Amazing hidden find close to our hotel! Da'Hi Brew is an adorable artisan coffee shop located in the Discovery Bay Center. While the focus seems to be on the coffee, they had some pretty tasty food options available too. Limited options but everything we tried was great. The shop is small so there aren't very many seating options inside but they do have patio seating directly outside the shop. Prices were very reasonable and customer service was excellent! Great escape from the expensive hotel breakfasts while also supporting local businesses, I highly recommend!

Tourist here: I am not down for chains, so found this hole in the wall coffee shop, really no room for sitting in the shop when people come to order, but they do have some seating outside the shop and they will bring your ur orders since its difficulty to wait inside.. now I can only vouch for the Coffee based on our orders, but damn it was sooo good... I tried the Dubai chocolate iced latte which came with whipped cream and chopped pistachios on top... yum.... The food... well it was easy but not standout.. the food did take much longer to come out bc the were busy for such a small place.. for the bagel Sammy and we also had the breakfast burrito.. I was told the burrito had some heat to it... no extra fixings...

We found this place on Yelp last Oct 2025 and came 3 times! The food is fantastic and the presentation makes it all the more tasty! The other and staff are very friendly and accommodating with requests! The avocado toast is so good we ate it each time. Highly recommend this little out of the way place! Best kept secret in Waikiki!

Great breakfast spot! The food came out nice and fresh, the value was excellent, and the waitress was super chill and friendly. Not a lot of seating inside but a good amount of patio seating that's covered. Nothing bad to say, this place was really solid. I'd give them more than a 5 if I could!

Food: The matcha tasted culinary grade, which is good, but was lacking some depth and had some slight grit in the texture. The mocha was fairly standard. Decent espresso for a cafe and a synthetic mocha. Nothing out of the ordinary, but I appreciate that they are open early. Service: For being as busy as they were, they greeted and acknowledged me upon entrance. The pair of ladies were very communicative and upbeat. The speed of service was quite efficient and they were very sincere. Ambiance: for being in a random mall off the Main Street they have a very local vibe. The inside is incredibly small, so only about 4 or 5 people can be in there at a time. The outdoor seating is a nice touch for those that want to sit around and enjoy their coffee.

Came to this coffee shop in Waikiki at breakfast. Da' HI Brew is one of the shops inside the Discovery Bay Center. It probably is the best thing in there. Almost everything else is fast food. The menu isn't big but there's some good basic choices as far as drinking and eating healthy. Breakfast is probably the busiest time to go. It's only got a few seats inside, but there's some more in front of it. The atmosphere is much better inside though. Feels like a dead mall on the outside. Seems coffee is the main thing. It's about $6 for a latte. Offers some non dairy milks including oat. Bagels are the main thing to eat. It's about $6 for a bagel with a spread. Cream cheese is the most popular. There's other toppings including avocado and sprouts. For sure it's a good place to start a morning at. It's located in the Discovery Bay Center at Ala Moana and Hobron. They have options for meat eaters and vegetarians.

I enjoyed my food here! I was staying at a nearby hotel and craving some breakfast food. The Breakfast Crunchwrap caught my eye. I ended up adding avocado and sprouts because my body was begging me for some vegetables haha It was pretty good! I enjoyed the crunch of the toasted tortilla! I wish they had a crunchy tostada layer in there like Taco Bell does with their crunchwraps. And I have a fun suggestion: a hot sauce in there (similar to Taco Bells) would really make the crunchwrap extra delicious. I say that because I happened to have had Taco Bell's mild sauce on me and it was the PERFECT condiment for this crunchwrap! Also some of the menu items are on their online menu, but not on all the in-store menus (like the Crunchwrap). So check the online menu just in case :)

Instead of having an overpriced hotel breakfast again, we decided to walk across the street and find something a little bit more affordable on our last day. We arrived a little after 7:00 on a Monday morning with no wait. The service was fantastic and our food arrived very quickly. Highly recommend in the area for a quick breakfast spot if you have a busy day ahead.

Stumbled upon this place by accident looking for the açaí bowl place before our whale watching excursion. They had everything we needed: açaí bowl, breakfast food, and coffee. Surprisingly enough I ended up getting the papaya boat which was delicious! You can tell this place does everything with care. My husbands iced americano was rich in flavor and he enjoyed the breakfast burrito. Would recommend if you want something not so touristy that tastes delicious. Price was decent as well. Would recommend and would come back when in this part of Waikiki!

This was our third breakfast here, and it just keeps getting better. The customer service is top tier; every single time, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel at home. The shop itself has that cozy, homey vibe with awesome music playing in the background that sets the perfect tone. The food is consistently delicious. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito; it's hearty and full of flavor. My iced latte was smooth and refreshing, and my friend ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel that smelled like heaven on earth as it toasted, filling the whole shop with that sweet aroma. I honestly don't know how the negative reviews came to their conclusions, seems like nothing but haters. This place is an absolute must if you're looking for great food, great coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere. After three visits, I can confidently say: this is the spot. And by the way, their salsa music selection was prime.

I am hesitant when ordering cold brews at cafes. Blue Bottle? Not good. Starbucks? Meh. Small cafes? Hit or miss. This place is a definite hit. The cold brew is so smoooooooooth. To the owner: your cold brew is delicious, and I'll see you tomorrow morning for one. :) read more

Glad to see Da Hi Brew has opened again in a great location with plenty of room not to feel crowded like so many places. Had the ham and cheese croissant and there was plenty of ham on it. Nice local coffee shop. Nice areas to sit. Solid breakfast burrito was two full meals. Took a while to heat up so don't be in a rush. Cold brew is delicious. Very unique. I really want to like this place. But I've only managed to go one time and it was good, a bit pricy but it's Waikiki, however the service was lacking. I tried to go again recently. Showed up an hour before their posted closing time. There was a person inside and the lights were on, but I was ignored. There was a closed sign on the door hung next to their posted hours which were stated as being open till 1pm not 12pm which is when I showed up. Da best coffee in Waikiki. I like my coffee black and I can taste the bean. They use premium quality roast Lion coffee and it has very light cinnamon notes it's delicious. My girlfriend gets their caramel macchiato and it's refreshing and not just a sugar drink. The people that work there are very friendly they have a aloha spirit so don't be afraid to ask questions they are very helpful. If you're hungry I recommend the breakfast bagel sammie. This is a wonderful, charming little coffee shop hidden in a shopping plaza. We were within walking distance from our place and found it easily. The girls working here were cheerful and sweet! Our drinks were made very quickly and they were delicious. I got an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk. Though we felt the coffee was overpriced at about $8, I think inflation is to blame because the drink was worth it. read more

Two stars are for the coffee and food here which are really good, if you can actually get them. Unfortunately, you have absolutely no way of knowing when or if this place will actually be open. Despite posted hours, I've been there at least 5 times when they've been closed during business hours. And if they are open, you have no way of knowing if they'll be "too busy" to serve you. Today was the last straw for me. I made the trip over at 10:30 am to find the doors locked, despite there being a couple of workers behind the counter and a couple of guys chatting them up. After I knocked, one of the girls opened the door to tell me she couldn't help me until 11:00 because they were busy. Wouldn't even pour me a (pre-made) cold brew. Nope, just too busy during business hours to take 45 seconds to pour me a coffee and take my $7 (yup, you read correctly ... $7 for a cup of coffee) I've continued to patronize this place because I want to support local businesses, but sadly, after today I'm done. read more

A $9 mistake. My matcha latte cost $8.35 after asking for oatmilk (a $2 add!!), and plus an extra dollar that I tipped before knowing the quality I'd receive. I'm all for supporting small businesses, but this was a flat out rip off. The drink came out chunky and lacking all flavor. To cap things off, nobody working there was wearing a mask...in the midst of a resurgent pandemic where customers were wearing masks. Disappointing. read more

We are located in the Discovery Bay building with covered lanai seating area which is ideal for those who wants to sit outside. We use mild roasted Hawaiian coffee with less acidity. So if you do not care for that burnt taste, you've come to the right place! We also provide sandwiches, bagels, waffles made to order, and fresh fruits. We occasionally offer fresh-baked bread which is great for those early-riser as they get sell out really fast. We also accept catering orders in advance. Please contact us!

Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. Great dinner...but if anyone is listening...bring back the shrimp and grits!!!

Our server came over and got us started pretty quick. 3 in the group ordered mules and by the time I was ready to order one they ran out of ingredients for mules. This kind of sucked mid way through happy hour and one of the main drinks on that menu is not available. Not to worry, we tried a few of the other selections including the cucumber collins, and the mojito. We also ordered some appetizers and food, the fried mozzarella was very good, along with the wings. The wings were cooked well and were crispy. Our friends had the chicken sandwich and the fish and chips and both were enjoyed. Overall it was a good time with food and drinks and trivia. If you're around give them a try.

I got 2 kouign Amannn, 2 Dubai coco puff, and half dozen green tea puff. The kouign amann is a circular croissant. I liked that it was soft and flaky and had a sweet, crispy glaze over it. The Dubai coco puff had a strong pistachio crunchy flavor but I thought it was way too sweet for me personally. The Star of the show are the green tea cream puffs! I would come back to just order that! The top filling tasted like a thick creamy brown butter green tea-flavored icing. I visited Da' Hi Brew before at the previous location, and I liked their coffee so much so I went back again, and this time at the new location. It is in side the Discovery Bay Center, and not visible from the street, but since I follow their Instagram account @dahibrew, I knew exactly they had relocated. The coffee was great as I remembered from before. I do not drink at Starbucks as their coffee has that burnt taste. Da' Hi Brew services Hawaiian coffee and they have the smooth taste. The food is also great as they will make it fresh. I read someone complained about the prices, but if you are tourist and don't know the cost of living in Hawaii, of course, it will seem high. I do not personally thing that their prices are no higher than anywhere else in Waikiki, or in Hawaii. Yes, everything is expensive here. Anyway, I am a big fan of Da' Hi Brew and the girls have great attitude and kind. I will be back for sure. read more

Terrible service. The employees don't know how to do their job and take 5 business days to make a coffee, their plates are dirty and there are roaches all over the underside of the counters and back walls. The food is made with things you would piece together from regular groceries at Walmart or sams club. Not worth the price at all. The art on the wall is very mid to say the least. The coffee is awful. I've seen the owners replies on here about how if you don't like her coffee then Starbucks would be a better choice for people who don't like hers. That's a very biased opinion and not very customer service friendly. This place is a true thumbs down for me. Not to mention the first impression is the giant dead roach shadow in their ceiling lights. I come here for Saturday brunch sometimes. They seem to be short-handed this morning, but the staff were very apologetic and eventually caught up with all the order during the rash hour. I ordered breakfast sammie, and it was delicious! Manager, Jordan and the other female staff were working well together. Customers were patient as they also seem to have understood that they were very busy. They all patiently waited. They have the best Hawaiian coffee there, to me, as I do not like burnt taste coffee at Starbucks. Highly recommended. read more
