My coworkers and I were very excited to purchase some food and support this business, but unfortunately it was not good at all. I ordered 2 of the chicken and shrimp plates and my total was $47! Everything tasted sour, the sauce on the enchiladas was sour and had a funny taste. The beans were sour as well. And I saw that they use instant Bens rice and it was not good. Hello DaJohn, I appreciate that you responded and offered to make things right. That is honorable. But in all honesty, your server was very clear in what she stated, never once offering to remake the order at all. She literally told me I could trash it or give it away and there was no mistaking her nasty disposition and ugly tone. As grown as we are and as long as we've been eating food, I'm sure it is not hard to tell when it has been overcooked, and sure enough, I was not able to eat it and had my daughter throw it out as it wasn't fit for consumption. The money spent is the least of my concern, it was the level of contempt and disregard for the situation. Have you ever heard the saying "You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar?" Well, that saying could have easily been applied in this situation. A simple apology and actual offer to either remake the food or perhaps an offer of extra fries or a few wings of a different flavor could have gone a long way in rectifying the issue and would have made all the difference in having a happy customer that would sing your praises, as opposed to a disgruntled one who felt insulted enough to leave a damning public review. I get that we all have bad days and make mistakes, but one thing about running a business and expecting to grow that business through word of mouth, is that people may not remember what all was said, but they will always remember how you made them feel. Your server was rude and surly and that will forever be my lasting impression of your business. You never know who you might be serving so I would ask that you please keep in mind that one bad apple can spoil the whole cart. The menu shows shrimp and vegetable enchiladas was 12 dollars and chicken fried enchiladas plate was 15 dollars how ever I was charge 38 dollars were the menu should be 27 maybe less than 30 dollar total the lady in the food truck said they upgrade the menu and the new price was not on the menu. I bought enchiladas and chicken wings two days ago in San Pedro. When I completed my purchasing process on the screen of the food truck, the email receipt stage disappeared. I told the lady who was in the truck; she took my e-mail address, and she told me that a receipt had been sent to my email. The receipt never reached my email (Junk was checked). I told her that I needed the receipt because I used my company card, and I must submit this expense with the receipt. She told me that she could not do anything. Aftermath: I told her to cancel my purchasing process. Then she told me that she could give me a receipt, but the system was down at that moment. She gave me a number to reach out to the next day to get the receipt. I reached out to that number to get my receipt; she was not on the truck, and she would get the receipt as soon as possible. Summary I could not get my receipt and wasted my time. As a customer, I have the right to get my receipt. I am not happy at all with the customer management of the food truck. read more

The reviews saying this eatery is good, is absolutely misleading. I ordered the wings, shrimp, chicken enchiladas, and fries. let's start with the wings. I asked for buffalo wings for my wings flavor. When I opened the box, all of my food was swimming in wing sauce. The wings were tough, overcooked, and definitely cheap. the fries were showered in lemon pepper seasoning to the point that I had to scrape off the seasoning with the provided knife (Mind you, I NEVER asked for my fries to be seasoned with anything except salt). Upon closer look, the shrimp was doused in the same lemon pepper seasoning that ruined my fries, along with a ton of coarse pepper. The shrimp was over cooked as well, the mentioned seasonings are not how you season shrimp. The chicken enchiladas were disgusting to say the very least! They used canned chicken along with shredded cheese that somehow never melted under any condition. The entire meal was an absolute waste of money and indicative of why I was the only one in line. please don't give yo ur money to an establishment that doesn't respect the food they're charging you food. read more

Our apartment building, Linea in West LA, had their food truck come to our property last night where we were lucky enough to experience this delicious fusion of seafood and Mexican cuisine. I had the shrimp and chicken enchiladas over fries. The flavor was incredible with a unique blend of savory spices but not too overpowering so that you could not enjoy the perfectly cooked shrimp and chicken. The portions were more than generous at the price point and the two hosts of the truck (one of which was D'Lo himself) were super grateful at the opportunity to showcase their menu and steered me in the right direction to satisfy my not so small appetite with a large plate of food :) The sauce was so good that I opened up a bag of chips I had handy in my apartment to soak up the last few drops at the bottom of the plate since it was too tasteful to have it go to waste. I really hope that our building has them come back soon since myself and all of the other residents I spoke with could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed the food and the experience provided by D Lo's. Of course, MOST importantly, every bit of the dishes were really delicious. My grandmother is 90 and hates spicy food. She did not have one complaint. My son bounced from the fries to shrimp to the enchiladas. None of us added any sauces. We tried chicken, shrimp, shrimp with lobster, and the enchilada fries. I thought the fries concept was pushing it, it was great. The lobster was on point. There was enough left over for a snack later. 4 adults and a growing 11 year old shared.
