So anyway, I purchased my first motorcycle here at Paulding cycles many many moons ago, it was a smooth process. Nothing different from any other sales transaction. The reason for the poor review because when needed to get repairs done to the tank of my motorcycle, I got the run around on when to bring it in, when the technician was going to be there yada yada yada!! My tank was eventually dropped off, for about a week and a half, I haven't heard back from them regarding the status or for a diagnostic or anything. I eventually called and was asked to come in. When I got there, I saw my tank was still sitting in the same spot it was sitting when it was dropped off more than a week ago. I took my tank with me and left! I felt it was never looked at and that the explanation I was given the day I showed up was a guesstimate on the possible problem. I was not feeling that at all.

I took a risk going here and I'm glad I did. They gave me a fair price and worked with me on my budget. They did the work in a timely fashion and even stored the bike for a few days because I couldn't pick it up right away. The greatest part about my experience is when I brought my bike in, there was a crack near the indicator. When I got the bike back the crack was a fixed. I didn't ask them to fix it and only noticed it was fixed when I got home. They went above and beyond my expectations and I don't think I will ever take my bike anywhere else after this experience.

Go figure so I drop it off tell em to check the valves and clean the carb/and jet it properly. I knew I had no rear brakes (and my front brake needed to be changed) long story short. (He performed an oil change/greased the fittings/fixed my shifter assembly (the main reason I was there) and never gave him (Cory) "BIG GOONIE "hey you guyyyyssss" look-a-like mf to do any other work except the carb/valves because they were too tight. Granted at one point they DO Do MAGNIFICENT WORK. I MEAN they've BEEN OPEN OVER 30- semi years so I get a call from this big cockeyed hillbilly that says it's done. OKAY. I ATTEMPT TO PAY OVER THE PHONE I was like why not? No answer that made sense. So I go down there. Oh they cardholders gotta be present-sorry? WHAAAT? It's a credit card. Smh. Anyway so now today I will be picking it up with the cardholder because unfortunately I have too many toys and not enough money and ESPECIALLY NOT 3,000$$$I could've gotten a 660r in better condition or even a banshee for what I paid. 1,800 for the bike snd 3k for maintenance. Cmon. Smh PLEASE EITHER GO TO (MOTORCYCLE MALL IN BELLEVILLE,NJ) THEYRE THE BEST. The bike shop is under an auto shop/state inspection garage (you can get your state inspection sticker added to service appt) on the corner of Washington & Warburton. About as easy as the Manhattan-Brooklyn ride with little traffic and a much nicer ride along the river. John was responsive on email and got me estimates within a day. Got new tires, fork seals, oil and brake fluid, chain and sprockets. Asked about major bearing clean/lube (headstock, swingarm, hubs) but John put the bike up and reported no play, noise or stiction. On the other hand although my tires had some tread left he caught some early warnings of dry rot. State inspection sticker was added on. Rates are fair, parts and tires shipped overnight and he stuck to the schedule and estimate. CC payment easy through a link in the estimate email. Seems to know Triumphs well, saw Japanese and Euro bikes in the shop. Happy with the service and quality of work at CycleLove.

Small shop that's big on communication and transparency. John is a super chill mechanic who is responsive, honest and efficient. Slip on and regular maintenance job was done right for a fair price and no pretense. John's mellowed out demeanor makes it stress-free ... a real testament to the art and zen of motorcycle maintenance. Will be back for sure.

He's slick talking and he's always 'giving you a deal'. I had a small throttle cable issue on my 03 Bonneville that only required taking the tank off and adjusting the position of the cable. I couldn't do it myself because I didn't have the tools to do it. Sean said they'd knock it out real quick and 'give me a deal'. When he handed me a bill for $280 I reluctantly paid that knowing I'd probably never come back there again. Also, next time I went to take my seat off, noticed that both stock Triumph seat bolts were gone and they just threw on 2 different bolts that weren't even the same length. I did buy brake pads from them once and they didn't over charge for those. I did the brake pad replacement myself tho... So maybe, if you need parts, see what they've got but don't have them touch your bike. Don't get your bike inspected there either. They'll charge you double what it costs

This is an update to my May 2, 2024 Review:…read more At length, about six months after HMS sold my Kymco scooter, I finally heard back from the business: a settlement check - with a letter of apology for the failure to notify me of the sale, and my share of the proceeds. My share was about 25% of the proceeds from the sale. I regarded the settlement as perfectly unfair, and returned the check to HMS - with a letter that detailed my complaint. Again, months passed - awaiting any response. At length, HMS readily agreed to a revised settlement. Yet again, months elapsed until I received a new settlement check - with another letter of profuse apology for the delay. None of this would have occurred without my persistent effort to contact HMS - for information updates regarding the sale of the scooter. My year of contact with HMS leaves the impression of business practice that is almost unimaginably scattered and disorganized. I do not know why HMS appears to be so overwhelmed with routine business tasks. Still, I do not believe that HMS is engaged in any kind of deceptive business practice. Let's hope matters will improve at HMS. Meanwhile, customers would do well to expect the unexpected.
