We love this little locally-owned feed store. The employees couldn't be any nicer and the animals make a visit fun for kids.

The store staff is extremely knowledgable about plants, and especially plants that will do well in North Texas. They were very patient answering our many questions and helping us pick out just the right trees to replace several oaks that we recently lost. It was great knowing that all their trees come from their farm in Texas. Once we picked our trees from their large lot, they carefully marked them as ours to ensure those were the ones that showed up on delivery day. Their delivery team was respectful, helpful in finalizing placement of each tree, careful with the trees and our yard, and cleaned up nicely. I highly recommend that you work with MVN for your plant needs.

The consult was good and we were provided an offer for a couple of services, thoroughly clear an existing flowerbed, remove a tree and soil injections for 2 other trees. Initial offer seemed rather high but then the consultant called the general manager to get us a discount given we would be coming back to replace plants in the flower bed. I had to call and remind the consultant 2 times to schedule the soil injection service as they never reached out to me. The tree removal was okay but they didn't remove the entire stump even though we told them we were going to put grass over the area. Then we made an appointment to meet our consultant to design our new flowerbed bed. First appointment he wasn't there so we spent time with the GM and we discussed what we liked and didn't like which she would relay to our consultant. So a week later we went again to meet the consultant and he had NOT been informed of anything we discussed with the GM, so we had to go through the whole process again. Ultimately picked out the plants and got a design layout. Agreed a date and time for them to come and plant it all. Long story short, some of the plants were damaged (a very expensive whale tail agave) and some of what we chose in the nursery turned out to be shorter when they were delivered. Oh and again we were told we got a manager special pricing....hhmm should have been a warning sign. After the work they ask for feedback where I made all issues known and I was told someone would be reaching out. That was 2 months ago!! I even texted the same number again. No response. Basically, whilst the products and free stuff they give you is all great. There is a lot to be said about the aftercare and customer service. I will definitely be thinking twice before spending my hard earned money at Moon Nurseries.

Even on a Sunday before lunch, the place is extremely spacious, clean, well organized/stocked, and the staff are friendly but not pushy. I am no green thumb but an amateur indoor plant enthusiast à la covid shelter in place so I'll definitely be back for succulents and or air plants when I'm ready to get back into the game. There's a huge selection of trees, plants, shrubs, herbs, flowers and everything in between. I didn't realize that they offer fresh cut Christmas trees during the winter season. But I would definitely like to come back to see and smell them. They also sell fertilizer, sprinkler system spare parts, grills, and patio furniture and accessories. It's a haven for anyone working on their yard or outdoor space. There's even dog treats and toys, wind chimes, bird houses and feeders! As wonderful as this place is, you wouldn't expect such fair prices. But here they are, competitively reasonable. As an indoor plant person, I appreciate the various sizes of neem oil and fair pricing! Lastly, and most importantly, we weren't sure if we could bring our pup in but there were tons of large dogs on leash! So glad this place is so close to home! We'll be back soon.

The service was impeccable with Ivan running me around on a golf caft to see every tree of my desire. He got seven trees inside my SUV + two flats of Asian jasmine. Packed to the gills I headed back to Dallas to unload and plan how soon I could go back. The prices on what I bought were more than reasonable. This is THE PLACE TO GO.

The original tree was planted when my house was built in 2020 with no issues near utility lines. The issue arose when the crew said they couldn't remove the root ball because it was too close to said utility lines... The workers called the office for guidance, and that's when things went downhill. The office representative, Bridget I believe was her name, informed me of the issue, but when I started asking for more information and possible solutions, she became defensive and said, "I am not going to be arguing about this with you, sir!". I am no expert at tree planting but I found this response incredibly frustrating and the tone unnecessary. There was a language barrier between the workers and me, which led to some back-and-forth. I was genuinely trying to understand why the service couldn't be performed. Instead of helping, Bridget made a dismissive comment that I should "do it myself if I want it done." This level of customer service was shocking and disappointing. In the end, I needed the tree and didn't want to hold up the workers, who were very kind and professional--this is why I didn't give a one-star review. I agreed to have the tree planted in a different spot suggested by the workers, but now I have to deal with the stump removal on my own. This experience has been frustrating, and I didnt know what to expect from Treeland but after reading other reviews this is a common pattern. Attached are photos, if any other tree professionals read this review and want to get paid to remove this root ball please shoot me a message.

My wife and I wandered the property trying to find help for a good 20-30 minutes. As we were waiting we saw another patron doing the same and they asked where everyone was. The office is clearly marked NOT TO enter. It says to meet under the blue tent, Under the blue tent there was a couple and their children coloring, but no help. We lingered there for another 10-15 minutes with no luck. We decided to drive around the lot to see what we could see (it is big). As we came back we saw the other person being helped. I stopped the car and got out to ask how we too could get help. The woman got all flustered and sternly said, "this is not the parking lot, go park there and we will help you." Clearly, she was more concerned about that than us. My wife was in the car and the car was running. I certainly was not sending signals I was going to park there. In my mind, I'm thinking - Umm...I was parked in the lot for about 30 minutes and had to go looking for you the whole time I was here happy pants! I drove a long way to get here and don't plan on dealing with you and your attitude. No thanks. Happily, we stumbled upon a place just a few miles down the road on our way back and they were great, had very good trees, and were nothing but helpful. Guess where we spent our money and will in the future.
