I like how you can come in for a work out and they guide you through a new fitness workout…read more Everyday a new workout. You don't have to be fit to join. They will get you to your next level at your own pace. Group fitness a mixture of cardio and light weights. Cons: You have to pick and book your classes online, and sometime you may get on the waiting list for the hours you chose if the class is full. They will notify you when a spot becomes available. You have to purchase a heart rate monitor and hopefully you don't forget to charge it up or forget to bring it with you to class.

I love the workout I get from the weight floor/cardio combo OTF provides. While visiting Murfreesboro, I saw the OTF and tried to book a class but couldn't find it on the app, so I went to the Mind body website where I was able to sign up for a 6:00 am class. I woke up to a missed call from the studio so I called at 5:30 am only to be told they removed me from the class. They are only allowing their founding members to attend. Since I'm in from out of town and am already familiar with OTF workouts, you'd think I'd be a welcomed addition to a class that still has spots available. The reason they provide is to encourage local people to join early. Since I'm already a member (founding member at another location), you'd think they could have let me complete the workout instead of removing me from the class. Having a member from out of town participate in a class would have zero negative impact on their business. Instead, I'll be in a hotel fitness center. Thanks Murfreesboro.

I approached the Camp Gladiator booth at a local event on June 4th when a rep by the name of Liz…read moreassisted me in joining the trial. She told me there would be a 5:30pm class just down the road from me (less than 1 mile) at a nearby church. I told her I could do that because I lived so close and leave work at 5pm. This is why I signed up for the trial. There was NO mention of no refund or anything if I changed my mind or no longer needed the service. - Upon downloading the app a couple of days later, I realized there was no 5:30pm class at that location but rather one all the way in Murfreesboro (roughly 20-25 mins from me without traffic). I did not want to do the 5am class in the nearby location either so I just wanted to get a refund since I would not benefit from the classes (i did not want to do virtual classes). - 06/09 (Thursday): I called the trainer, Gina and left voicemail @ 4:30pm. Also sent text message advising I need to speak with her regarding my trial. 06/10 (Friday): Gina texted me stating she missed me but would call me back that same day. 06/11 (Saturday): I never heard back from Gina so I texted her in the morning. She later calls me around 2:27 pm and we talk for 8 mins where instead of listening to my concerns for wanting a refund (due to the scheduling/locations not working for me) she tries to tell me to try it out anyway. I explained if I do not receive satisfactory customer service, I will post feedback to social media. I was very polite and patient and was extremely clear about just wanting a refund. After a few minutes pass of her talking over me while I'm requesting a refund, I asked her to stop cutting me off as it was rude and unprofessional. She would not stop talking over me and allow me to speak, so I disconnected the call. - She then decides to text me back very PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE REMARKS and comments. Gina took NO accountability for her etiquette or behavior and instead insisted on explaining what she thought I did wrong. She said I was acting like a "Karen" and did not think that was possible because I was a "young dude". I had NO desire to entertain the conversation any longer and did not text or call her back AT ALL yet she kept sending me messages for the literally the next 50 minutes (see the timestamps with her last text @ 3:15pm. Her last text states that I "will be taken care of". - It is now Wednesday, June 15th and I have received NO correspondence OR verbal communication advising the result of my request for a refund. I would not join this service if it was the last fitness program available in my entire state.

BEFORE signing ANYTHING with Camp Gladiator -- check the reviews & complaints at the BBB!! Locally…read more(TN) -- the trainers and workouts are great. However the horrible customer service, long hold times on calls/chats, one sided contracts, and no access to management/corporate to settle issues (until you post a complaint at BBB) leaves a disgruntled customer. They want your money and that's it! They absolutely do not care about their customers once they sign on the dotted line!! I wanted to like this company so much but I wouldn't recommend them to my enemies -- I would pay double their (overpriced) monthly fees to a company who actually showed compassion, care, and encompassed true customer service values!! I would never recommend this company!! They know nothing about customer service!! My experience was that they shut the location closest to me which made it difficult to get to classes except for 1 day/week. They wouldn't allow me to cancel my sub or put on hold until new site opened up that was more convenient. They said as long as it was within 30 miles of the old site, I'm locked in. However, if you review their locations they're in urban areas meaning 30 miles can take hours to access. We all know convenience plays a major role with getting those workouts in. They said that I chose another site to be my site BUT their App made me select a new site before I could use it to find other locations/times. So really they've MADE me pick a new site regardless if I wanted to or not, then used it against me when I asked about canceling or flexing my contract. They don't allow breaks in contracts other than if you move/health. Most other companies will at a minimum allow a break until either a new site /location or coach is available. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER. Read the fine print and make sure this is what's right for you. One last example of poor customer service... I am literally days away from my contract end and waited for online chat for THREE HOURS to make sure there's no auto-renewal and was told I would need to wait the 7 days (to my end of contract) and call back then to cancel! What? I can't do it online via my account or just tell you I quit?? I litterally need to call back to cancel!! What a joke!!

Community-style gym that is well equipped for its size. I have been a member of NFC (Smyrna),…read moreOlympus (boro) and Gold's/Urban Active (Brentwood) in the past, so I feel qualified to give Flex a 4-star review relative to their competition. The main difference between the Globo-Gyms of the area and Flex are its owners: Doug and Jess Porterfield. They are there every day, they know their members by name, and they are the ones who run the personal training sessions and cardio classes. The service aspect of the gym is not watered down; if you have a request or concern they are always accessible and you know that your voice is being heard. It is very clear that you are not just a number to them. For example... Early on in my membership I put in a request to Doug for more weight machine equipment specific to back workouts. Within about 6 weeks, Doug had acquired and installed more equipment I have since used to enhance my back program. I probably wasn't the only one who had made this request, but it still was indicative of his willingness to listen and respond based on member feedback. Flex cannot beat Olympus on membership price, the MAC on square footage and equipment, or Anytime on hours of operation, but it manages to stay competitive on all of these fronts. Where Flex wins out is in the sense of community it has and in the visibility and values of the people running the show. Pros: reasonable rates, particularly with the 3-year term; hours of operation (5AM-9PM M-F, 8AM-5PM Sat), daycare/tanning/cardio classes included in standard membership, community vibe. Cons: limited room for expansion, lacking some weight/cardio equipment common in larger gyms, inability to change contract terms (e.g. cannot move from 2-year to 3-year contract), single location, closed on Sundays.

They never did offer them--only a "boot camp" class three times a week. When we requested them to release us from our contract for lying, they did not. When we filed with the BBB, they lied to them and said that they did in fact offer classes (which they did not). And of course, since then they have been nothing but rude to me when I do go in. I can't stand going there now. Additionally, their equipment stinks. For the longest time they did not have a usable elliptical (they did get 2 decent ones in finally). I would definitely NOT recommend this gym. Your money is much better spent elsewhere--maybe the Y or the Town Center. I CAN'T WAIT for my contract to be up so I can be free to go to a gym with friendly employees, decent equipment and folks that deliver what they say they will.
