Super nice guys easy to talk to but when it comes to knowledge of merchandise and salesmanship I was thoroughly disappointed and angry. I went in to take a look at chest protectors for next season. Stumbling upon their "armor" section I was met by the salesman who proceeded to sell me a motorcross vests. Once I explained I was looking for chest protection to go under my track suit his face took on a "ohh sh*t this guy knows what he's talking about" look. I really don't appreciate those sales tactics. I walked in expecting sub-par. I got above exceeds-average!!! The guy who helped me was awesome. Helped me find pants and a cover for my bike. The discounts were ridiculous. I saved over 200 dollars! Their "7 Day No Hassle Helmet Return" is awesome. I originally went in their looking for a Shoei, but the guy I talked to ended up selling me an Arai RX-Q. I liked it (comfort, air flow, fit), but it was so loud at speeds over 55 mph and not a good fit for my ride. I was nervous about bringing it back, since I had ridden quite a bit in it, but Neal was very friendly and quickly began showing me other options. He apologized that I was originally steered in the wrong direction, and gave me a quick rundown of the Shoei Qwest and GT Air. Unfortunately, they didn't have the color I wanted in a new box. I ended up having to take the display Shoei on their shelf. That combined with a little higher of a price (compared to Revzilla) is why I gave them 4 stars. Other than that, I would definitely recommend shopping for motorcycle gear here (especially helmets). read more

Not sure how a small store packet to the gills makes it a great store with a lot of selections (of the same stuff, over and over and over) . Not a whole lotta selections on gear, popular sizes are few and far between. This is not a bad store but let's not make it the size of a big box store. It's in a strip mall is that explains it. That being said, I did find pants (one pair my size in stock) and a heads up that I dig. The salesperson I dealt with is WHY to over the top for me. Some people (my wife)enjoy the attention, not me. Would have liked to purchase a helmet but had to get away from the salesperson. And no you don't need to read me your company motto, and no I don't have time to go through every catalogue. I was one of 3 people in the store but couldnt even so much as get an acknowledgement i was alive. I found the gloves i needed and waited another 15 min for a cashier. She was the only one who was even remotely friendly. I put back the things i didnt absolutely need and ordered them on rev zilla. WHAT? I went in looking for a helmet, winter gloves and riding pants. The store is packed with items and you can hardly move in there; I was for sure I would find what I wanted. Riding pants are junk- not contoured to fit a moving body part and poor material quality. The winter gloves were mostly bilt- inside of their winter gloves is a plastic trash bag type of material between the fleece and top layer. I saw that they had women's boots, well mine are 3 yrs old and beat up so i looked around but none are my size and they only have about 10 different pairs. I inguired about helmets and the guy had me grab mine to compare and he almost broke the visor off because he just pulled it out without trying to unlock it nor did he ask if he could take it off and slide it out. Like wtf. He said he couldn't help me with it but if I come back another time he could help me. I also bought a bag that was suppose to be on sale but the cashier didn't respond when I asked so I took it home anyways. Still frustrated about the not so sale price of the bag I took it back 5 days later. A different guy addressed me and the other guy wasn't there that I saw, thank goodness! He proceeded to tell me that it has to have been purchased within the last 30 days and I said yes; btw it doesn't say that on the receipt and no one told me when I was buying my items. He then wanted the card that I purchased them on and I said it was at home which is also not stated on the receipt; I guess they have an old system and need the card to put money back on it. He gave me my money back on my debt card. I was uneasy about using my debt card at a store like this one. I do not recommend this store's product or the horrible customer service. read more

Good place to shop for bike gear. Has pretty much everything you need and if it doesnt have it in store you can most likely find it on their online website and have it ordered. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and always there to help if you need it. read more

Cycle Gear overall does a good job. They are in the tough position of trying to please all segments of motorcycling, which is a challenge in itself. I've had very good luck with customer service and enjoy that I have them near by.......where else are you going to go? Selection is good (most of the time) and they can order things in quickly. I've had good luck ordering on-line from them as well. They have always done right by me and will continue to frequent! read more

Went to this store location yesterday evening for very FIRST TIME looking to buy a helmet . I am newbie and planning to start Riding from next season. Staff at the time was friendly and came over to help me choose the helmet and answer any questions i had. I picked up one specific model and was told that for same price there are 2 different colors. Store Associate looked for the right size helmet and i tried it on and liked it. So whole process was good for 15 mins. I walked around the store to check what merchandise they carry and then stopped at the counter to pay. I provided all the info. they requested and when they ring the box the helmet was coming up at higher price then advertised and whatever the staff told me . Staff was on his system checking and after 10 mins of checking told me that he can not sell me that specific helmet for the price that he informed me first hand. I was like okay and can i buy different color then and yeah they were out of the size that fits me. I kindly requested the store associate to honor the price and got NO in reply. So spent close to 40 mins in store and came walking out empty handed and disappointed. I don't think i will ever go to this store again or would recommend to anyone. Thanks read more

If your looking for low cost cheap equipment bilt gear this is your store tons of low quality junk, .most of the decent brand name moto wear fox alpine start etc is slim picking and all over priced if you want to pay retail then this is your place if not try your gear on here and find a better deal online...none of the good stuff is ever at a discount they just push the cheap bilt equipment very disappointed. read more

I agree with Keith K. We went into this store looking for race apparel and the salesman just stood over us and would move when we would move. It was very awkward! It would be different if he was having a conversation with us or even remotely interested why we were in there but he wasn't...just very quiet and staring at us from 5 feet away. read more

I have been here twice just recently - to buy a helmet and then back to buy some extra visors and a pair of gloves. Each time with a different salesperson, and both were positive experiences. The people are friendly and knowledgeable and I was happy with the selections on hand. They have a wide selection of helmets. It's not a very big store, but it's pretty well packed with gear. The prices are pretty reasonable too. read more

I was going to buy from them online, but discovered they had a real store not too far away. Perfect for making sure you get a good fit on clothing, but make sure you know the internet price when you go in there. read more
