A bowl of goodness with falafel
    Salomon W.

Ordering online easy. Plenty of choices. I opted for a bowl with falafel and lots of veggies. Order ready for pickup when I arrived. Before leaving I asked for napkins, and was ASSURED they were in the bag with my food. I didn't ask for a fork, because who serves a bowl of food without a fork? Service was fine (maybe the little attitude I got with my answer about napkins could be ditched). Didn't stay long enough to asses ambiance, but outdoor tables in sunshine looked good. Food was delicious. Plenty of it. Next time I'll look in the bag to be sure I do have napkins and a fork. I'll go back, but withhold judgment for now.

Yum! Don't sleep on Mezeh. I'd never have guessed it's a chain. Reasonable prices ($15 for my pita) and just outstanding flavor and texture. It was hard to choose a protein because they all looked delicious in person. I went with the classic shawarma, with chicken, in a pita instead of the prescribed wrap. Creamy, tangy sauces, crusty, Maillard-blessed chicken, a freshly made pita - as far as food goes, heaven on earth. As a dine-in customer, while there were two parties in front of me in line, it actually took longer than I thought to be seen. That's because they're positively slammed with app orders. I think the word is out. Inside there is table and counter height seating, and the lighting and ambiance are stylish, yet not out there. Lunchtime on a Wednesday afternoon saw four dine-in parties comprising probably a dozen people. It's super easy to get to from 80, just like the rest of Rockaway Mall. If Mediterranean food is your jam and you like Hummus Grill or Kabab Paradise, this'll be right up your alley!

This place is a new hidden gem, similar layout to Cava or chipotle and very fresh flavors at a reasonable price. Also easy to track macros once you get ounces of meats.

I'm a Cava girlie at heart but man, Mezeh absolutely slaps. The price is great for what you get and the service is absolutely awesome.

Excellent! Great service. Very cute ambiance and the food was super yummy. The portions are outstanding. One note to the managers: you should add a legend icon that says VEGAN not just vegetarian. We are vegans and we can have literally almost all of the toppings and a few of the dressings. It might help some dairy-free non- vegans too. All in all a really nice, convenient, "fast-food" spot in Rockaway.

I've been waiting for this place to open since i saw the sign. Very excited for a different, healthier lunch option in the area. It's very similar concept to the chain Cava, which I also love. I paid less than $13 for my custom bowl. You choose greens, grains, protein, and then unlimited toppings, and there is a lot to choose from. I got a bit of almost everything and it came with a small pita. Everything tasted so fresh and good. I cannot wait to add this to my regular lunch routine.

As someone who loves a good chicken shawarma, Mezeh hit the mark. Delicious salads, perfectly cooked veggies, and savory sauces. Complimentary pita is also served if you order a bowl. I would highly recommend giving Mezeh a try. The dining area is nice and the staff were friendly. I will definitely be back!

"Pizzas are an online exclusive" (but aren't available to order online????)

The first time I had Mezeh was a few days ago when a friend brought it for lunch. It was delicious, which inspired me to bring the kids back for a quick dinner one night. Unfortunately, we saw a Mezeh sign for "pizza" available online, so we spent like twenty minutes attempting to figure out how to order pizza. Apparently it was not possible. I tried every ordering service, creating an account, using their app, etc. very frustrating that they would advertise something that they don't actually offer. I will probably be back when it's just me, because the food was great. But I don't want disappointed children again, so I will avoid it for dinner. Would love to know if and how pizza is available to order?

There were 6 of us and we split the Efsane Family Special for 4 people and added lamb chops thinking we wouldn't have enough food lol the special also came with dessert but my sister-in-law also ordered a rice pudding. The 6 of us could've easily had the family special for 4 without ordering anything else - there was so much food and we had leftovers to take home!! For context, we all eat a LOT so to say we had leftovers is saying a lot! Quantity aside, the food itself was delicious. The bread is served fresh and steaming hot, the dips are delicious and flavorful, meat is seasoned and cooked perfectly (the chicken shish and lamb adana are my favorites), and the bitter black tea and sweet baklava are a perfect way to end the meal. I left there stuffed and so happy! The staff was also very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back!

For the price and flavor it was so worth it. I got two meals out of mine. I got the gyro platter and it probably was one of the tastiest meals I've had in a long time. I thought the chicken was seasoned and flavorful. But by far, the best part was the white sauce. I would pair it with the mango lassi and it was such a great explosion of flavors - both savory and sweet. I will say they ask whether you're okay with onions and raisins in your platter. I liked them but I know raisins might not be what most people prefer to add to their rice. Service was fast. You can either order at the front table or at your seat. They got the food in a reasonable amount of time. The place looks small from the outside, but when you walk in, there's a back room worth of 30 people worth of seating. It's extremely cozy inside. There's also a parking lot right next to the restaurant and also across the street. The lot right next door is kinda small though, so you might need to loop around. Parking shouldn't be a problem and you can get a really good stop if you're lucky.
