Love delias grinders always pick up a loaf of their bread too, delicious as always. They are following all the rules imposed with covid-19. Don't bother going if you don't have a mask, one customer at a time allowed in. Door is kept open so you don't have to bother, credit card kiosk right there in front of you so no back and forth exchanges with hands. Brought in my Clorox wipe to touch the credit card screen. Abysmal customer service, especially when ordering online. The last time I went in to pickup an order, when I got home, I found out that had screwed up my order and shorted me about $5 worth of food. I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt. So I ordered from them again today I was told that my order would be ready at 1:30, and half an hour later it still was not ready and they could not tell me when it would be. The 'manager', I believe her name is Becky, was completely useless and unhelpful, you would be better off talking to a wall. Let me preface this by saying I've been a lifelong Delia's lover. I compared every sandwich I ever ate to Delia's...and no one ever measured up. It seems over the last two or so years things have changed. The sandwiches just aren't the same. The last few times I've ordered my order was incorrect. Not sure how difficult it is to follow instructions (I worked at a sandwich place at 16). First time, no big deal, must be a mistake, second time hmmmm, third time ok really? The people that work there either don't care or are inept. Each time I have ordered the loaded veggie and have asked for ALL the veggies that are available as an add on in addition to the ones that are supposed to be included. Not difficult right? First time, the sandwich was missing sprouts, second time: missing olives, third time missing cucumbers. May I add that all the these items are listed as ingredients that are supposed to come on the loaded veggie?! The sandwiches aren't loaded with toppings either so the description is inaccurate. They are also very dry so I asked for extra oil on the sandwich but of course this instruction is never followed either. Surprise surprise. Everything i used to love about Delia's grinders is no longer. They used to be so flavorful and packed with lettuce and tomatoes... I can't even describe how good they used to be. I thought it was a fluke but after several disappointing visits I will no longer chase the unicorn of the perfect Delia's grinder. It simply no longer exists. I've attached photos of my sad "unloaded" veggie sandwich from today. Nothing loaded about it. I get the bread is the selling point but don't cut corners by barely putting any toppings and missing ingredients. My life long love affair is now over :( read more

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is sometimes I have gone to pick up my phone order and have to get behind the regular order line and it can take much longer to get my order that's sitting there ready to go. This was my first time and last time here! Sandwich was OK but what's up with the hard ass bread?! The roof of my mouth is sore from eating that hard sandwich. Kind of pricey, I paid over $12 for a whole sandwich. I got the turkey, bacon and avocado. The young man at the counter didn't seem certain what came on it when I asked. I definitely feel like I wasted my money and would have liked Jersey Mike's much better. Shoot, even Subway would have been more worth it! read more

D'Elia's has gotten really disappointing lately. They used to be my go to sandwich place in Riverside. But, they have really cut down on the amount of meat they put on the sandwich. And, the prices have gone up several dollars for the same sandwich. Also, just today, I had to wait about 45 minutes from the time I put my order in until I finally got my sandwich. That's just not acceptable! At Jimmy John's I usually wait less than five minutes between the time I put in my order and the time I have the sandwich in hand. And, they put lots of meat in their sandwiches! Guess where I will be going from now on! read more

I used to go out of my way to go eat at Delia's. I went there today, I was so disappointed, it cost me 22.00 for two regular turkey and avacado sandwich. they put one then slice if turkey and two slices of rotten avacado and a two slices of tomatoes which one of them was the core of the tomatoe there was no oil on the sandwich. And the macaroni salad was Brown, and tasted old. So disappointing. read more

Management has much to be desired at the University location poor management on Superbowl Sunday!!! Another disappointment at D'Elia's. Ordered 5 ft longs and paid online ($60.) 4 days in advance for Superbowl. Received confirmation...Fast forward. I arrived at 2:00 pm my pickup time stood in line for 50 minutes to be told at the counter my order had been cancelled which at the time I had not been notified. A minute later I received my order cancellation while at the counter discussing order with counter help. Lady in front called in her phone order in this morning had not paid and needless to say she walked out with her grinder not to mention they were taking walkin orders regardless of the large amount of people waiting to pickup what had already been ordered. read more

After church today my husband and I were looking for a place to grab lunch on our way home. The place he always goes to "My Hero Subs" was closed so when we drove by this spot we decided to give it a try. Not bad. They are known for their bread according to the marketing and the bread was pretty good. Odd because it's suuuuper dry (mine especially because I don't like oil on my subs) but somehow it just works! :) The cashier was a young girl, friendly and helped walk us through the menu since we were newbies to the place. The restaurant was very busy inside so you know it must have its dedicated customers. Over 60 yrs of business and definitely a place we might come back to. Definitely 200% better than your chain Subway. Shop local! read more

Horrible customer service! I ordered and paid on line. When I arrived to pick up my order I had to wait one hour. People that were there After me and ordered there were served before I was. I asked why and the cashier said because I ordered online and my ticket was on a different round rail. about 4 other customers were complying also because of the wait. The lady behind the counter in purple hair was making comments regarding them "getting that stair" taking her time chatting. It's definitely NOT the same service that they used to have! I had been going there since I was about 20 years old and I'm now 50. I hope someone sees this and actually makes changes! read more

A riverside main stay for over 50 years the subs and the special Dutch crunch bread has been satisfying the lunch crowd here, the best sandwiches are the D'sicilian & the steak sandwich , you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches though , everything is made fresh including the fries. read more

This place has gone down hill trash on the floor dirty tables food on floor behind the counter. Ok i eat here often, todaywent with cold ham& pzastrami. Icheckef the ingrients, i cant believe how thin theslice of meat was... 2slicetotal...wow no wonder i couldnt taste the ham or. This place use to be the best ssndwich shop. The food was as excellent as the service. I don't know what happened, but the service is awful now. I ordered a loaded veggie today. I got 2 pieces of bread with lettuce, tomato and Swiss cheese. I complained and they made me another sandwich. Ordered some fries to go and gave the food to my wife. She said the fries were hard to chew and one end of the sandwich was soggy. This place has awful management obviously. It is a shame. My family has been eating D'elias food for over 50 years. Ordered the D'loaded cheese steak, which uses cubed chuck meat or some variation. Dry. Chewy. Tasteless. The cheese was congealed. Peppers and onions almost non existent. Akin to eating what I would imagine is congealed balls of sand. Bread was nice, though. 0/10, would not recommend. read more

NEVER AGAIN! I placed an online order at 11:38am (I ORDERED 3 SANDWICHES) & they sent me an email confirmation saying it was going to be ready at 12:10pm. I get here at 12:14pm and the "MANAGER" claims that they never got the order when I have the receipt as well as the email confirmation that SAYS IT WILL BE READY AT 12:10. We always order the meatball sub. It was not what we expected to get. All bread, very little sauce and the meat balls were tiny. we ordered extra cheese and did not recieve that but paid.
