Ordered the corned beef sandwich and a pastrami sandwich. The bread is chewy because they microwave the sandwiches to heat them up. The pastrami was half fat. Fancy pre packed pickle slices and no sport peppers. First and last time visiting. Would not recommend. Highly disappointed. read more

Their food was horrible. The corned beef and cabbage were disgusting, and the corned beef was like shredded like sandwich meat and no flavor. My sister mashed potatoes and vegetable were iced cold, my moms salmon croquettes (salty) and sweet potatoes taste like sugar was literally poured in it. I took one bite on the chicken and instantly knew that the chicken was old and stale. They just poured horrible cream sauce over the old chicken and called that smothered chicken. The greens were horrible and super greasy. I couldn't go back to complain because they make it impossible due to the place being drive through only and the wait is super long. ***Oak Forrest location ** Wasn't able to set up a customer account for the Oak Forrest location.. I entered all the info 4 or more times I patronized the Oak Forrest location 4 times with today being my last time. (4th time 1:12/23)The first 2 times food was really great 1lb Pastrami and Corn Beef ...Really good mac n cheese so 12/3022 6:46 pm .. The 3rd time sandwich made the same way it was delicious the Mac and Cheese was God awful looked like millions of tiny pieces (1 macaroni chopped in to 3's like did a animal chew this up n spit it back in my bowl)it was so greasy and crumbled all up like it had been scrapped from all 4 corners of the pan.. Why would you serve this. It looked horrible..,I pulled back around the young lady said the same thing this batch is crumbly. My sentiments to be exact. I gave it back and requested a refund. Corned beef on marbled bread was tasty however there was no potato salad, there was no Cole slaw which was disappointing but when my son asked for packs of mustard and there was none that was the last straw. I went on a whim. Well, yesterday I was so hungry that tree bark on a menu would've done the job for me. But I didn't even know of its existence until I saw that the restaurant had a drive thru. Living my life in a wheelchair, I guess one could understand why drive-thrus' are important for me. So I tried it and didn't have to wait long for a vegetarian platter that left me to try the sides. Everything tasted okay. It was excellent. Prices are a little high, but it was good. Didn't have to wait long for good to excellent food. I came to this location last night. I been to the other location in Tinley Park. I ordered the catfish dinner. Everything was ok since I was hungry. The catfish wasn't fully cooked it was mushy. I am so glad DA'S Deli & Dining opened a franchise near my home. Although this location does not offer dine-in service, the food is still on point. The servings aren't as generous as the Orland Park location but the food is still scrumptious! Always a fan. Oh yes, this location has a drive through; perfect for the "on-the-go" customer. Ordered four dinners yesterday evening. Gave us the wrong food. Ordered two baked chicken dinners. Got two smothered chicken dinner. Ordered shrimp dinner got the sides wrong, who eats dressing with shrimp. I had the taste for collard greens, they were horrible. Called back for a hour before they even answered the phone. The gentleman on the phone said he had a recording of the order but never produced it. The food was horrible and the customer service even worst. I've enjoyed DA's Deli in Orland Park, when they have live jazz music, so I was happy to learn they have a location closer to my home. The first visit (in the middle of a weekday afternoon) was OK with the food promised in 25 minutes and brought to my car 35 minutes after ordering. Today was a Sunday, and my wife drove here after church only to find they hadn't opened yet. I ordered online again, (which requires a tip and a "convenience fee), to be told my order would be ready in 45 minutes to an hour. I tried calling, as instructed, when I arrived exactly 1 hour after placing the order. The first three times no one answered and a message said the voicemail box was full. I went inside and waited 10 minutes. A woman made me sign a receipt stating that I had received the food. When I arrived home I found that they gave me a 1/2 lb sandwich instead of the 1 lb. sandwich I ordered, and one of the side of greens was missing from the meal. The cornbread was soggy. When I discovered this at home I tried calling, and their number went straight to voicemail. I decided it wasn't worth another half hour driving back there and waiting for them shorting about 20% of the order, only to return home to cold food. I won't be back to this location. read more

This place use to be really, really good especially when they first opened. However, now I barely hardly go. They hv the habit of stretching their food I guess when they run low. they hv added milk to their Mac, I ordered spaghetti and it was literally swimming in a bunch of spaghetti sauce. The Mac is a hit or miss, but you can forget about it they 'stretch' it and add milk or whatever they do.
