First time we had been to a Jersey Mike's sub shop. It was impressive. Not only the food but also the two guys working in there. They wee both friendly and very professional. Also they were really fast. The place was very neat and clean. The food was outstanding. We tried several different subs and they were all good. Also the Philly cheese steak sandwiches were the best I had had in years. They have a cherry pepper relish that is awesome. Our whole group ate there twice this weekend and then because it was so good we stopped at one on the way home in Dallas on Inwood and ate again, it was just as good. Got some to go for a family member to try that had not been with us. Highly reccomend. read more

I went in on Nov 18,22 at approximately 820p. This store in Waukegan closes at 9p. I was on my break from work and wanted to feed my family. As soon as I walked in the young lady looked as she was annoyed I walked in. I understand you're close to closing but it's enough time. As I asked for 5 sandwiches as I ALWAYS order as a frequent customer, she told me they weren't serving hot sandwiches because their fridge hasn't worked all day. Didn't make sense! Ultimately she didn't want to make my sandwiches so i left and noticed her and 2 other staff just go to the back to hang out as they sat on the counter in plain sight. I love Jersey Mike's! I went in to an almost empty store. Had to wait several minutes to order. Then they made my sandwich but didn't wrap it as they went to make another sandwich. I asked them to cut it into thirds but the cut it in half. Then cut it into fifths. I asked to put my points number in and was told I couldn't do it because I needed to do it before I paid. Sandwiches are great, but avoid online ordering. I tried to order online a few months ago, and when I arrived for my food right on time, they hadn't even started to make my order and claimed they got "busy" even through there were only a few people in the store. So after my first experience they gave me a coupon for a free sub which I still have but can't use for online orders, so oh well. I place my order at 5:45, app says to pick up at 6:05. I arrive right at 6:05 and low and behold there's no one in the store and they haven't started my order... again. So I waited in the lobby until 6:20 for my order and a "sorry, we got busy" excuse again. If I wanted to wait 15 min for my food I would've ordered at the store and used my free sandwich coupon from the last time they screwed up, but I had company showing up at 6:30 and figured an online order would be more efficient. I'm not sure I'll dine at this location again, which is sad since it's close and they have gluten free bread for my wife, but guess I'll keep going to the Libertyville location when I want a decent sub. read more

This is not the first Jersey Mike's that I have visited however this one is my favorite. I ordered a different sandwich then what I usually order and I must say that they make a good rueben. The restaurant is very clean but what I believe sets it apart is the service. The staff was amazing and I must say that the GM, Desiree did a great job with her people. I have been coming here for FOREVER, for one reason, cause of how amazing the staff is. However, tonight's experience changed my entire view and I will NEVER go back to this Jersey Mike's. The worker named "Precious" treated me with such rude, impolite, disrespect and we waited there for about 25 minutes to get our service completed with no one in line because she didn't like how I asked for a few mustard oacketsafter she had already bagged my sandwich. She said "the professional way to ask if when your sandwich is being made, now you'll have to wait until i'm done helping these other people if you have to your packet of mustard". After I was getting ready to leave she said she hopes I never come back to this location again. It made me so upset I lost my appetite.
