It honestly made me feel bad for the workers. People are trying to do their jobs, and being humiliated or yelled at publicly is unnecessary and unprofessional. And honestly, maybe this is part of why the customer service felt so off. If management treated staff with more respect and patience, maybe customers would have a much better experience too.
