I hate to do this because I hate to complain but my appointment itself took 3 hours to complete and I am a regular at getting my nails done... so that was way to long. I wasn't going to complain but now the gel polish is peeling off and is not like the usual one other places have used on my acrylics. I am currently not working so not a lot of ware and tare on my nails like there would be if I was currently employed. I just moved in to the area and went an entire month without visiting a nail salon. I have no recommendations out here (new state) so I decided to wait while we finish up the move. This salon is really clean and the ladies working are super nice. No doubt about it and nothing negative to say about them. They were all sweet. I came in for an acrylic, ombre fill and a pedicure. My 2 big toes need acrylic nails from a prior injury, so I expected to pay a little more for that. I sat down for my pedi first and they charge an additional $12/per toe to remove my old nail and add another one.. Fine. Expensive, but whatever. They soaked my 2 toes for 20min, so I'm just sitting their doing nothing. The girl comes back and the pedicure begins. I was there for over 2 HOURS and my fill hasn't even begun.. Finally, I get to the nail station and I'm waiting another 10min for the girl who did my pedi to clean everything up at her other station.. over 2hrs at this point. The girl finally gets to me and I ask the owner about how long a fill would take, A FILL, not a full set, and she says about 1.5-2hrs!! And then, the girl mentions to the owner it's an ombre fill so it'll take longer. The owner asks how long and tech replies "idk, I've never done ombre but I can try‍" They were about to give me a tech who has NEVER done my type of nails before and they would have charged me full price for inexperienced work. That was kind of shady tbh. I know people need to practice, but usually people get discounted prices for discounted work. I decided to leave. The owner said she can help me in about 15min and she knows how to do them. I said ok, but waiting for so long and seeing how comfortable they were having me sit there so long just didn't sit well with me, so I decided to leave. Looking at my toes, I can see I was helped by someone who doesn't know what they're doing, but I was definitely charged every last cent they wanted for poor quality. **I know I have acrylic on my two big toes, but NEVER have I been to a salon who left me with massive gaps between my nail and my actual toe. I paid $54 for a pedicure. It would have been an additional $50 for a fill + and hour and a half longer. read more

The 3 stars are for her. I would give my 20 minute pedicure 1 star though because for 55$ it looks like I did them, there was nothing special about it, she didn't even touch my cuticles, and 2 days later my feet were rough again. $120 was a lot for basic vibes. read more

This was our first time going to this place & all i can say is everything was amazing. Their customer service is great!! The vibe you feel when you're in the salon getting anything done is relaxing. The nail techs stay having a conversation with you. They meet your needs on whatever you request if you show inspo pictures or have a specific design you want. IT'S DIRTY STAY AWAY. D'Amour nails has been my go to salon for a little until I went this past Saturday 08/31; made an appointment for a gel pedicure & acrylic soak off. I noticed I got a burning sensation right before my gel was going to get applied but I ignored it since I didn't think it was something to worry about. Like 2 hrs after my toe looked like this!!! I got an infection bc the tools used on me were obviously NOT SANITIZED. Now I'm left with my toes like this right before my birthday!! I'm so upset & grossed out. Like what do I do now????? ***UPDATE*** It was known not to be an infection after all (THANKFULLY) but it was a burn. Nayeli, owner of the salon, had contacted me right away apologized, & reassured they take their sanitization seriously. Apparently the nail tech made the mistake of cutting too close to my cuticle making it an open wound & once the pre-gel coat was applied it burned the area. Thank you Nayeli for getting back to me & making sure to make everything right. Businesses like this should always be given a second chance, the effort is always appreciated, mistakes happen! read more

I went ahead and called Nayeli back and all she can offer me was to go back and she would fix my nails. I asked for a refund and she declined to give me a refund because I can't get a refund on " a service I received". I would not go back there even if they paid me to go back. When I made my appointment I was asked for a deposit that was made they zelle.. I don't understand why I can't be zelled my money back. What kind of business is this?!?! She literally asked me to go back which I will not put myself in that situation. My toe nail is literally coming off with the nail polish that was used! Maybe you should get experienced girls to work there and not use your customers as practice dummies! Or how about you instead have the girl that did do my nails and pedi give me my refund!
