I told her whenever (assuming the latest would be no more than a week) and then she told me it would be ready in 1.5 weeks. I was a little surprised at the time estimate and was a little worried about whether the stains would just seep in more because of the expected ready date she gave me, but I said okay anyways. 1.5 weeks past and I pick up my coat. It looks great, no stains and no smell. However, the integrity of my coat did change. My coat had piling and was no longer smooth. The cost of dry cleaning my coat was also $30, which I thought was pretty steep. I get things dry cleaned every 5 years, so I don't really know what typical pricing is for certain garments. The husband and wife that run the dry cleaners speak enough English to get by I would say. I paid in cash, I'm not sure if they take card but I would always bring cash for these small mom and pop shops.

When I returned to picked them up, the receipt attached to the dry cleaned items didn't show paid. I informed the cleaners woman and man that were there that I had prepaid. They were adamant that I hadn't. It wasn't the cost of double paying for the cleaning, but the way I was treated as if I was lying. I know I was at fault for not making sure that their records showed the paid stamp. As I left, I asked them to look at their camera footage. They said no. The whole experience was upsetting.

I dropped off the jerseys on Weds and was quoted $15 each ($30 total) + it would be done in a week. On Saturday, a woman called and asked to reconfirm my needs. She also said it would be $10 more because it was more labor intense than expected. She also asked if I was planning on using the smaller jerseys again & that there would be minimal damage. When I agreed, she said it would be done Monday. I'm fearing the worst but need the jerseys back. Come Monday, I arrive to pick it up and the young man says the system still says it is not complete. I ask him to look around and he finds the jerseys but said he didn't know if it was complete since it wasn't bagged & asked if I come back on Tuesday. We meet at a resolution for him to call the owner and she confirms they're good to go. Outside of multiple touch points of miscommunication, the actual product was exactly as I hoped. Their delivery sucks. They're never there at the time they say and their family members are only able to deliver a few days of the week at very specific times. 3. They put pleat in the slacks when they're not there and then tell me they will be difficult to remove! Then don't put pleats and creases where they don't exist. I HATE when dry cleaners put creases in stuff, we're not in the 80s. 4. Their dry cleaning sucks. I've given clothes with stains and they come back, surprise, with the same stains caked on! No one even checks the clothes. Another coat I gave without stains came back with lint all over it. 5. They ruined a very expensive designer blouse and took no accountability and started yelling that it was my fault. I told them I had a picture days before of the blouse with no holes.
