It's been over a year since I bought my table here and I wanted to circle back and say how positive an overall experience it was--the kind of personal sales experience you simply don't get except with a local business. I was referred to D&L Billiards by a regional distributor when I was looking for a table for my new home, and D&L had a ton of great options on the floor that I could see in person and try out. Perhaps more impressively, they listened to what I was looking for and guided me to the table and accessories I didn't even know I wanted yet--and it was thousands less than the one I I walked in thinking I would buy. They didn't try to push me into paying for something I didn't need; they did they exact opposite, and a year later I absolutely love what they set me up with. They knew what they were talking about, they cared about what I wanted, and they didn't try and oversell me. I somehow spent thousands less than I expected to and got more than I had hoped for. Their install team was flawless, their follow-up and communication on my order was great, and I definitely got my money's worth. It was a long drive from the north side of Massachusetts, but it was absolutely worth it. The whole experience was a pleasure. I'd recommend them to anyone. read more

My experience with D and L get off to a rocky start. I Purchased a used pool table, and was reassured that if a piece of plywood could go down my basement steps then the pool table could go down. Waited 2 1/2 weeks for the table to be delivered, only to find out that it had been partially built at the store and would not fit down the basement steps. Kudos to the installers who tried everything to get it down my steps. The table had to be sent back, and I went back to back to the store. I ended up purchasing a brand new table, with the reassurance that they would build it in my rec room. I waited another 10 days, and when they arrived it came down in pieces. I was amazed and delighted to witness the assembly of this table. The installers did a tremendous job. They measured again and again, to make sure everything is perfect. They felted the table after it was built, and it came out perfect. The table is leveled and placed exactly where it should be, I couldn't be happier with my new pool table. It has passed many a countless night entertaining us. It was the perfect thing to purchase, to help overcome the different phases that Covid has brought our way. I recommend D and L billiards for all of your gaming. They have every imaginable game, decoration and accessories that anyone would want. Bought an air hockey table from them and so far so good. They are easy to work with and their prices are on par with the market. They also are very nice and the delivery price included set up and install which was a surprise since the Seasons place down the street wanted to charge me double to bring it inside and build it. This past August I called D & L about having my late grandfather's antique pool table restored. The table had been stored in my father's garage for the past 26 years or so and was in need of major restoration. From day one, Dave (the owner) seemed to take a personal interest in making sure the table would be a source of pride for my family as it had once been. Dave and his crew stayed on budget and did an amazing job stripping, sanding, staining, and repairing this table. I can honestly say that the table now looks better than it ever did. It was installed just before the holidays and it has been awesome reminiscing with my family members and showing it off to my friends. We bought a used table from DL Billiards and it was installed yesterday. The installers were professional and a pleasure to have in our home. They worked efficiently, recovering the table in the process of installation, and when they were finished it looked so beautiful. They took great care to make sure everything was done perfectly--from moving the table into our basement (not an easy feat!) to leveling it and testing the balls rolling on it. We hesitated about buying a used table, but DLBilliards and it's owner, Dave, far exceeded all of our very high expectations. I purchased a used pool table from D&L that was delivered and installed today. My whole experience was great. The staff was knowledgeable and patient as I tried to figure out what I wanted to finalize on after several visits. They have a wide range of options for tables from high end to basic. I spoke with several people during my visits and all were knowledgeable. The table I ended up with was great and in my price range. There was no pressure to buy or anything and the delivery, set up and new felt was included in the price. The set-up crew was on time, courteous down to vacuuming up as they left. I ended up writing a check for too much money (didn't deduct the deposit I made earlier) and they called to alert me to that- honest people to do business with! Thanks D&L! read more

If you would like to go to a place that knows billiards, than D&L is the place in RI and Southeast Ma! In the last year i have bought 3 billiard cues from D&L. A break Cue, Brunswick and JP. I love all of them. Dave took the time to make sure I found the stick i wanted. He also had some good points regarding the best stick for my game. I found D&L to be very knowledgeable about all their products. I jusr recently bought a 4 Cue case and a few other memorabilia pieces for my pool room. I am hoping in the next year I can upgrade my current table! I will definitely be going to D&L first! they have great selection of Used and new tables and when it is all said and done their price is very competitive! Jason read more

D&L came to repair my pool table. The installer quickly pointed out why it was not advisable and put me in touch with Dave at the store. Dave suggested a used table at a reasonable price. I relocated to CT from MD and brought a pool table with me, in pieces. It is an expensive table. This company came out, did a fantastic job of levelling and placing the table right where I wanted it. Eight years ago I bought a pool table from D&L billiards I paid over $7000 for the pool table service was good they came in and stole the table and set it all up. About a month later the chrome strips on the side of the pool table started falling off they came back out and replace them. About a month later they fell off again I called they said they're going to contact the factory and get back to me never heard another word about it. good tired of waiting went out and bought 3M automotive tape and reinstalled it myself they have not fallen off yet to this day. So today I decided to call because I'm having new copy installed in my game room and needed to move the pool table to see if I can rent a table wheeler to move the table the lady that answered the phone on the other end was Condon sending and told me we don't rent them remove them for $275 but that includes level the table . When I told her I can rent it for 50 bucks her answer was to me was do they level it for 50 also. So now from this day forward I will not buy another thing from D&L I will bye it from George's where I am now renting the Wheeler for 50 bucks. read more

Excellent store and service. Came from North Shore Boston to look around at game tables for our family room. Totally worth the drive. Owner is knowledgeable, friendly, low pressure. Easy to talk to and interested in finding the right table us. He is willing to let the sale go if he can see room is too small for a table. Brought the family in to choose a table... he left us alone mostly, but came in periodically to answer questions. No pressure. The inventory is fantastic. Lots of brands. He will explain the history and construction behind every name. All the way from $25K antiques to modest budget. Price included delivery and setup. The two man crew came in and were great. Polite. Clean. Set up pads though the house to protect furniture. Finished product was beautiful, solid, centered in the room (they put it up in a few orientations for us to evaluate before installing the slate) and completely level. Perfection. Even if you're not in Rhode Island, it is worth the drive if you are setting up any game room. read more

I am not a friend or relative of David and Lisa. I never met them before our purchase, and I have never posted a review online before now. I am just someone so moved by the quality products and incredible service I received from D&L that I had to share it with others. I purchased a used Olhausen table at a fraction of its new price from D&L...and thanks to the care and attention to detail by David, the table looks brand new. The installation was fascinating to watch and no easy task. In his super attractive price, David included brand new slate and a gorgeous burgundy felt. He also sold us a comprehensive used pool table accessory package in great condition with gorgeous fiberglass sticks and more for a tiny fraction of what it would have cost new. I cannot say enough about D&L. David and Lisa are a wonderful couple who really care about sharing their love of the game with others and winning raving fans like us.
