    The misleading receipt
    Ian Neil G.

First of, we went to this venue to support our friend who's part of a band that they were showcasing. Food was rather disappointing, the supposedly crunchy and somewhat meaty sisig was just pure fat. Texture was meh and taste was forgettable. Their pancit was very tasty though and the bangus as well. The reason I'm giving em two stars was coz of how they charged us, it seemed misleading. They want us to pay 'suggested gratuity' after already including $12.20 for a party of 4! Good thing I checked before Signing!

I was at an event, ordered calamari for $14.95. Got like 12 pieces... so each piece of mediocre calamari cost over $1. Outrageous. Also it was cold in the venue... everyone was wearing jackets the whole time.

Had a great time doing ballroom and party. Great crowd too!! The owner teach me some dance tips too! I used to do ballroom dance during my younger years and this place reminds me of great memories. We are visiting from Upstate NY and this place is a great place to be if you want good vibes. There is also live bands on the other side but we chose ballroom dancing. Will go here again once we visit city,

D'Haven, it is a little hidden haven in Queens. I attended a birthday celebration here last weekend and they said there will be ballroom dancing. I was expecting a lousy lounge with a dance floor but heyyy!... I had a great time here! Indeed it was a ballroom party but non-stop fun music that makes you grove whether you know how to dance or not. They have excellent service. Really good tasty food. And warm classy ambiance. Dress to impress! And wear your dancing shoes ladies. There are two separate sections here, i guess for private functions and for everyone where live music keep you swaying the night away. Bring a date. Bring your friends! It's fun! And don't forget to try their "Apple Martini ". I would definitely go back.

A hidden gem in Woodside! We been here 4 times and quite honestly it is flawless establishment. We come here when there's an event such as live band and it is fun environment. But if you're into ballroom dancing and just wanted to have a good time dancing, this place is great! The service was attentive, friendly and remembered us from our last visit! Food was innovative, cooked perfectly, beautifully presented and good proportion. Ex: The crispy pata, sizzling sisig to match with red horse beer. If you want to have a good time with friends dancing, singing along to a live performer with great food and great service. Try this place out, you won't be disappointed.

The place has changed a bit, slightly different decor from the last time we were there. The atmosphere was more "bakya" than Kabayan (from across the street). Still nice. They kept the bar, which is good. The staff was friendly, but kind of rushed us to get our orders before the show started. They explained it would have been more difficult to take orders later. The food was really, really good. All the flavors were on point. For the appetizer, we had some Crispy Chicken Skins. It was nice and crispy, but it needed some more salt. We had the Port Belly Kare-Kare, Beef Salpicao, the Pancit Palabok, Laing and Gambas. The one that stole the show was the Bagnet. That was mind blowing! Very flavorful and I highly recommend it. Dare I say that the food was better than Kabayan. The Key Of C band rocked the whole night through. Everyone was dancing and enjoying the great music. It was such a fun-filled night. Definitely worth coming back to whether it's for the food or the music.

The chicken barbecue sticks were flavorful and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the lumpia Shanghai didn't quite hit the mark for me :( it tasted like it was fried in older oil, and the filling was very minimal, so it felt like mostly wrapper. I was most excited to try the pork sinigang. While the broth had good flavor, the pork didn't taste freshly cooked and came across as if it may have been made a day or two prior. Overall, I really liked the vibe of this place and the friendly service, which makes me hopeful that my next visit will be better. I'd definitely be open to giving it another try.

Famous for its charcoal-grilled skewers and communal Kamayan platters, the restaurant delivers an authentic, down-to-earth dining experience. The sweet-and-savory grilled pork and chicken skewers are undisputed crowd-pleasers. They are caramelized to perfection and pair beautifully with garlic rice. The restaurant offers multi-person platters served on banana leaves. It's a great, interactive way for groups to try a variety of meats and seafood. Beyond the grill, fans frequently praise the crispy pata (fried pork knuckle), lumpia(spring rolls), and kare-kare (oxtail in peanut sauce). Widely considered one of the most reasonably priced spots for quality Filipino cuisine in the borough. The dining room is located on the second floor. It has a lively, casual atmosphere that often features loud music. While many diners highlight the friendly and humorous service, online reviews show mixed opinions about customer service, with some visitors citing occasional long wait times or abrupt interactions at the takeout counter. Still, it is a pleasant place to have a meal when opting for Filipino food.

I was amazed with the massive portions, incredibly tender pork BBQ, and rich Kare-Kare. Despite the unassuming exterior and small four-table dining room, it offers excellent value. No questions about the authenticity of traditional plates. Diners like me love the Bulalo (beef marrow stew), crispy pata, and the tender barbecued pork. The Halo-Halo and okoy also get high marks for texture and flavor. While the flavor is spot-on, on-the-ground diner consensus on the dining room is extremely cozy (fitting only a few tables), so wait times can climb during peak hours. The menu occasionally features unexpected ingredient variations--for example, costumers agree that the Tinolang Tahong (mussels) leans closer to a ginger-heavy broth rather than being sautéed, adding a pleasant home-cooked twist.
