The agreed on price was $575 to tow to a International dealer 53 miles away. Dave convinced me that the could do the repair cheaper and just a good at his shop 33 miles away and only under pressure lowered the bill to $500. I had them service both front bearings (one had a seal leak, original problem) and Dave replaced the brake pads, good work on his part. That's where the OK part ends. I picked up my vehicle and the next day was pulling my full three horse trailer. I applied brakes on a long downhill stretch and the front left brake locked up and almost pulled me into oncoming traffic. I returned the truck to Ameri-Tow and was told that the calipers were severely corroded as a result of the extensive wear and needed to be replaced. Based on the "severely corroded" I had both calipers replaced. When picking up the vehicle, I inspected the calipers and there was NO corrosion. This guy is a liar and in my opinion a parts changer not a mechanic. Dave became extremely angry and told me I must pay the full bill or I could sue him to get my truck back. I paid and he gave me the parts receipts from the International dealer and said if I had any more trouble I could contact them.

I was not even notified of how much it was going to cost when they took my car away. They had to winch it about 100 feet, saying that was another further reason for the high price. If you go into a ditch or need a tow- NEVER, NEVER, NEVER call Walter's Towing in Chardon!  They will take advantage of your situation because they know you are stuck.
