Lets start off with the positive. The cheesesteaks are good. Not really a fan of cheesecake so I've never tried it. The fries have a tasty seasoned salt tossed on them. Chicken strips are good as well. And the drinks have free refills @ dine in. My favorite place to go for a delicious Philly cheesesteak. They are always delicious and worth the inconvenient parking lot. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. They cook the cheesesteaks to order and they are fast. The fries taste amazing also. I don't know what seasoning they use but it is perfect. The chesecake is scoopable and creamy. So I'm here in the area just visiting for work and a coworker recommended this. So I ordered some cheese ranch fries and a chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake and some other meals for the office. They delivered it to the office, their min is $15. The delivery driver was very nice and personable. I took a bite of my cheesecake and WHAM! My eyes were opened and I could see color! My friend and I couldn't remember if it was create your own cheesecake or cheesesteak and were pleasantly surprised to see it was both. I got a chance to stop into CYOC after reading the great reviews on Yelp. The reviews were spot on, great food and great service. It is in a nondescript strip mall and easy to miss if you aren't looking. You wouldn't necessarily know it from the name but they specialize in Philly Cheese steaks in addition to the Cheesecake for dessert. I've had Pat's steaks in Philly a number of times and these compare favorably. The steaks are moist and tender, along with the seasoned mayo have a very good flavor. They also have a whole menu of chicken "steak" sandwiches but I didn't get a chance to try them. The prices were about six or seven dollars for a steak sandwich, not cheap but pretty good for the quality. The cheesecake is served almost like ice cream. There is a cooler with bins of probably 10 or 15 different types of cheesecake which are scooped into a cup and then you have the option of additional mix-ins or toppings. We tried samples of several of the cheesecakes and they were all excellent. They put graham crackers in the bottom of the cup and then scoop the cheesecake on top. We ended up getting strawberry, chocolate and cherry and all were very good. While we were eating the owner went around to the tables handing out samples of their new fried macaroni and cheese bites. They are pretty spicy and very good. We ended up talking to Josh, the owner, for a while and he was very nice. He really seems to have a good concept and I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot more of these in the future. I've been trying to come up with some things that I didn't like but honestly can't think of much. The only downside is that the combined calorie and fat count of a cheese steak and cheesecake will limit this only to an occasional splurge. read more

Enjoyed the food and the staff was very friendly. I had a chicken version (think it was the California); I typically get any sauce on the side; thus I did not have a problem with too much mayo or ranch sauce (as some other reviewers mentioned). TL;DR - super casual, budget friendly, recommend the cheesecake scoops only. The worst part was the nachos. They were smothered in fake cheeses, and they tasted like death. I didn't try the cheesesteaks. The cheesecake scoops are pretty big, probably about 1.5 - 2 cups in volume, and were tasty, with a variety of flavors (chocolate, red velvet, cookie dough, peppermint, original, and others). The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere lacked pretense. Pricing was budget friendly - about $4 for a single cheesecake scoop. I went there for my first time and was so grossed out by the lack of cleanliness that I chose not to eat. The floors were so sticky that I felt like if I had wearing flip flops, they would've come off. Plus, the restroom was out of order. CYOC has become an obsession of mine, my co-workers, and friends since it opened! The food is great and the service is always friendly and inviting. They cook everything right in front of you and, trust me, there's plenty to fill you up. It's definitely worth every penny. The owner himself will be there and offer samples of new menu items to promote them. I recommend the Steak & Eggs Philly, (with the egg over-easy) and the Buffalo Chicken Philly. They're both amazing! And the pineapple upside down cheesecake is a must if you haven't tried it yet. Bottom line: Great food, great service, great place to eat! read more

We had to try this place as my hubby just adores cheesecakes. The cheesecakes were nothing to brag about as I've had better and he was really disappointed. The cost is extremely toooo high for the amount that is given so I really would like to give them a two star. The cheesesteaks were bland, not seasoned at all. Another disappointment! Fries were over cooked. The sauce for cheesesteak did not help either. Again too pricey for the taste. Maybe we were paying for the packaging. The inside looked a bit raggedy but we overlooked that because a lot of times good food comes from places that focus more on cooking. NOT!! They seem to miss their focus! This is one spot we will not be visiting again or even recommend. Not sure what these other reviewers ate but I guess we ate on an off day and that should not be the case. Yuck! read more

My daughter and I went to CYOC today and had the King Philly Steak & Chicken and the Chicken Philly. The King Philly was more superior than the Chicken Philly. The King Philly had great taste and dripped more in taste and juicy goodness. Some would call the drippings oil/grease but I call that flavor. Don't get me wrong, the Chicken Philly was good but the King Philly were better. The French fries were ok as well. My only complaints about the place is that it needed to be a little more cleaner, the music was too loud. The bathroom was clean and updated. We found this place on Yelp while spending the day at Six Flags and popped by for lunch. The service and food here was EXCEPTIONAL! Everyone working was so attentive and personable and friendly. Everyone working seemed very interested and asked us if we had been there before and where we had heard about them.
