    Interior

Kasama Ca Phe is a beautiful cafe located downtown SJ near Whole Foods on Stockton Ave. Once you step inside, you are welcomed with a modern interior that harmoniously blends the Vietnamese aesthetic with a clean minimalistic vibe. The interior features a long wooden community table, stainless steel diner tables, along with the iconic plastic stools. Somehow its just all works together. The small beautiful details like the barista snoopy, creative flower arrangements, and vibey ceiling light makes this place look like my Pinterest cream cafe. We came during soft opening so the menu was only printed at the cashier, with 3 drinks offered as of currently: mocha, pandan muoi, and ca phe sua da. They also offer some goodies from a local bakery called Milk Belly Bakery. * Pandan muoi- Creamy, strong coffee with a not-too-sweet finish. The pandan essence is strong but not overwhelmingly so. The saltiness compliments the pandan flavor so well. This drink was enjoyable and truly unique. * Calamansi butter mochi- This was so unique as you rarely can find calamansi flavored baked goods anywhere. The calamansi taste was strong, very fruity and the mochi texture was sticky and chewy. What a unique and tasty treat to enjoy alongside your coffee. Kasama Ca Phe offers some solid drink options even for their soft opening so I'm excited to see the potential this place has to offer in the future. I really enjoy how creative their selection is and it really stands out compared to other Vietnamese coffeeshops that always offer just the standard coconut, ube and salt coffees. I would love to come back and try more coffee.

Kasama is currently in their soft opening! this opened up across from Whole Foods and we were excited to try it. we came on a sunday morning around 10am and there was a short line. but as we left, the line was already out the door. I really enjoyed the Pandan Muối Latte. the cream foam was sooo good!! even though this is a viet+filipino coffee shop, I'd say their coffee isn't as bitter as the typical viet coffee. so if viet coffee is too much for you, this is kinda the perfect balance. it is still strong tho! the workers here are very friendly and offered to help if we had any questions. as for parking, there's only street parking or the Whole Foods parking across the street. I'm excited to see what else they'll be adding to the menu.

We've been customers since their pop-up days, so it's exciting to see them finally open their own shop! They offer unique coffee flavors sourced from Vietnam and the Philippines, making it a refreshing change from the usual coffee menu options. My go-to order is the Pandan Muối Latte; love how creamy and flavorful it is without being overly sweet. The Cà Phê Sṹa Ðá is another recommended choice, especially if you enjoy Vietnamese iced coffee. The shop also has tables available if you'd like to sit and enjoy your drink there. They may add some small food or snack options in the future. We'll definitely continue supporting them and are excited to watch them grow. Highly recommend stopping by and giving them a try!

Genuinely excited for this new coffee shop in San Jose. The baristas are kind and the coffee is delicious. I've only ordered the signature pandan one and it's my new favorite coffee order! The decor and ambiance is inviting, warm, and tasteful. I highly recommend coming here!

Stopped to check out Kasama Ca Phe during the soft opening and I'm excited for the future of this spot. The interior was nice and spacious with plenty of seating and the employees were super nice and welcoming. We ordered the Davao mocha and pandan latte. Both were really good and lean towards the Asian philosophy of "not too sweet". I'd come back to try any new lattes that get added to the menu.

I'm not much of a coffee person but i'm always open to supporting small businesses. I actually really enjoyed what they had to offer during this soft opening and am excited to come back when they have their full menu up! The cashier gave great recommendation and was very friendly. The i side is also nicely decorated with a natural minimalist feel with nice art on the walls. Good place to meet up with friends. Parking is a bit hard, but if there's a will there's a way!

To say that I've anticipated Kasama finally opening up a brick and mortar is an understatement. From my first sip a couple of years ago to where they are today, everything about them is top notch. First off, just get the Pandan Muối and don't think twice about it. I'm a sucker for anything Pandan and they just do it right. I've had plenty of Vietnamese coffee (spoiler alert: I'm Viet lol) and I have to say that Kasama's Ca Phe Sua Da is super balanced and doesn't give me heart palpitations which is a huge bonus. Now to the space: cleanest coffee shop vibes in the Bay. Wide open and it leads you right to the beautiful bar area where everything is intentional and you can feel it. The staff were extremely personable which made me feel at home. They were also very knowledgeable about their coffee and origin which was a fantastic touch. Excellent job leadership team! Overall, this is now my go-to spot for all my Asian caffeine needs and I can't wait to see what they have brewing

    Pandan Latte & Americano

So happy to see a coffee shop that represents Philippine flavors. We went on their soft opening and love how the place feels so zen. So excited to see them flourish! We got to try their pandan latte & americano and it was really good! The pandan flavor was not too overpowering but you can taste it. We met Erik, one of the co-owners and he was really nice! He is asking for feedback and sharing the coffee shop's vision which is good. Can't wait to be back!

Visited Kasama Cà Phê during their soft opening and it was amazing. Their southeast Asian inspired coffee is strong but not too sweet and their flavors are creative. Their pandan latte was delicious. The service was exceptional and quick, and the space was perfect to spend time with friends! Will be back!

Best Vietnamese coffee in the Bay! I visit my family in Vietnam at least once a year and love how they've represented the coffee culture so well. It's exciting to see them bring Southeast Asian coffee to SF! What I love about Kasama: 1. They use high-quality beans that are actually grown in Da Lat, Vietnam! 2. Their vegan Vietnamese coffee option is delicious. 3. They provide compostable cups and lids - they're exploring straw options too. 4. They compost their leftover coffee grounds. 5. Each cup is made with the traditional phin (cute steel filter). A slower drip, but the secret to a nice, strong cup of cà phê sa đá! Hope to see them expand and offer more menu items in the future. I would highly recommend checking them out!

Neat concept. I always liked Vietnamese coffee but they are usually served at pho restaurants as a "side thing". But since they don't specialize in coffee, the quality is usually hit or miss. Really glad to see this team taking cà phê sa đá seriously and creating a specialized pop-up! The coffee was really tasty. Wish they could figure out a way to let customers adjust the sweetness level though. The caffeine level is "expert". I can usually drink 3-4 normal coffees throughout the day and be fine. But I got really wired after having just one of their coffee. So be careful!

As someone who doesn't drink coffee very often, I found myself wanting more of their ca phe dua da after attending their previous pop-ups. The flavor of their Vietnamese coffee is superb and is the perfect amount of sweet and bitter to really wake me up in the mornings. What I loved about this place most of all is how well informed Erik and Kevin were. I had a chance to talk to them while it wasn't busy to learn about the history behind Vietnamese coffee and it was amazing to see how much passion they have for their craft. A very enjoyable experience overall and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My Saigon Freeze was hands‑down the best--like a super tasty Frappuccino. My sisters got the Muoi, which was really good but a little strong, and my sister's boyfriend got the COCO Freeze, which wasn't my favorite only because I'm not a coconut person. There were plenty of places to sit, and the vibe was super chill with a mix of families and people just hanging out. Everyone kept talking about how good my drink was--it really was that good! If I'm ever in San Jose again, I'm 100% coming back just for that Saigon Freeze.

Each drink is hand-whisked, so well worth the wait. Their cold foams were delicious and super flavorful as well. I was so excited to try the mango sticky rice matcha, as I hadn't seen this flavor anywhere else. The drink has a creamy salted coconut milk cold foam on top and some mango puree and glutinous rice on the bottom. Once everything was mixed, the mango flavor does get lost unfortunately. But still, the drink was amazing and rich. The guava li-hing matcha was sooo vibrant! I loved how the tropical flavor of the guava cold foam sprinkled with li-hing balanced out the earthy matcha. I've tried other guava matchas with guava puree on the bottom rather than cold foam on top, but I definitely prefer the latter to preserve the matcha flavor.
