Drain line clogged causing a back up, safety features kicked in and shut down the AC. D&S sent 2 techs out immediately to fix the problem same day as the call. Techs were polite, knowledgeable and to the point. They explained the issue and showed me how to clean the line to prevent future issues. I will use them again. read more

Worst HVAC company I have ever worked with. They were a sub to the company that built my house. We have only been in the house for 4 months and have had to have them back 4 times for warranty work. The first two times were to fix freon leaks. The third time was because we found water damage in our owners suite closet, upstairs closet and garage that was traced back to a leaking drain line that was improperly installed. While undergoing water damage and mold restoration work we had to call them back a fourth time to fix the same drain line that was discovered leaking again. The company president showed up on the fourth call and had the nerve to tell my wife she needed to calm down. Our house is torn up with water damage and mold and instead of apologizing this guy wants to be condescending to my wife - gives you a sense for how the company is run. Told my builder that this company is not coming back in my house and that any additional warranty work needs to be done by a competent HVAC company. read more

My heating and air quit working and I called D & S. They came out and installed a new unit and did some duct work. Two days later the unit quit working and they came out again and "fixed"it. Several days later there was a big water damage from the duct work they had supposedly fixed. They fixed it but there was water damage to the ceiling. I have been waiting 3 1/2 months for them to fix the damage. They don't even show up after making several appointments to come and fix it. When it was time to turn on the heat, again it did not work. They came out and fixed that but installing a new unit and having to return 4 times for it work is unacceptable. Also, Josie is extremely rude and refused to talk to my insurance company. Customer Service is non-existent. Damage to ceiling is still not fixed. I will never use them again and advise others to stay away from them. read more

We got to our home for a much needed vacation, and found our air conditioning was not working. It was a very hot day in August and we had brought our three senior dogs with us. They were not doing well with the 98 degree temperature that our thermostat stated was our interior temperature at 12:30 pm. We called D&S at the recommendation of our realtor who had helped us purchase the home. Dean was in our driveway in 20 minutes! Replaced our coil and the lost Freon and charged us very fairly for the speedy work done. Dean was great and very honest. read more

Written by Husband My wife called D&S early August 2018 and they arrived to let us know the AC needed refrigerant. They quickly serviced it and the AC started cooling. Nineteen days later (waited an extra 4 days before calling), the unit stop cooling again so we made another call. Seeing they did not correct the issue the first time, we asked if the service fee could be waived, seeing they did not correct the problem on August 8th. I was told by the Office Manager that the fee could not be waived because there may be another issue with the AC unit. It was not understood why another $98 was being asked of me when they were at my home 23 days earlier. Obviously this would indicate the original problem was not resolved. FIRST Let me say, I have no issue paying anyone for a service but the service they provide must deliver for what I am paying. After a somewhat lengthy discussion with the Office Manager, and not getting a resolution with the company not waiving the next service fee, we decided to leave D&S....AND this is their loss of a new AC unit to cover my two-story home. They will say customer service is their primary goal BUT it is not. Unless they change their office staff (who act as they are doing you a favor for taking your call), they will lose more business....just like they lost our business. read more

After being without AC almost a week oh, I was so relieved that they were able to send someone today rather than making me wait till the end of the week like a company I had called prior to calling them. Clint actually showed up earlier than his scheduled time. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable and completed the repair very quickly and professionally. My husband and I have been customers of D&S for many years for our two homes. Our experience has always been a good one. We called D&S yesterday to request a quote for a new heat pump, Jay came out and today, we are warm with our new unit. The technician, Glenn arrived with his team promptly. My review is for the technicians who come out to your home to do the service work....they are all excellent at what they do.....but you must try to ignore the terrible office staff who are unbelievably unprofessional. This is a good firm but I have no idea how they have found two office staff that insult customers and offer very little in the way of what I would call customer service....so please try to ignore the terrible office staff and rely on the guys that come out to service your HVAC systems...they know what they are doing. read more

Called D and S because our a/c unit stopped cooling. I was out of town but my son let them in. The service man did not bring right tools for the job to start off with. Told my son the compresser was froze up. I came home and called KFI Heating and air they came over and in 30 minutes and 149$ later my ac was working. There was a short in wire going to compresser. They then sent a 95$ service diagnotic bill even though they diagnosed it incorrectly. And an estimate for almost 7000$ to replace the unit. If you are going to tell someone they need to replace a 7000$ unit you need the correct tools to make sure your correct. He also stated that the freon I had they didnt sell anymore and that needed replaced. But you guessed it KFI said we were fine. Its been over a month and we are still running fine. I paid the man 50$ for coming out but have no intention of paying any more. I would suggest bypassing this company. read more
