SO good! Da Vien hits the spot each time with their egg coffee and their lychee fruit tea. I used to visit their Westminster location all the time when visiting SoCal, so I am so glad they opened up a branch here in SJ. Service is usually fairly fast and orders take another 5-10 mins depending on how busy they are. They do have an app you can order from ahead of time to beat any rush though! You can also collect points there too or score any good BOGO deals they have. Inside is a little busy most of the time, so expect to wait on your order outside. Parking in this lot's location can be tough with the other restaurants and cafes so good luck! Definitely try their egg cream coffee, lychee fruit tea, and their ube products. This is my/my entire office's current obsession. We all have our own orders we love, with mine being the Iced Caramel Latte. Our general favorites are the Vietnamese Coffees, Strawberry Matcha Latte, and the Ube Latte. Truly don't believe they can miss, so you're safe with just about any item on the menu. This isn't necessarily a great place to sit and work, but if you're looking for a strong, delicious coffee to take on the go, it's worth the trip. Staff work efficiently and quickly as well, so although it's always busy in the shop, the drinks don't generally take too long. read more

I've been wanting to try this coffee spot for a while now since it's been trending on social media. I placed an online order and the drinks were ready within 10 minutes for pick up. I recommend doing this instead of waiting in line in person since they were quite busy. I ordered an iced strawberry oat latte (less ice, 50% sweetness) and my boyfriend got an iced sesame latte (less ice). Both drinks were pretty good and strong (since it's Vietnamese coffee). The coffee is STRONG. I drank it at 9 am and didn't go to sleep until 4 am the next day. I don't drink coffee that often but when this place opened up from SoCal, I had to try it. I'm usually good with coffee before 10 am but this was not the case. I talked to another customer and they say the SoCal location is great. This place is just good. The first time I saw this Cafe there was a line of people around the building. Needless to say a stop in to sample was in order and today was the day. It was evening so no crowds. A few people inside on laptops, chatting etc. I could see other times of the day being busy but I happened to get a front row parking spot. Like most modern cafes, you order at the kiosk. Da Vien deserves all the attention it's getting! They have so many options that it was tough to choose what I wanted to try as my first experience. Ultimately, I went with two of their best sellers: the marble drip and banana matcha latte. The marble drip is so creamy and the condensed milk really shines here with the drip coffee chasing after. If you enjoy sweet and robust Vietnamese iced coffee, you will love this. I would actually adjust the sweetness level to low for this drink. The banana matcha latte was delicious as well. The velvety banana cream is much more sense than I was expecting and is similar to a fluffy banana pudding. The matcha itself is creamy and has a mild tea flavor. First had Da Vien in SoCal and then I had the coconut matcha. Today I came to the Milpitas location and I had the marble drip coffee, added egg cream, and let me tell you it was perfect!! DA VIEN IS SO GOOD! Honestly some top tier viet coffee. Recently a lot of new viet coffee places have been popping up in the bay - but i tried some and they are SO WATERY or have no flavor! Da vien was not like that at all! If im not mistaken this is a chain from socal. The inside had a modern clean look and had some seating to hang out! When i walked in there were SO MANY to go orders! I tried the ube coffee cream and the black sesame matcha. The ube coffee cream was VERY ube which i loved! I ordered from a kiosk and my drink was ready very quickly. I visited on a Monday afternoon and was surprised to see the shop was pretty full. This is a relatively new shop, which appears to be quite popular. I enjoyed my Vietnamese coffee. The first time I tried Da Vien was in Bolsa, and I wasn't impressed because it was a little too sweet for me. Well, it was kind of unfair to judge because I only drink black coffee. This time, I tried the coconut matcha and it was delicious! This location is packed with people ordering to go. So happy that there is a Da Vien location in Milpitas! I first fell in love with their pandan latte drink when I had it in SoCal. The hype is real. The drinks are always so consistent and the customer service is great here! Make sure to order ahead so you don't have to wait long. First off, love the ease of their online ordering system. Despite only being open for a couple of months, they definitely have their system down. We ordered ahead from our car and were able to pick up within a few minutes. There was a slew of drinks waiting to be picked up, so they are totally cranking them out efficiently. I also love that you can adjust the coffee/cream ratio to have more or less coffee/cream. We tried the coconut blended coffee and egg cream coffee. Egg cream is my kryptonite and loooove it here. I adjusted the sweetness to 30% and it was perfect. Prices are also a little cheaper compared to similar Vietnamese coffee places, but the quality is just as good.
