If you like Hong Kong style BBQ, you must give them a try. They offer the best Roast pork in the valley. No bone. Perfect.

We've been ordering take out from here for a while now and it's always been mainly for their roast pork. 10/10 would recommend. Tonight we decided to try their seafood hot pot which consist of cod, squid, scallops, shrimps and veggies (we had thought it would be similar to Great Wall - but it wasn't). You may ask why this is getting a 3 star review. The pork was fine and this is why it gets 3 star. Now, for the seafood hot pot....squid tasted and has the consistency on latex to the point where I had to spit it out and it looked like a latex glove. The scallop was the next to be evaluated, it had green spots on it and the texture tasted a bit weird. I really didn't want to toss the 3 piece out because there was only 3 available and note that I had already removed the latex squid. All that remained was the cod and again, about 4 2inch portion of the cod and 2 of them was kind of hard, not what that meant but I still ate it. The remaining was snow peas and carrot. Not sure if I may get food poisoning or not from the scallop and cod but I will update this if I goto the ER. The shrimp tasted like shrimp, so that's a good thing I guessed. Overall, for these 2 portion was a whole $38. Maybe we should just stick to the roast pork from now on. read more

Came here with the family to celebrate a milestone birthday. It's always good to celebrate a birthday. As long as it's not your own :) The location was clean, well kept, medium in size, and moderately decorated. Plenty of parking space. Had to do my business and wash my hands after, the loo was quite dated, and a little dirty. The toilet was about equal to a common house toilet. The food was good, but some items were bland. We order the roast duck which was average, and needed more flavour, and they forgot my golden duck sauce. You can't eat duck without it. We ordered the Yu Shan Eggplant Hot Pot, which was good, definitely one of my favourites of the night. We also order some classics like pigs intestines with ginger, it lacked a little flavour, I'm guessing the pig didn't squealed enough before it was put down. Jk XD we also had a tofu bowl and a fish fillet pot, which both were quite good. Overall a good place for the more traditional Chinese food, so if you are looking for sweet and sour pork and teriyaki chicken... better look else well. read more

D&Y could use some help in customer service department, so expect to be wowed. What did however wow me was the food is cooked right and tasted great. My parents recently moved to the Deer Valley area and a co-worker suggested D&Y as an authentic Cantonese restaurant. Dinner starts with a light complimentary house soup. The best dishes are definitely those recommended by trusted YES reviewers Joyce and Simon W. The roasted crispy pork can be purchased by the pound and is always fresh. Eggplant Hot Pot, Crispy fried Fish (which does have bones) are excellent. I can't wait to try to roasted duck and stir fried black bean clams next. read more

This place is not expensive for the quality of food that it offers. The staff are friendly. Our food came out fast. The place is clean. We used to eat here before and the servers were friendly and nice but since they changed their servers, we weren't satisfied with their service anymire. At one time, I ordered pork belly and they gave me pork stomach. Even if you checked all the stores pork belly is the meat with layers of fat. But this waitress kept telling me that it was the stomach. Today, I ordered 5 dishes for picked up and we were so hungry already. One of my orders was crunchy noodles whicn I checked on the picture here on yelp, when I got home the noodles wasn't there. I called them and the lady apologized and asked me to go back and picked it up. So I drove again all the way there and the lady was giving me like a bag of chips for 50 cents. She said those were the crunchy noodles. I said I will not order those for lunch. I always order that noodles with the sauce and veggies on top but the lady was insisting that those chips were the crunchy noodlea. Even the lady before me had to wait because ghe gave her order to somebody else. I'm not gonna eat here anymore. I have been here a few times and it was very delicious. Very authentic to basic foods. It is right down the street from my parent's house so it's very convenient. The service was great too. We ordered Beef Fried Rice (beef is perfectly cooked, has a great texture and taste, great beef-everything else ratio, and the portion is enough to feed a small army), Steamed Dumplings (my favorite food, so I might have some bias, but great amount of filling, and they're warm and comforting), and Kung Pao Chicken (not mine, but my brother said it was fantastic so you'll have to take his word for it) Ordering online was quick and easy, prices are great, and the staff was very friendly! Last dinner before our flight home, wife found this place on the local flyer. We ordered oyster, clam, crab and a couple veggie dishes. All came out nicely looking and taste wise. My usual teriyaki place is closed on Sundays so because this place had a subpar rating I decided to give it a try. What a mistake that was. The chicken did not taste like chicken, the meat melted in my mouth so makes me think if it was even poultry. The teriyaki sauce was in the bag not on the food and the rice was cheap rice. So disappointed in myself for paying for this overpriced mystery meat. To make things worse the customer service was incredibly rude. I asked for any type of hot sauce like Siracha or chili paste. The cashier looks at me and says they don't have any siracha or any type of hot sauce. As I walk out I look at the table and there are bottles of siracha everywhere. Wow. What I love here is the waiters are very friendly and nice, despite how many customers they have to serve. The restaurant is big but they did not have enough staffs so it took a little while to get food on the table. It was raining hard when we dined in and for some reason our table had water dripping down from the roof. As I said, because there was not enough staffs so they can't clean table fast enough, making the environment unpleasant. Omg this little Chinese restaurant is so good ! I guess you can say I'm a regular now because they never disappoint . It's a small little place that can probably use a little TLC inside but don't get discouraged , it's good and they're all pretty nice there . My go to dishes is their chicken lo Mein and pepper steak , so good ! This time we tried their beef Lo mein and it was still good ! I hadn't had flavor that good since I left the San Jose area and would go to a couple Chinese BBQ places. Terrible people. If I could leave zero stars I would. I usually don't leave reviews but I wanted to give this place a second chance after the last terrible experience we had. The roast pork and duck is never ready on time. The first time, they said it would was ready. We get there, they tell us it'll be another 45 minutes. We finally get our order only to get home and find out they gave us under weight roast pork and the some of our entrees were missing from the order. We ordered to go because we have had the food before and liked it but now live to far for delivery. My husband ordered the food and I picked it up after work. I went to pick it up and gave her our names and phone number. Clarified both with her and she assured me it was the correct order. I got home and she had given me only part of our order. My husband went back because it was over half of our order. When he arrived she was very rude and told my husband I had given her the wrong name and number. We ordered online through door dash. It says chow mein or chop suey. We got chop suey, we called and ask and they said that it was chow mein. I've never had chow mein with no noodles. She had an attitude as if I was wrong for the confusion. Eggs rolls were good, cheese puffs were good. General tso chicken was chewy, beef was chewy and overkill with cabbage. The roasted pork is very much a hit or miss.. I recommended my friend to come here once and the pork had an awful stench. If the restaurant is not busy, which it often isn't, they give customers pork that was made the previous day and try to pass it off as fresh. Also, we recently ordered a tilapia fish and asked to have it cleaned. When the owner brought it in the kitchen, they swapped the fish I picked for a much bigger one that must've been cleaned and stored a day or two ago. Again, they tried to pass it off as "fresh". The fish was very mushy and clearly not the same one we selected. I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

We've ordered from here twice now. I see others touting their traditional Chinese menu which we don't get stuck in our door, so we order the Am-Chinese food everyone is familiar with. We think it's good and priced competitively. Veggies are crisp, meat is tender and cooked. Wor Wonton Soup is very good and not too salty which allows you to kick it up to your liking with some soy sauce. We aren't super impressed with the ribs on the Po Po platter and the egg rolls could use some more meat in them along with maybe a couple of napkins/liners under them in the delivery box as the part that touches the bottom styro tends to get soft and squishy but otherwise they are crisp (probably not an issue if you are dining there). They do offer duck (1/2 or whole) but if we're doing duck we aren't ordering it to go and having it sweat in the styro - that's a definite dine-in experience if you ask us. The portions aren't massive but at least for us an appetizer (po po or otherwise) along with the soup and a single order of something works out fine for dinner for both of us and a lunch the next day for one of us. If you order two items, then it should pretty much satisfy even hearty eaters with some left over. I think next time we'll go in and see what's on that "secret menu" that others talk about. In the meantime - if you want some Chinese delivery and are in the area, give them a call. read more

We've dined in and had take out multiple times and the food is always good. They give large portions and is relatively cheap. The down side is that there's a waitress with short red hair who is very rude and gives dirty looks and is the reason we stopped coming. The lucky times i've had a different waitress they are always friendly. read more

Love this place! It's newer than the other old established Chinese restaurants but the food is amazing! I think it's better than Great Wall honestly. The roasted pork here is the best in Arizona. I order a huge dish and then when I'm eating left overs re toast it and it's amazing still. The dishes are really authentic and great priced tons of parking and the service is really fast and great. I think they are actually more attentive than the standard asian joint. They serve oranges at the end of the meal and it's just a perfect dinner every time. The owner is really nice and will help you pick out stuff from the menu. Oh yeah the salt and pepper shrimp is amazing too. Enjoy! read more

Good news for West Valley peeps who love live seasonal seafood dishes!! This local Chinese restaurant just started serving live lobsters, and crabs prepared with ginger & scallions, or salt & pepper style. Seasonal delicacy such as spot prawns were a welcoming delight for a huge seafood foodie such as myself. That being said, the 2 must order dishes here besides the seafood dishes are roasted duck and roasted pork. Let's breakdown the roasted duck. Since the head chef here only roast no more than 5 ducks at one time, their ducks don't sit around for very long. For this reason, the duck meat is always tender and juicy due to its freshness. Next, we have the delicious roasted pork. The skin was crispy and the meat was tender and juicy again. This is only my second visit to this establishment, so these are the only few dishes I can recommend for now, but I'm definitely looking forward to trying more dishes from their menu. read more
