the prescription against the insurance but was too lazy to bother and sent me away when they could have in fact filled the prescription. So, between my useless trip to the Cala Center CVS, the trip to the CVS they sent me to and waiting there for pickup, it took me two hours to fill one prescription. There are lazy and passive-aggressive employees at this CVS store, I'm taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Prescriptions called in 2 hours+ prior aren't filled yet, lines are super long and only one person working the counter, and the staff is super clueless. In incredible pain due to a root canal infection and they kept me waiting another hour to fill my prescription. Never coming back. read more

I've been a patron at Long's for a long time. Good thing they are open 24 hours at this location. If I am bored and looking for some canned foods or just want to browse around and waste my money on things I probably use this is the place to go. Massive parking so no need to rush. I can take my time and enjoy browsing through the isles. read more

Worst people I've ever dealt with. Wouldn't check TO drew if they take my insurance after driving all the way from the other side of town. The middle eastern woman was very nice and kind but the rest dint car about their patients as i told them it was my first day on the job I can't be late. I have been a CVS customer for many years, and I am quite disappointed with this one. I have printed photos through CVS multiple times and always received beautiful prints. Unfortunately, today was a different experience. I arrived after receiving an email letting me know that my prints were ready. They couldn't locate them, so needed to reprint. Not a huge deal (mistakes happen) and I had other shopping to do anyway. After receiving the prints, I realized that they were extremely poor quality. They were very grainy, many of them had lines across the faces of those in the photo, and in some, the people were almost unrecognizable. I returned to see if it was possible to reprint. The manager was incredibly rude. He cut me off multiple times mid-sentence and kept repeating that there was nothing he could do. I am not going to return and recommend that if you would like to print photos, that you do it elsewhere. read more

They regularly screw up my prescriptions. The staff is rude and do not care abt asking for medication options like adding some flavor when i took antibiotic medicine for 3 yr old daughter. And then i went again asking them to add flavor (strawberry, as without that it was impossible to feed that antibiotic to my daughter) they changed me again for adding flavor. So i ended by paying for the goof up by the pharmacist. read more

My experience has been the same as many of the other posts. I've been going here since it was Long's, and my visits to this store have become more and more frustrating. Rarely have sale items in stock, the front doors/windows/store are filthy IMHO, employees do not know what customer service is, and the pharmacy really, really needs new personnel! Specifically, the pharmacist assistant is totally clueless and off in mental la-la land somewhere. I switched from Kaiser a couple of months ago, so this process of actually going to a retail drugstore is new to me. I've had to go in 3-4 times for each prescription, even AFTER waiting 5-7 days from when I watched the doctor send it to this pharmacy. I've moved as much as possible over to mail order, and will be trying Walgreen's for any prescriptions that need to be picked up in the future. read more

This review is for the pharmacy, which is terrible. 90% of the time they are "out of stock" of very common prescriptions (including antibiotics and antivirals) and will ask you to wait 1-2 days for them to order it - not helpful if you have an active infection and would like to start treatment right away. In addition, they tell you that your Rx will be ready in "20-30 minutes" and it is NEVER ready after the designated time. The pharmacists themselves are nice enough, but they often seem disorganized and confused. read more

I walked into CVS for some ibuprofen and then remembered that I needed a passport photo. I asked the young kid behind the register and he was very helpful. Once the photo was taken he was having difficultly printing the image. He kept trying to call his manager over to help and she kept ignoring him. So me, I walked over to her register and asked nicely if she could help. Instantly she snapped back 'in fact I can't help you! My store manager comes in at 1:30 and I need to wait for him to figure out what's wrong with the camera!' I was so shocked by her attitude with me that I just walked away not even giving her the satisfaction that she was yelling at me...WTH! Thanks Kim for all your hard work. You shouldn't be in a customer service position. You're a horrible person and should be ashamed of yourself. I'm not upset about the picture or the camera. I was there last night and saw mold growing on all the racks holding milk for sale. I showed it to the manager and sales staff and he says they know about it. Always had a pleasant experience at the pharmacy. In and out fairly quickly even when I haven't called the prescription in. Never had the issue of needing something they didn't have but I only go in for simple things. I've never found the staff to be inefficient or rude. It's human to make mistakes sometimes. It's not the end of the world if you wait 20 minutes one day because it's busy or there was a mistake of some sort. People are not computers. The only draw back is the pharmacy hours on Sunday. They open from 10-6. They should be open as long as the store is; considering it is called CVS Pharmacy. read more

This used to me a nice store. Lately however, it's hard to find what you need (they don't even carry ice cream anymore!), lines are long and now the pharmacy closes early, with no warning to customers (in fact the web site has yet to be updated.). I have been shopping at this longs more than any other. Whenever I go in they are very helpfull and courteous and seem to always try to help with a smile . Being a business owner myself I have noticed a real decline in customer service almost everywhere and it seems like they are well trained to help the puplic. read more
