Went here based on other reviews. This place is for real New York style pizza lovers. The crust and red sauce are authentic. Really good. The service was quick and attentive. The waitstaff had big smiles and quick steps. I should warn you that the neighborhood is not what is likely once was. We had no run ins but lots of homeless and shady characters roaming about. And often underappreciated Italian restaurant in Bradenton. Probably because it's in a very old neighborhood whose obsolescence is showing. Run down hotels, homeless encampment, etc. But it's a perfectly safe neighborhood. And it's absolutely delicious. The funny thing is when you mention it to people, their eyes pop open and they say, "I love that place!" And then when you ask how long it's been since they've been there they get a funny look and it's always a "couple of years or so." Well, stop waiting, and go today. I had the chicken Parmesan pizza today. Which tells me the chicken Parmesan is also excellent. Nice staff. Nice people. And you're not helping feed the corporate chain restaurants. read more

ordered DoorDash delivery of a caesar salad and their Pepperoni , sausage , mushroom, bell pepper and onion pizza. Pizza was very tasty, but the caesar salad was your average salad. They also included a free small loaf of Italian bread, which was okay, but we really did need it with such a large pizza and salad. It's very loud inside. Very overstimulating. We had a party of four and my food was brought out 20 minutes before the others'. I was done before they got their food. Service was ok. The food here is unbelievable good and as close to New York Italian as I've been able to find. Coming from a guy who lived in New Jersey and frequented New York its hard to find anything close. There soup has best flavor than any restaurant in town as well. Recently both me and my wife were sick and we literally got better eating there soup every single day. What can you saw when the food and service are fantastic!!?! We found this spot through searching yelp reviews and I am so glad we did! A very comfortable small dining area is simple and clean. Making you feel like you are visiting an old friend or family member. We had the Stromboli ring and a large pizza. Both were amazing! The sauce for the stromboli is perfect! Amy is super friendly and helpful! We are going to have delicious leftovers for days! We can't wait to go back and try some of the pasta dishes. We are incredibly happy to have found this gem of an Italian spot! Ambiance was nice sitting area but everyone who walked in after me was atleast in there 40's or older ordering dinner and alcohol from the table or getting it out of the vending machine. My boyfriend thinks his pizza was a 4 star but I think my mushroom slice deserves 2 stars, .... hence the 3 star rating. I was very unimpressed and think there's more flavor in a mushroom pizza from papa Johns than this place. He said his pizza was good and greasy. It's a Regular Tuesday night at 7:00 PM. The front desk at the hotel recommended this restaurant. 1.2 miles away. The yelp reviews said it was amazing. IMO This restaurant has gotten a big head for the food the serve. Upon ordering they said it would be an hour and a half for delivery and my expectations were super high. Well when it arrived an hour and 45 minutes (late) I was underwhelmed. Food was good but obviously not amazing. Coming off of this damn Covid, you think they would pick up their delivery game.. but this obviously it isn't important to their business. Their delivery guy was quick to say they only have one delivery person at the restaurant. Which drastically reduces the quality of baked bread, and a cold salad. I may go in one day to how their fresh food tastes. If I would have went in I could have ordered, ate, returned to my room, showered and went to bed. All before my delivery arrived. We found this place by driving down 41 into Bradenton. It's easy to find and has plenty of parking for its little establishment. It is a bit of a dive and has about 15-20 tables. Menu has a variety of hearty pasta dishes, pizza, appetizers, desserts, and more. We've been there twice now, once for the pizza and once for the pasta. The pasta is served with a generous amount of sauce - just the way I like it. We ordered the chicken spaghetti with creamy alfredo sauce and cheese stuffed manicotti with a marinara sauce. The red sauce was my far my favorite! I couldn't get enough of it! The second time we went we got a pizza, garlic knots. and an Italian salad. Pizza was huge and had a good amount of toppings and cheese. It was large and a bit flimsy which made it hard to pick up - use knife and fork for the beginning and finish with a NY fold at the end. :P I'll say the marinara sauce wasn't as good the second time around so not sure if it differs from pasta dish to what they give you for dipping the garlic knots. TLDR: Dive with great service. Pasta dishes were saucy and good! read more
