The staff was super nice and we had a great experience initially but on the way out we were yelled at for walking by the owners truck. His truck was blocking the exit and he had his friends hanging out all around it and blocking the path around it. When we tried to pass on the other side of his truck, he promptly yelled at us that that was the wrong way! He was concerned the bats would scratch his truck. Maybe he shouldn't park blocking the exit of a batting cage if he is worried about bats scratching his truck? Just super unprofessional of the owner in my opinion. I totally get if there are rules. It his place at the end of the day but he could have been polite about the situation but instead chose to be rude and yell at my kids. Enough for me not to come back and recommend others to go elsewhere.

The free games were the blue tap games, so you don't earn tickets, but there were still a ton of fun options. We didn't even come close to using the full 3 hours because there was so much to do. My favorites were the basketball games and Connect 4 basketball. We played a few rounds of laser tag, which was super fun, but a lot of the equipment seemed broken that day. They also couldn't split us into teams, so everyone was playing individually instead. The go-karts were really fun for a group we got a whole round to just our coworkers. Some of the karts definitely felt faster than others, which made things interesting. We also did mini golf, and the course was much bigger than I expected. It took quite a while to get through all the holes. One thing to note is that the rides don't always have staff standing by them. If you want to ride something, you may have to find an employee and ask them to operate it. Overall, there was honestly more to do than we could fit into the 3 hours. We didn't even get to everything we wanted to try. Despite a few operational issues, we had a really fun time and felt like the event package offered a lot of value.

Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and I have to say the customer service was absolutely amazing. We ordered a round of mini golf for three players, because our fourth was free (4 y.o. and under get to play for free. Rad!). Carlos went out of his way to make sure we were included into a special that they were running for the holiday, and even gave us a card for the arcade. We got to have fun as a family, laugh, and make memories today that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much to the team at Boomers of Irvine for making this Mother's Day one to remember.

It's always clean, there are many decent fast meal options, and it feels relaxing under the palm trees on springy days. Inside, you have so many options to game--from Mario Brothers to Space Invaders. You can fall down a video game rabbit hole here. Also, the bumper cars are lit up and Lazer Tag is calling all players. There's a cafeteria-style "common hall" serving up pizza, nachos, hot dogs, fries, and bevvies. Outside, the bumper boats are a refreshing way to cool down. You can see that the staff works hard at maintaining the grounds. There's always someone working on the many pools and water features when I go. Overall, the greens are in good shape. Sure, a ball may stick, but it's a game. Mulligans and astro turf hiccups are par for this course. Want to practice random kindness? If you see a bottle on the ground, feel free to recycle in the receptacle placed by the tee box. It's nice that they thought to have as many receptacles as they did. It really helps keep the place tidy. The staff is young & laid back yet attentive. One clean sweep across all 4 courses at the opening of each AM shift, however, could help keep it 100% litter-free. See, I warned you--I had nothing but good things to say about Camelot Golfland. Will be back! Once I get the go again from my Sir Lancelot to brave the journey to Anaheim, we'll return for a 6-minute tournament to ride the Go Carts like chariots.

Bought a Groupon for a two week summer camp for my two boys 10 and 12. What a joke! First they…read moredidn't honor the dates listed on the Groupon. This I found out after multiple attempts of getting ahold of Kim, the program director. Apparently, she is not a big believer in returning phone messages. Second, they did not honor one of the activities promised on their summer camp schedule. I was told due to poor sales the kids would only be participating in the other summer volleyball and soccer clinics for four hours every day. THIS IS NOT WHAT WAS ADVERTISED NOR WHAT I PAID FOR! Also, did not receive the three camp shirts or water bottle listed on the Groupon and on their poster at the front of the center. When I spoke to Kim to complain, I was immediately offered a pro-rated refund. There was no effort to rectify the lack of activities to provided because it was not "cost effective" for them. I spoke to Kim's boss, Darrick, and was told he would try and find a solution to my concerns. This was after a 40 minute phone call with me just asking for ONE activity to be included in the morning activities that was advertised on their Groupon and company website. After another parent called to complain to Darrick (this parent paid the full $350 camp fee) I received a phone call from Kim telling me they were canceling the camp immediately (camp started Monday, this occurred Wednesday) and I would receive a full refund. I asked if every child was being canceled and I was told yes. However, at the time of this review, not every parent received this same phone call. What a lousy way to run your business and a child's summer camp. The promoted product had great promise, but between Kim and Darrick and I will never return to the this center again. And I will certainly spread the word about their false advertising and lack of organization!

To be honest, I'd much prefer attending parties than planning them myself, mostly because I'm not very organized and a bit of a worry-wart. In any case, the event turned out pretty fun, according to the guests. The facility was easy to find and just right off the freeway. The indoor sports area was huge and we lucked out and got the whole place to ourselves that day! The play area seemed well maintained and clean, even the restrooms (which is quite important to us). But the reason why this deserves 5 stars was the party coordinator (Gilbert) who was assigned to us. He was awesome...very attentive to our needs. He seemed to know what we needed before we even knew what we needed, like setting up extra tables, chairs, etc and all with a great attitude! It made part of my party planning a lot less stressful. This helped a lot because the caterer we hired (vendor not associated with Smack Center) totally bombed on the food. The enjoyable venue helped improved the experience for us, for sure! Thanks guys!
