Tried this place recently and it's not bad. Was seated right away and the waiter gave water. They have a good amount of items on their menu but ended up ordering brisket pho, vermicelli noodles w/ grilled pork and egg rolls, and spring rolls. The food came pretty fast. The brisket on the pho were thicker than other places but they give a good amount. There's barely any fat on there and I prefer that! The vermicelli noodles were delish. And the spring rolls were also good, the peanut sauce wasn't watery. The waiter ensured to check up but also didn't rush when we were done eating. Oh yeah They play good music too! Will def come back.

I've been going to Pho Saigon 8 for years between all their locations but this location by South Point (Silverado and LV Blvd) is by my neighborhood. Space and nice and clean. Service is quick and friendly. The flavor of their broth is really good and balanced. I typically get their rare steak and beef ball. In the summer I love getting the grilled pork & egg roll with rice vermicelli noodles...so refreshing with the sauce that comes with it.

Our first visit here and our last. Disappointed in the lack of flavor in the spring rolls and shrimp fried rice. The pho broth is sweet which really threw me off. I've never had broth like that so it was hard to finish.

So a few years ago, we had made plans to go to Pho Saigon 8 on Silverado Ranch, but we accidentally stumbled inside The Golden Pot directly next door instead. While The Golden Pot was excellent, we finally decided to try out Pho Saigon 8. I try to dine in at restaurants as much as possible, but Kyle doesn't like going out and being social, so he would rather do takeout and eat food in front of the TV instead of dining in. We placed an order through DoorDash to have it picked up as soon as possible, with them located just down the street from his house. When we got there, our food was ready in a matter of minutes. Our food choices were the Pho Tom Noodles for me, the Bun Ga Nong Chicken for Kyle, and a thing of potstickers for us to share. My entree came with a cup of soup that was served separately, in which I put my noodles inside of. I ended up pouring the soup in a large bowl when we got back, but I poured it too quickly and some of it spilled on my hands. Luckily for me, the soup was not scalding hot! Served with my noodles were shrimp and chopped onions and scallions as toppings. Kyle's toppings also consisted of chopped scallions and egg rolls. The noodles were excellent but it took a while for me to break them up in the soup. The shrimp that came with it was also delicious, too. Kyle said that he enjoyed his chicken and egg rolls. Overall, great Pho place. I'd like to dine in here next time.

This was my go to pho shop in Las Vegas for the price and quality for many years, but that is no longer the case. They have new ownership since I last visited. The prices are too high and quantity is much less. The pho soup was not hot rather lukewarm and the taste was lackluster. The noodles were soggy and peppers were not hot. Definitely not the fresh ingredients that they advertise about. The spring rolls were meh not freshly made that's for sure most likely pre-made. Worst yet they require tip for zero service. They don't check in and you need signal to them to order otherwise they won't come to you. It is no longer affordable and I left with a stomach ache. The saving grace is they did a renovation to make the atmosphere brighter and spacious especially for families.

My family and I were in the area. We ordered egg spring rolls and pho! If this place was closer to home, I would make this my go to for pho. The soup lasted temperature hot throughout the seating which I love. Restaurant was clean and service was great!

Though Vegas has SO many restaurants to try, I find myself here at least every three months. It's just so comforting and I know exactly what I'm going to get. The broth is incredible and they keep me coming back for more. The soup is very flavorful and the love love love tendons. So good! The only complaint I have is they give you too many bean sprouts on the side. I never finish them and feel bad they get thrown out

Shangs Noodle was one of my favorite meals that I ate while in Vegas this time around. The noodles are fresh and every dish tastes so good. Just full of flavor with every bite. The beef noodle soup was my favorite and we shared it between 5 people because we ordered a lot but I could've easily devoured that bowl on my own. The cucumber salad is some of the prettiest presentation I have seen. The presentation of every dish was so pretty and drool worthy. It's a big space with lots of seating but because of how popular it is, it gets packed. The fried rice reminds me of DTF in that it's very moist but flavorful. The dumplings were so good too in the chili oil. I'm not a dan dan noodles girl so that was my least favorite dish. I tried a little bit of it and there is definitely a kick - I don't think you can adjust the spice level so beware. The staff does warn you when you order that dish. If it's too hot and there are spots on the bench, I recommend waiting inside. You are seated next to the window where you can watch them prep the noodles.

As a self proclaimed asian food snob, I think this place falls into the jack of all trades category, since the customer demographic is wide and varied, they'd want a place that would have a little bit of everything rather than a specialty place known for one thing. We ordered the following: oriental fried rice / soy fry flat rice noodles / mixed vegetables sauteed in garlic / hainan chicken rice / roast duck noodle soup /xo green bean All of which are a good entry level dishes towards authentic asian food. Even taking into account the hike in prices by being on the strip, I think it's slightly overpriced for the wait we had to go through. Upon entering, it gives a nice upscale/casual asian cafe aesthetic going for it. The aesthetic is clean, opulent and simple.

However, I think the difference is getting the hand pulled this time instead of the knife cut. The noodles weren't as greasy as last time and honestly are less greasy than cheaper places now that I've had a chance to re-try the old school Vegas Chinese (looking at Pick Up Stix, China A Go-Go, Noodle Master...). Knife cut sounds appealing but it ends up being too doughy for me. I craved dumplings but just about everywhere serves them up fried (unless you want to enter the world of dim sum madness) so I took advantage of the ability to customize almost anything on their menu. It kind of backfired, looking at the stack of 5 containers I got. Two had sauce and two had wontons in it. They were delicious but I think I'll revise how I order next time. At least I got an assortment of containers to take home and reuse! Service was a little slow this time around. The host prioritized the phone over people standing in front of her and took forever with the lady in front of me once she hung up. I could see my bag of takeout that I'd paid for sitting on the counter and my fingers itched to just grab it and leave. Glad I restrained myself, but annoying just the same. Her apology was mechanical and automatic so I guess she does that a lot. Smirk.

It is located in a strip mall with an abundance of convenient parking. Inside, they had nice tables and bench seating and also had a couple of nice sized round tables with lazy Susans for larger families. We arrived around 7:30-ish and it was quiet with one or two other parties dining. Their take-out business appeared to be robust, which was a good sign that they must be doing something right with their offerings. Menu is pretty standard fair. Noodles in broth with beef shank, various dumplings, rice plates and dry noodle dishes. We started with the deep fried spring rolls which were tasty. The wrapping was very thin and delicate and had a nice crunch for each bite. There are six in an order, which is a great value. Wife ordered the Lucky Beef Noodle which has a mildly spicy broth. She asked for half the normal amount of noodles, as she feels that the noodles end up soaking up a lot of broth. I ordered the Beef Soup with Dumplings, which is basically what my wife ordered without the noodles. I wanted noodles added, so they were gracious and added the noodles my wife did not want to my order. The broth was flavorful and mild, not much of a kick. But the pork and cabbage dumplings included in my order were out of this world delicious and paired perfectly with the beef and its broth. I highly recommend this specific dish! If you are in search for Taiwanese food, give them a shot. Good quality, fresh food that is nicely flavored!
