If I could give Fresca Pizza and Pasta more stars, I would! The pizza? Mouthwatering, lip-smacking deliciousness that makes you question every pizza you've had before. Not only was my order ready before they promised (yes, they are pizza magicians), but they even helped me carry it out to my car because I ordered enough to feed a small village! The inside was super cute and clean too! Nice little bar area and everything, wish I had time to get a drink!! Seriously, these guys are so friendly and make sure you're in pizza heaven before you even take the first bite. Hands down, best pizza experience in Bradenton. Fresca, you have my heart (and stomach)!

Service was amazing, and my 12-year-old, who is very picky, said this might be the best cheese pizza he's ever had.

My wife and i went here for lunch for my bday at this Pizza / Vietnamese food place. The place is big with alot of tables inside. We got greeted by the owners and we got the rice plate with pork chop, fried egg, pork skin with the fish sauce. My wife had Bun Bo Hue and the soup was good like in Vietnam how they cooked it. And then we had tea & dessert...im telling you the food here were good 9/10 you wont be disappointed. Anyone close by here please stop by, the owner Son & his wife were really friendly, nice and welcoming guests. Thank u anh Son and chi, we will tell our family & friends about this place. See you guys again.

Interesting ....we enjoyed the summer rolls and pizza....i don't know anywhere else where you can have both! Summer Rolls were fresh, fresh, fresh and owners/staff were extremely attentive and helpful..... will be my weekly lunch after Detwiler's. A hidden gem!

    Slice and spring rolls.

I really enjoyed the pizza! I got 1 slice for 5 bucks. You can't beat that. I added spring rolls to my order. Interesting combo but this was a fantastic lunch. I have been back a couple of times. Owners are very nice, and the place is spotless. I highly recommend giving them a try.

    Steel chairs??? Very uncomfortable

Our first visit to this establishment was interesting. My husband tried the Spicy Pho dish for the first time and he loved it. My son has had Pho before and he ordered the Beef Pho he enjoyed it very much. I tried the Fuselli pasta and chicken dish, leeks and tomato wine cream sauce. I really wanted to like it but it tasted like something from Olive Garden. The leek flavor was missing and the sauce was basically just cream and the sauce was broken, by that I mean the fat separates from the cream if the sauce isn't whisked together correctly. The margarita pizza was good, again not authentic. Margarita pizza is tomato and cheese with torn basil. The family owned restaurant was rather quiet for a Saturday night. We dined outside. Again, I can't believe these chairs, they are like steel chairs and so uncomfortable! The price must be a factor because I have encountered them before at other new places and I just don't get it. Don't you want your guests to eat in comfort? This place is suitable for the IMG kids that go school close by. The girls that served us were family which I like. They were very attentive but we were the only people there so....try this place for the PHO, it was delicious. I don't recommend the pasta dishes the pizza is pretty good but I know of better places.

The interior was in the same motif, an old school Italian restaurant that's been around for awhile. We had reservations and were sat immediately. Our server came over to our table almost immediately. He was friendly, professional and friendly and explained the menu and his recommendations. Even though the appetizers looked amazing, we opted to just order entrees as they came with a salad and pasta. We ordered 2 Chicken Parm's with a Caeser salad side and their homemade Tagliatelle pasta, Bronzino special and a Pasta (homemade linguine). I was one of the Chicken Parm's. DAMN, it was excellent! Very large portions of chicken and pasta with a tomato sauce that was absolutely one of the best I've ever had in a restaurant! It was thick, tasty and clung to the pasta and Parm. I HATE ordering pasta in a restaurant that isn't drained properly and the plate is a puddle with food sitting in it-and this WAS NOT the case! It was a big ass tasty platter of delicious food. The other plates were as large and delicious! For dessert, I had the Espresso Affogato, again DELICIOUS!!! I WILL be back to try some of the other dishes as, for me, unless they do a really good chicken parm, I won't go on!! Great job by the staff! Our table was constantly bussed, waters refilled and making sure we were satisfied.

We were seated right away, and our server was attentive, almost a little too attentive at times that we felt rushed. The atmosphere was nice, but the restaurant is small, difficult to move around, and the lighting was darker than I prefer. We started with the fried calamari and meatballs. The calamari was good, but the meatballs were disappointing. They were about the size of golf balls which is ok but lacked flavor. For our entrees, we ordered the penne alla vodka, chicken parmesan, gnocchi, and I had the spaghetti special that was finished in a cheese wheel tableside. The presentation was fun, but the food itself just didn't live up to it. The marinara sauce across the dishes was bland, the gnocchi was forgettable, and my spaghetti portion was surprisingly small, more like an appetizer than an entrée. I almost always take leftovers home from Italian restaurants because the portions are generous and the food is rich. This time, there was nothing left because there wasn't much there to begin with. The biggest disappointment was the bread. When I go to an Italian restaurant, I expect warm, crusty Italian bread. Instead, it tasted like ordinary sliced sandwich bread. I actually like Publix bread, but that's not what I'm looking for with an Italian meal. Overall, nothing was terrible, but nothing stood out either. For the prices, I expected much more flavor, better portions, and a more authentic Italian experience.

Our wait staff Jennifer was very good and courteous. It was just the two of us and we each order our own Pizzas if you compare my pizza photo from my last visit to today's you'll see what I mean. Either the oven was too high or the pizza oven chef was overwhelmed because as I looked around ours weren't the only ones really dark. I did mention it to the wait staff and she was more than apologetic but it's not her fault. Anyway, I will probably be back and specify "light on top" you want the crust to have a bite not a chew that's tough. I know that sometimes you just have an off night. Pretty hard to screw up a cheese pizza tho. Sigh.

Came with several large shrimp, Spinach was uncut and still had stems, massive leaves of uncut spinach - too much, not cooked down. The spinach almost ruined the dish, and frankly the prices for the pasta and chicken dishes are high for a place that keeps napkin dispensers on the tables. Service was okay. We were one of four tables and there were two servers. Had to flag down for refills. She was never available - counting her tip money at the counter. Had to ask for a plate. This seems to be more of a pizza place... wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

I arrived around 2:20 p.m. and was let in by a worker at the front door, who told me they were closing shortly and suggested I head to the deli first if that was what I wanted. Once I walked in, however, a cashier yelled to me that they were closed. I was a little confused because I had just been let in by a worker who knew I was coming inside. From there, the experience felt a bit chaotic. There were quite a few people in the store, and I felt like the workers were very displeased by my presence. I honestly felt like I was a bother. I completely understand that I arrived close to closing, so I tried to be respectful of their time and rushed through the store to grab a few items. I had driven an hour to get there, so I wanted to at least make the most of the trip. When I went to check out, I initially got in one line, and the cashier was finishing up with the customer already there and directed me to another line, so I followed her instructions. I had a basket with my items and wasn't sure if I was supposed to empty it myself. There wasn't an obvious place to leave the empty basket, and the cashier never indicated that she would take it from me. I apologized and explained that it was my first time there. She told me that next time I should come during the week so I could browse more. As I was leaving, I noticed so many people trying to enter the store and being turned away because it was now past closing. That made me think Mazzaro's may want to reconsider its Saturday hours. They are clearly a very popular and well-known store, yet being open from only 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and being closed on Sundays makes it difficult for people who work typical Monday-Friday, full-time hours to visit. I take responsibility for not checking the hours before making the drive, and I understand that the employees were probably ready to go home. However, I still think there is a difference between enforcing closing time and making a customer feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, I did not feel warmly greeted or welcomed during my visit, and it put a damper on the entire experience.
