The soup was packaged in a tall Styrofoam container with a weak, sloppy lid that broke during delivery. Half the soup ended up in the bag. The Uber driver clearly tried his best, but if your packaging can't survive a normal delivery, that's already a bad sign. What little remained arrived cold. After transferring it to a bowl and reheating it, I discovered the real problem: the broth was swimming in oil. I spent more time skimming grease off the top than I did waiting for the order to arrive. And then there was the salt. This soup was saltier than a fisherman's pants. I managed to eat the chicken, noodles, and egg, but the broth itself was nearly inedible. Had I actually finished the soup, I might have needed a blood pressure monitor afterward.
