I just happen to find this little spot and it's for sure a hidden gem. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent! I had a seafood noddle like soup and it was amazing! I started it off with calamari and a tai chi lemonade and finish of with a seafood dish I can't pronounce it but it was a noddle soup with combo seafood, they say it's their popular dish and I can believe it! This is one of my top Thai places of all time around the world and yes I have been to Thailand. They other two places that come to this level are in Kamakura Japan and Falls Church Virginia. The place is tiny. It's very much a small business. It feels like there's only one chef and one waitress. They are handling business just fine. I don't mind at all that it's tiny. In fact I love it. The waitress was very friendly. She recommended the Isan Sausage appetizer. That was so good that I ordered another. You can see the rest of the dishes in my pics. All of them were a hit. There was no dish we didn't like. The crispy pork was crispy in the right way. The noodles with the crab soup was so rich and delicious. One mistake we make was not understanding the spicy levels properly. We ordered one dish at 7/10 spiciness and we really couldn't handle it at all. The other ones at level 5/10 were just right. I love the spice tray but there really was no need. All the dishes were spiced the right amount already. We ordered a lot and we were already full but we used our dessert stomach to order mango sticky rice. Whoa, their mangoes are really sweet in the right way. One of the best Thai I've ever had. We had dinner here Monday around 5 PM and ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, Thai sausage, and papaya salad. The food tasted fine at the time. By about 11 PM both my wife and I became very sick with severe diarrhea that lasted for two days. We ate the same dishes and the timing strongly suggests food poisoning. This was a pretty rough experience. Getting sick for two days after a meal is not something anyone expects from a restaurant. We ordered dinner last night and it was delivered promptly. That's the only positive news about a very disappointing dinner. The spring rolls were large and almost all lettuce as the main ingredient and a side note the lettuce was bitter making the dish unpleasant. The Rangoon were small and looked like they came out of the frozen section at Smith's. The Thai sausage was dry tastless and lacked any remembrance of this dish from other Thai restaurants Lastly the Chicken Pad Thai was a completely unrecognizable dry and in a word BAD Don't waste your time on this Thai Restaurant I called with my concerns and was told to call Uber Eats LOL read more

Stumbled on this Thai place from another food reviewer's rec. It's a cute little spot, not much else around in this strip mall, but obviously lots of parking. The place was nice and empty when we got there, so the service was very attentive and fast! We really enjoyed our two dishes - eggplant stir fry with chicken and a pad thai with fried pork. You could smell the wok in the kitchen from the dining area. Our server was very friendly and helpful! They had a few take out orders while we were eating there, so maybe that's the bulk of their customer base. I'd go back if we needed a Thai fix in the SE area. read more

Stopped by here for a quick dinner. It'd a nice quaint spot located on Las Vegas Blvd in a strip mall. Easy parking. I had the pad see eww with tofu. I had not been here in a while. We used to pick up food often on our way to red rock area to hike or go to super summer theater. With a 1 year old in our life those things had taken a pause for a while. We finally decided go we would adventure out for the night and grab some take out. I ordered ahead on the phone, and was able to get through the first try. She was friendly and let me know what my total would be. We got the chicken satay, the khao soi beef, and papaya salad. The chicken satay was super tender and full of flavor, and the peanut sauce was perfect. They make there cucumber salad a bit more like a relish thats heavy on the onion, but I think it pairs great with the dish. The Khao soi beef was packed with flavor. I got a level 3 out of 10 and wouldn't say the spice was noticeable. The meat was tender, and the noodles and pickled veg were so yummy to dip in the sauce. The papaya salad fell flat for me. I remember liking it more in the past. It had no acid from the lime or depth from the fish sauce I'm used to. I got spice level one because without fat content some times even low spice can kick me in the throat a bit. Plus some spots can go wild when I think Im being safe with a 3, but maybe that choice impacted the flavor here. Although I will say I have had level 1 elsewhere, and still had plenty of flavor. Overall grabbing food here was a good reminder that I need to put it back on my rotation. read more

This is my first time trying this place. A place to order online the Shrimp Pad See Ew. There was another review that said it was really good. I was only six minutes away and the order was ready when I got there. It was 5pm on a Saturday And nobody else was there. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and the broccoli was nice and crispy. The dish also had flavor. Unfortunately the noodles were overcooked, which was disappointing since it's a noodle dish. I will try it again because it was so flavorful. Tried out their second location on the edge of the strip. The food and ambiance were no different than the other location, Great. The service is always top notch and the food was so so good. I love a restaurant that no matter which location you visit they keep doing everything right. The first location we tried was in the Art District down Las Vegas and this location was just as good. I had Phad Thai and my friend had Pad Kee Mo and both dishes were ample, tasty and fresh. We also enjoyed the egg rolls which were good also. Mom & Pop shop Bringing in that BIG RESTAURANT ENERGY!! This place was delicious. A hidden gem spot that we stumbled upon while visiting Vegas. The ambiance and deco/ theme were beautiful for a small place, it would probably fit around ~24 ppl comfortably, mixed chairs and cushioned benches for sitting. The food was amazing, I came there for the khao Soi because I had it once at a different restaurant and now I'm on this journey to try khao soi at every Thai restaurant that serves it. Food ordered: Khao soi beef- spicy lvl 4 Crab fried rice- spicy lvl 0 Pad see ew chicken- spicy lvl 4 Spicy basil chicken -spicy lvl 2 Thai fried rice chicken- spicy lvl 0 Spicy lvl differ because some in our party did not do spicy food as well as the kids. But even without the spicy essence the food still tasted delicious. And of course we were still able to add spice from the side condiments. With the spicy level we had on some of our dishes we could have gone 5 or 6 based off our spicy tolerance level. I do like spicy food but have cut back off because prefer to taste the food on how it is without having the spicy level being over powering. Back to the khao soi- it was delicious as mentioned with all the other dishes. I wanted to lick the bowl dry. Now my experience of this dish is very minimal but I do plan to expand that but overall I give it 2 chefs kiss. Service was exceptional , our party of 5 and another party of 2 were the only patrons in the restaurant. So service was attentive. I would definitely give this place try if you're in the area. What a hidden gem!!!!!! Tiny little spot with huge flavor from the Thai cuisine. I have been here a few times now and all the dishes have been delicious. The Pad Thai was on point and flavorful. It was a nice size portion with a good amount of pork. The yellow curry was excellent and so far my favorite dish here at D E Thai. Generous portion of chicken, properly prepared vegetables with a great curry sauce. The rice was fresh and well prepared. The Tom Yom soup was a bit spicier than I like but I did ask for a 7. Next time I will do a 5 or 6. The broth had good depth and it had the right balance of meat and vegetables. The restaurant itself is very small but intimate. The wood benches on the wall and the wood chairs are not the most comfortable but they are ok for a meal. Just don't plan on lingering too long. I will coming here regularly! read more

Let me begin by saying this is a great place for Thai Food. Very local and real taste. We tried spicy level 10 and it was real spicy. So, if you are not a big fan of spicy food, be sure to lower your spice level down. This place is right at the South Las Vegas Blvd, not too far from the strip. A casual place, nothing fancy. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They seem to know what they are doing. I am glad that I tried this place. I wish I could go back to this place again. But who knows? This place is a gem. I'm really glad I found this place while searching for a Thai place. Not many Thai restaurants serve Thai boat noodle because it's really hard to make. But this place makes their Boat noodle broth from scratch with authentic ingredients. The fried cat fish is a must to try as well. It goes really well with the fried basil they added as garnish. The koh mooh yang goes really well with sticky rice and you can't have sticky rice without the Larb. The thai tea lemonade was sweet and sour, and refreshing. The service was impeccable. I got two entrees for myself. Lol. The pad see ewe was lacking flavor to me and the beef was pretty tough. I didnt like the veggies. But the crunchy stuff on top was kinda nice. The basil chicken was nice though. A little too saucy, so I added more rice when I got home. It was really tasty the next day. Level 2 spicy was very mild so If you want a kick get 3+. I used to go to this place when they opened up 2 years ago and the service was not up to standard so i stopped ordering. However, i found myself back recently due to me being in the area and really hungry so i gave it another go. Jenny is newer i believe and friendly and helped me with my first and most recent order. The food is delicious I've had the pad prik king with chicken the pineapple fried rice and satay. I like that the satay is off the stick because the chicken is cooked more thoroughly. Prices are comparable to nearby Thai restaurants and they do give 10% discount for military. read more

If I were just to rate my experience on the chef in the back yelling at the server for taking my Pad Thai to exchange for a different option- I'd give this restaurant a 1 star. If it's not made properly and somethings wrong, just kindly swap it out or take it off the bill, or just take it away quietly and I'll still pay for it. BUT TO YELL AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS FROM THE KITCHEN, it's SO BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL AND OFF PUTTING. The man was screaming at her so loud for trying to swap my dish that I began shaking. I even approached her counter to try to clarify that I'd pay for whatever, and that I could not believe he was screaming.. (not quite sure she understood). It was bad guys, I ordered green curry instead and like a champ she tried to oblige and work with our table the best she could.. but did I truly enjoy my meal? Did anyone? Literally TERRIBLE, how could we? With someone screaming SO LOUDLY? We have supported this Thai joint on every trip we make from LA for takeout, especially during COVID. It's SO disappointing what happened today, and honestly I don't think we will be back. I hope the cook/man yelling in the back doesn't destroy someone else's experience, and I also hope that this business understands that it is OK, for a customer to be dissatisfied at times. My meal at D E Thai Kitchen 2 was probably one of the best Thai foods I've had in a while. They have two locations, #1 in downtown Las Vegas and #2 on Las Vegas Blvd/Windmill. Neither are particularly close to me, but I came across the restaurant while searching for a place serving Thai boat noodles to satisfy my craving and decided to venture out. It is definitely a hidden gem found in a Smith's grocery store plaza. It's a small restaurant, with about 6 tables and is very clean. Service is very prompt and friendly. I ordered the Thai Boat Noodles and the Spicy catfish, both were very tasty, high quality, and super fresh! The serving size of the boat noodles was quite large and is perfectly hot, savory, and comforting. The catfish is super crispy and flavorful. Their Thai Tea is made with coconut milk, which I've never had before, it's an good combination and the coconut milk is rich, creamy, and the flavor definitely comes through. One issue I had was when I ordered water, I was told they aren't serving tap water because it's recently been having a strong chlorine smell, and they could only offer bottled water. I agreed not thinking much of it, and when I got the bill, they charged $2 for a Dasani water bottle. read more
