Always a great time at Cypress Tavern and this was no different. My granddaughter's first time and she loved it. We sat outside and listened to the band and watched Miss Margot dance to the music. She was the star of the place. Food as always was delicious and service was great. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you receive. The Asian calamari was awesome. The outside area is very nice and we love to sit and listen to the music on Friday and Saturday nights. Get here for a fun time. Enjoy

Our dinner party of twelve thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Cypress Tavern. Plenty of parking in a private lot. Beautiful interior with the fireplace nice and warm! Our servers were attentive and friendly. All the dishes came out hot and perfectly prepared. Our group had a wide variety from the menu so, kudos to the staff for a job well done!

SAT 1/17/26 2pm 6 adults__I chose Cypress Tavern for a late celebration Christmas luncheon with family for these reasons: (1) it was mutually convenient for us to travel to, (2) the online reviews were very good, (3) the photos (on YELP) were very inviting, (4) the menu was extensive so I was confident that everyone could find something they would enjoy. We had several glasses of wine, we had appetizers, we had French onion soup, we had pizza, we had linguine with clams, we had steak, we had tuna, we had dessert. We had so much food, we brought some home too! Kathy, our excellent server and photographer, took great care of us. It was so nice to watch the sunset on the snow as it was being plowed in the parking lot and the fire burning in their fireplace. It was like being at a ski resort restaurant after being on the slopes all day except we were the only ones there. Loved every minute! Thank you for making our afternoon so special!

Had the pleasure of stopping by Cypress after a hike nearby and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Service was friendly and food was fresh with generous portions. My friend had a cocktail that was just "ok" and a bit pricey but I found most food items on the menu were well priced. Easy parking in their lot and comfortable ambiance inside. Was told they also have live music on weekend nights. I'll be back

Best Lemon Drop Martini ever - courtesy of Dina!! This place is pretty solid but we really come here to see Alternate Groove - my favorite band!!

We've been to Cypress Tavern several times. Their food is consistently excellent. But last weekend we were very disappointed at our treatment. My wife and I are both in our late 70s. I have a difficult time climbing stairs, and it isn't possible for me to sit on bar stools or chairs at high tables. After making a reservation through Open Table, we arrived at 5:20. The restaurant was empty. We were told that the only tables were a high top table, the bar or upstairs. They were not able (or willing) to make accommodations for us at any of the conventional tables, which we were told "were reserved for the band." You can see the length of the staircase and the height of the seating they offered. It is unlikely that we'll return, at least not for dinner.

ABSOLUTELY the Best Burger I've had in a very long time. We sat with our backs to the fireplace on a very cold day with Family enjoying their "better than average" pub style menu. Casual attire ok, well stocked bar and super friendly service. Great place for a special occasion with special people.

We were greeted and shown to a wonderful seat on the patio. Outside was great and beautiful. We ordered the Greek soup, smoked Mac n cheese, and a beef gyro platter. Everything was great. Our drinks were also good. Nick served us and was an awesome waiter. Friendly and polite.

Nice outdoor and indoor eating section. Massive lunch menu, honestly kind of surprising they didn't scale back. The gyro platter was good but massive. Crab cake was pretty good as well. Grilled chicken on the salad was great and the dressing was decent. Would come back here again. Also seems like a Good spot for a happy hour.

Easy to find right off of Rt 287 and plenty of parking in the back. Avgolemono soup to start was loaded with chicken, and the soup itself was delicious (shh...better than my Mom's when I was a kid - she's now 91. Please don't tell her and break her heart). The crab cake was, no lie, ENTIRELY, made of crab. Amazing! The veggie chip appetizer was also amazing - large thin crisps, not greasy and so good! 3rd starter was their beet salad - so refreshing. If you're not a huge beet lover (I'm not) try it anyway - the earthiness of the beets are mellowed quite a bit and blend nicely with the dressing, tomatoes and feta. For dinner, I had the half-chicken meal - the chicken was excellent with a flavorful lemon sauce and perfectly buttery creamy mashed potatoes. Wow! My wife had the shrimp with pasta - shrimp were huge, sauce well balanced with the pasta and shrimp. Our friends had fish specials - one coated in pistachio and the other a healthy portion of halibut. Both were very pleased with their dishes. For dessert, the pistachio tartufo was great, and my kataifi ekmek was very delicious. Oh - and cocktails were well made. Definitely coming back to Krios! Staff is wonderful! "Krios" in Greek can mean "Main", "Dominant"...you get the idea. Proper name given this meal tonight dominated for sure! Be sure to give them a try !!

The menu is incredibly diverse, offering an excellent selection of pasta, seafood, chicken, and steak. The food is beautifully prepared. The lemon lobster ravioli was cooked to perfection with an outrageously delicious, perfectly balanced zesty lemon flavor. Even better was the Tartufo Risotto with black truffle--the rich flavor profile was incredible and prepared flawlessly. For dessert, the homemade pistachio cheesecake was decadent, velvety smooth, and packed with creamy flavor. We also loved the extra special Banana Strawberry Flambé, which was prepared tableside right in the intimate dining room for everyone to see! Our service team, led by Blendi, was on top of everything. They were incredibly attentive, accommodating, and welcoming. With great food, sharp service, and very decent pricing, this restaurant is highly recommended. It is an easy 5-minute drive right off Route 287. There is a small parking lot in the rear, plus plenty of local neighborhood and street parking. Reservations are recommended but not required. We will definitely be back!
