Location for the class was odd being off in the corner from a gym full of kids in a summer camp. Yet once we entered into the cycling studio Dan definitely did bring a more bright and uplifting aura. The music was vibrant and the exercise was nice and challenging. The spin class is every Tuesday at 6:30pm and guest can come every 60 days I think but you can't reserve a spot in the class. You'd have to wait until a spot opens. So that can be a bit nerve wrecking if many come that day. So shoutout to Dan for making the experience amazing!

Only 1 hand-dryer works while there's no paper towels in the locker room to dry off, and half of all toilets are unavailable/out of service at times. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but he was extremely friendly. He checked my strength, flexibility, etc. At the end, when he asked if I had any questions, I asked him to help me on the leg press and he did! He suggested other workouts I should do afterwards. I came during the day time, when it wasn't busy and in the afternoon when it was busy. Both times were pleasant. NO ONE slammed their weights!! Was there a lunk alarm?? Everyone seemed respectful of others around them, asking if they can jump in between sets. However, wiping down equipment seemed to be a foreign concept here. They have the standard equipment that would be at every gym. All the weights are on the first level and the dreaded cardio on the second level...although the stairmasters are on the first. They also have cycles throughout the gym, I was excited to hop on one for the first time in years. Can I just take a moment and point out the old and rusty machines?? This isn't my home gym, but still...why haven't they been replaced? I get that they aren't broken or in need of repair, but all that rust can't possibly be good. The bathroom/locker room areas were surprisingly clean. Would I return? Maybe...when I'm back in the area.

As a health professional for over 20 years and former group exercise instructor, I can see how the Instructors motivate with a specific exercise strategy . They have helped a former patient of mine to get ready for Army officer training and it has made a big difference in his fitness being able to climb up large obstacles courses with heavy packs on and crawling under barbwire at Army base.
