I have nothing but great things to say about CW Mechanical and their team. This is how it all started with the wonderful group at CW Mechanical. I moved into my home in Jan 2021, and I was already having problems with my a/c and heating unit. Nothing ever got resolved when I utilized my home warranty to fix my old unfaithful unit. It seemed as if nothing was covered, and I was charged enormous fees to repair the unit. I stopped dealing with my home warranty and tried a few different a/c mechanical companies. They were just as bad as the warranty providers. Thats when I stumbled on to CW Mechanical. These guys were great; they kept that unit running great until it died. When it came time for a new unit, David, the owner was great. He made sure that I got a suitable unit installed. Failed inspection, lied about pulling permit, just scheduled the follow up inspection myself First, the initial response from David was great. He gave me a super competitive price for an American Standard system over messages, and then contacted me directly related to getting the HVAC replacement done. He even arranged for the upstairs unit to be installed ahead of time so that we were not without AC. This was all great. Second, the installation personnel were very nice and professional. Thereafter, it was all downhill. David told me that he misquoted the price on the furnace and needed to charge $2000 more. I didn't really care and just wanted it done, but this was the first red flag. Thereafter, he kept telling me that CW had pulled the permit. I know how to check it, link below, so that was a lie. I also know that you can just pull a permit for an emergency replacement online, so I caught them in another lie. After going through all the BS, CW finally applied for a permit and scheduled an inspection. As to the first inspection, they did not tell me when the inspector was coming out, so we missed that one. The second time, the inspector was there, CW did not show up, and he failed it because the installers did not properly glue the gas vent from the furnace together. He told me that he just pulled on it, and it fell apart. Finally, he said that CW didn't install the right breakers for the new AC units. I talked to David. It took forever to get them to come out and fix it and install the promised Nest Thermostat. Thereafter, we tried to schedule another inspection. CW gave me a date and time where no inspector showed up. I followed up without a response. I ended up just calling the County and scheduling the permit inspection myself ((702) 455-8040). All in all, the prices are very good, the equipment is top notch, and the initial installation of the AC unit was amazing, but the inspection failure and the misinformation about the permits was unacceptable. No words to explain how great my experience was. Ask for Ben he did such a superb job on my unit. I did receive lower quotes from other companies but this was the only one that would include and do everything as well as come right on call. The most important thing especially during the summer is that they come right away and the service was great as well as fixing a few extra parts for me which I really appreciate and didn't even notice as he saved me from more expenses in the future. These guys are amazing. I have elderly parents living in Las Vegas and their AC unit went out. Unfortunately, it was one of the hottest times of the week in the middle of summer. My father has a heart condition that would have put him in a very dire situation. David and team understood the urgency of the issue and went out to look at the problem even though they were very busy themselves. They made the effort to come out the SAME day. When they arrived and before assessing the problem, David first made sure that my parents were comfortable and that they weren't suffering from the heat. Once he insured that they were ok, he began to work on the unit. The condenser unit needed to be replaced and David was able to source one for the very next day. He replaced it quickly and tested to make sure that it was working correctly. I should add that my dad tried to call another AC company and they quoted him $13K to 'repair' his AC. When my dad responded in shock, they said he'd do it for $9K. I hope I find the name of this company so I can let you all know. This is the worst example of someone taking advantage of the elderly in a very desperate situation. read more

I have used many professional services in the past, many of which were good. However, Dave and his team were truly exceptional here and beyond all expectations, both time-wise, service-wise, and finance-wise. We had a major issue air conditioning-wise that needed immediate attention. He was there very quickly, and was able to diagnose the situation instantly. What a relief! I was really hoping to like this company.After talking with there ac guy I was disappointed.They were way over priced.They wanted to charge me 810 for a filter rake which cost 20 bucks at lowes.They didn't give me any other options.The ac guy also had a attitude.He tried to tell me I have a coil underneath so I looked and there is no coil underneath.I was also told my coils are to big for my system not sure how he would know that.He wanted to charge 1337 dollars for a coil cleaning.My condensation pump works just fine and he wanted to replace it.He also never went up on my roof to check the air conditioner.He didn't open up my system in my house to look at my coils. read more

When it's hot as hell you don't want to talk to someone when your AC is hot you want results and help. Reynaldo is amazing he diagnosed my problem instantly. He basically walked me through the things he could fix without coming out. This service probably caused him $75-100, but helped me greatly. He did let me know that even though it might resolve my problem temporarily I still need someone to come look at my unit. That's when he let me know he could have a tech at my house today at 6. Anyone who has had their AC go out in July in Vegas knows how stressful and terrible that experience can be. Happened to me last night (fortunately at night) and I Yelped a few businesses to get fixed. My AC stopped working on a Monday evening during the hottest days of summer. It was 115 during the day. A technician came out the next morning. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a burned out capacitor and I had air in minutes. He recommended replacing the fan motor which I was happy to have replaced. He came the next day and despite difficulties with a stuck blade he got my unit fixed up and running like new. When I need to replace my old system I will definitely go with this company.
