When I realized he had his own salon nearby, I quickly booked an appointment. The location is bright and modern. I was greeted with a hug and offered water. She was so kind and I didn't feel rude asking to cut my hair shorter, add a few layers, or to cut bangs (which I have struggled with many salons and hairdressers for so long). I rarely write reviews but I've had such a lovely experience with this new salon and most importantly with Danny that I have to say so! The salon is bright and welcoming and beautifully arranged. But most importantly Danny gave me a great blowout. I don't have the best hair but I left looking like I do and got Dyknig-sydxat-6favxothe exact look I requested. Danny listens to the client and works hard to give you your best possible look. 10/10 recommend for tourists looking for a refresh or treat. After walking the city my hair was in need of a clean and blow dry ready for the theatre. Our hotel shower was not going to do the job. All the staff were super friendly. No hidden fees or agendas. Refreshments were provided and genuinely felt so relaxed in the super clean salon. Absolutely the best cut and blowout I've gotten in New York, I can't stress this enough. I am very picky with who I choose to cut and blowout my hair, and I can finally say I've found my go-to spot. I had a great experience at this new salon. I had come last minute because I mistakenly thought I could give myself front highlights around my face using box dye. David was great and was able to fix it for me with the right color I wanted and even it out. It was a little pricey for a few pieces in the front but that's just what you get in New York. He gave me a very nice and natural balayage and lightened my hair to a nice caramel color just in time for the warmer weather.
