His wife, Angie, works the front and is also very knowledgeable, but why wouldn't she be? Her hubby is the head guy. Together they will explain your problem, break it down until you understand, explain the charges in detail and allow you to make a decision, without pressuring you. They're a lovely duo. They've found a permanent customer in me.

Tremont Ave store in the Bronx (which was actually closer to my destination on this trip); I decided to take a detour off 95 to the New Rochelle store instead. The staff at New Rochelle location was very professional, from the counter service, to testing my battery, to installing a new car battery (and it was freezing cold outside). Happy I made the detour. I have been to other Advance Auto Parts stores in NJ, this one was the best so far to patronize. A few days before the store visit, I had called the customer service #800 because my Die Hard Battery kept dying, with the receipt, & still "within the warranty window", customer serv said, any location will honor the warranty. I was happy to hear that.
