I recently had my driveway repaved by this company, and while the initial results seemed satisfactory, I encountered a concern the day after completion when a large puddle formed after rainfall. Despite reaching out multiple times, I have unfortunately not received the attention and follow-up I had hoped for. I've made several attempts to communicate with the owner, but regrettably, my efforts have been met with excuses rather than solutions. It's disheartening that, after two months, my attempts to engage have been ignored, leaving me uncertain about the owner's commitment to honoring their verbal promise. Despite initially appearing satisfactory, the inadequacies became apparent soon after completion. This has added to my disappointment, particularly given the lack of responsiveness and poor customer service I have experienced.Sadly, the ongoing communication challenges have eroded my trust in this individual. I find it difficult to believe that he will honor his commitment to provide me with a free seal after one year, considering not only the subpar quality of the work but also his unconvincing responses. It's important for others to be aware of my experience, as I believe there are many other contractors who prioritize customer satisfaction and follow through on their promises. D&H were doing some work in our neighborhood so they came by and the foreman immediately impressed me by pointing out exactly the drainage and stability problems we were having and thinking through how to handle them in paving our driveway, but my wife and I are feeling a little thin on money, we waffled on it, and decided against even though he was impressive. He then saw us while we were out walking the dog and asked again -- hustling for business as he needs to, not pushy or difficult - and we went for it. I wish I had said yes the first time. The crew were fast, polite, and professional. The work looks spectacular and they neatly handled flaws in garage concrete and in the yard. They went out of their way to make things look neat and organized: heck, they damaged a little perennial near the driveway - no big deal, just some leaves, it'll come back -- and you could see the crew even worked to spruce _that_ up. Asphalt is level, clean, they set up an elegant drainage route - but most of all it's clear they did more than they had to - more than I would have asked - to make the job look great. I think we got a great price but I KNOW we worked with people I can trust and who care about their work, and I would recommend them to anyone. Outstanding Work!!! I am very pleased with the professionalism and responsiveness of D&H Paving. The owners of the company came to my house to give me a reasonable and affordable estimate and they returned to measure everything a second time to ensure enough asphalt would be ordered for the job. Prior to their arrival, they communicated with me regularly and keep me apprised as to when they would arrive and if any delays might impact my project. They arrived at exactly when they said they would on the date specified. They listened carefully to my concerns and meticulously addressed each concern. I was surprised last winter that they showed up and asked me if I'd like a quote as they were paving in the area. I hadn't really planned this but the quote was excellent compared to some I had gotten in the past. I went by the sites they were paving and the work looked pretty good so I enlisted them. I was mildly surprised that they were paving in winter. They started work in a couple of days. I used to be on a paving gang so I watched them carefully. They did a great job in all the prep work. I have a 1500' driveway with steep hills so this was not an easy job. We had D&H Paving come out and give us an estimate they were quick and observant about the detail. We needed to extend our driveway to accommodate 5 cars (only 3 would fit in our drive).We got 3 estimates they was the highest by $300 but all I heard was good things about this company. I will never use this company. They pay their employees in cash so no one on your property is properly insured. Half of the employees will leave hypodermic needles on your property as well from all of the illegal drug use. The owners are Irish gypsies and will rip someone off any chance they get.
