I should have known it was a mistake to drop my stuff off here when I first walked in. No pricing anywhere, on the slip they give you there was nothing checked as to what I was dropping off/pricing for each item, nothing verbally communicated as to an expected price. All this was intentional and deliberate. The items brought in were 3 t-shirts, 1 polo, 1 button down , and 2 shorts. It cost me 51 dollars for 7 ITEMS. That is an absolute JOKE. Did they spray my items with gold dust to make it worth it? Not even. Avoid at all costs or it will cost you an arm or a leg to get whatever you need done here. When I asked why it was so expensive, they couldn't even give me a breakdown of the pricing or justify why it was almost 7.5 per item. I get the "green/eco friendly" slant but the pricing here is absolutely ridiculous. I usually go to another one down the street and it has been consistently good service and very fair/upfront pricing (daylight cleaner). Go there if you need dry-cleaning done, not this place to get fleeced upon arrival. read more

My experience is with altering my military uniform. I called before hand to see if they would be able to add on some patches according to mil regulations (blouse and cap) which they said they did all the time and it would be doable. I dropped off my uniform and was told that it would be available for pick up after the weekend. I paid for service in advance. It was about $65 for 7 patches. When I went to pick up my items, I found that my cap rank patch was sewn upside down and the stitching itself was very poor. The seamstress also forgot to sew my zipper stitch which she had to undo to place my chest rank. The workmanship overall was very poor. Stitches weren't straight, noticeable and crooked backstitching, etc. I actually brought the issues to their attention after the fact of picking up my items and was told to bring it back, which I did. Upon pickup #2, I noticed that my patches were unaligned and uneven in terms of placement. So they asked if I could leave it there and pick up another day again. Despite leaving my articles there for an additional week, the end result was still subpar, workmanship looked like it was rushed or probably by someone who is a beginner sewer at most. All in all, I probably wouldn't get anything altered there. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 2017 25/100 I have a ton of clothes that I need dry cleaned. I just tried to call this place because it's near my house. I was told by the lady who answered the phone that the owners are gone for the weekend and she can't give me any prices, even if I come into the store. I asked her how much she would be charging people if they drop off their clothes today. She said that you just have to drop off and then get the price when you pick up. This makes absolutely no sense to me and I would never drop off dry cleaning if I don't know what the prices are. I'm not really sure that I believe what she's saying, but I'm not going to lug all my clothes there to find out what price she'll magically decide on. This is the first time I've ever left a bad review for a place I've never even visited, but why would you leave someone to man the store who doesn't know anything? I had to get my sons band uniform cleaned, and of course he needed it done same day. I took it here, because that's the place the school takes them to after the year is over. Let me say how impressed I was with the service and prices were great too. I also took a pair of pants that needed to be cleaned and repaired. This place has gone through owner and name changes. They were formerly known as Cypress Plaza Cleaners. I had heard that the previous owners did not do a particularly great job so I was reluctant about the new owners. But these people provide an excellent personal service. I've never needed "same day" or "overnight" service, but when I was there a couple of weeks ago in the mid-afternoon, a woman came in and said she needed something the following morning. The owners said "OK". Their prices are reasonable, too. Their sign says they will pick up and deliver. They don't use the normal dry cleaning process which I've learned is environmentally toxic. Instead, they use a "wet cleaning" process that is just as good as the traditional methods. Using this cleaners means you get good and friendly service, quality cleaning, and you protect the environment. read more

I am a first time (and last time) customer. I dropped off my four blouses and a dress on Monday and was told to pick them up on Thursday after 3:00. It was a pretty expensive bill, about $28.00, for four blouses and one dress. And this price was after the "15% first-time customer" discount. Yikes. I arrived to pick up my clothes on Thursday, after 4:30. They took a few minutes to locate my clothes. I watched two of the workers explore the back of the room in effort to find my items. A few minutes later, I was told that "one of my blouses had a stain on it" and it wasn't ready. I asked which blouse and that I did not have a stain on any of my blouses. I was told that my white blouse had a stain on it. I asked where they found this stain and stressed that, again, there was no stain on that blouse. What a frustrating thing to hear. The worker replied, "We are still working on it. Can you come back tomorrow?" He then offered to drop off my blouse to me tonight. I was not comfortable with that solution. I said that I would be back tonight to get my blouse. I think that the cleaners just made an excuse to stall. I don't think they finished dry cleaning all of my clothes, even after three days. Horrible Horrible! My American Apparel Disco Pants were raped by the owner when I asked for a new zipper. These pants will never be the same happy, shiny, pants I loved! He didn't tell me that there would be countless thread coming out and new stitching and holes where the old stitching was. If you're not familiar with these pants, they are $92! It also has a thick material comprised of 90% Nylon and 10% Elastic. Oddly, he put two safety pins on the waist area to hang it up on the hangar! Now, there are four welts on the waist area. They're high waisted and shiny so you can see every detail. He also unnecessarily created new thread lines on the top hem and zipper area. Now there are holes where the old thread line used to be. I'm going to wash these pants and hope that the welts are gone and see if my mom can help me fix his mistakes. I just think it's sad how he didn't accommodate a lower price for his misdeed and was defensive when I brought up the issues. He also budged when I asked him if I can come back if the zipper doesn't work right in a couple of days. I'm very upset because he doesn't have the customer's best interest at heart. He could have told me that he would make extra thread lines, but he knew he isn't capable of fine craftsmanship. I will never make the mistake again of not going to my usual guy who works at the Shoe Repair right across. He owns a cleaners in Buena Park and he does an exceptional job and gives great customer service every time. It's just sad that the owner needs to make money this way. BEWARE, don't trust him to sew. Also, he is a one man shop! He is over his head with the work. He has no commitment to his customer service. Even my step-dad said he smear the stains he was trying to take out on his $100 Tommy Bahama shirts. This guy should be sued on Judge Judy and taken over by a person who is dedicated to making customers happy. I am not a happy customer and I will tell all of my friends and family to never come to this place. Now, I will put this out of my head and have a great holiday. Ugh! read more

I consider myself to be environmentally friendly. That's why I was excited when I found out that these drycleaners have "eco-friendly" drycleaning. Their website explains it as "wet-cleaning" that doesn't involve toxins or harmful cleaning agents. To me that is important. We ruin the environment enough by normal day to day things. If we can change just one simple thing (like how we do our drycleaning), maybe we can make a difference for future generations. read more

Great service and good quality! I sent a suit there for clean and the owner applied some new customer discount and welcomed me warmly. I dropped it off on Friday and got it back on Monday. The suit and pant are all clean and the stains there were all removed. They will give it back to you with some hanger and cover to bring home too. read more

Tip for consumers: Do NOT wash or attempt to remove stains!!! Bring it here and they should be able to get it out. I found this place about four years ago and when I lived near there they dry cleaned quite a few garments for me. Paid a little more and never got discounts, but overall it was good service there. Plus, I drop my shoes off at Lee's Shoe Repair across the parking lot. So for me, it was a one-stop area. Lol. I live in Chicago, IL and I got married a few months back, I trashed my wedding gown, which I regretted since I had no hope for it to look back the way it did when I first bought it. I had taken few dresses to various cleaners around my area and they have done an ok job. A friend came over from California and we were talking about my wedding gown and she said "the cleaners I go to does an outstanding job, they can make your dress look brand new." I did arrangements with my friend to take it over for me and since she is not coming back soon, the owner of the cleaners contacted me that he could mail it back if I wished. I couldn't believe it!!!!! He definitively went the extra mile to go to the post office and send it back to me. Started off well, but when I went to pick up my coat, first they couldn't find it and second when they finally found it, it wasn't done. I didn't even ask them to rush my coat. I was told to pick it up that day and I even went later then the time they told me to come. Was told 10min and they'll finish pressing so I waited. When I finally got my coat and went to my car, I noticed side pocket stains weren't removed and went back to the store the guy said he knew and pointed out more stains on the collar but if I want ALL the stains to be removed I need to leave the coat there for another day. They didn't fit quite comfortable under the arm. They literally cut out the arm pit and from the same material of the top made it bigger. Looks fantastic! This place is a must go to for alterations! Upon walking inside, my brother and I were greeted with a huge smile and exceptional service. The man at the counter was very informational when answering all of our questions. For an organic cleaners, I thought the prices were very reasonable. I've taken the same gown to another dry cleaners a couple months ago and Cypress Natural Cleaners charged me ten dollars less than what the other cleaners charged me. Looked to my fellow Yelpers because I was in desperate need of a same day dry cleaners. I was going to try another one but they had bad reviews so I elected to try this place as they had great ratings and comments from you all. I am so thankful I listened. The owner was so friendly and nice. When I called he was very nice. When I went in to drop off my clothes he told me my clothes would be ready around 4 or later. He personally called me around 230 and said "I'm just calling to let you know your clothes are ready". Talk about great customer service! Bonus, they are an organic cleaners too! I will come here from now on. The prices were a bit more than I usually pay but since I was desperate I would have paid whatever. I will come here from now on. I recently started using these cleaners because I got tired of the strong chemical stink on my clothes after taking them to traditional cleaners. Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but it is totally worth it! We have a beautiful embroidered white duvet cover that has yellowed quite a bit over the years. I get it cleaned annually, but they have never been able to get out all of the yellow. I've actually thought about replacing the cover, but have yet to find one that I love as much. So I thought I'd give it one more shot and had my husband take it to Cypress Natural Cleaners. When he picked it up the owner apologized for not being able to get it cleaner, so our expectations were low. I could not have been more shocked when we put it on the bed - it was sparkling white and looked new again! This experience alone would make me a lifelong customer, but my clothes have also come back looking and smelling great. I will never use a traditional dry cleaner again! read more
