If you're looking for legit, strong Vietnamese coffee, this is your place. My absolute favorite is the marble drip -- I get it at 50% sweet and 100% strong, and it hits every single time. My second go-to is the banana latte, which is also amazing. This place just does it right. I love everything about Da Vien and the only downside is that it's not closer to me -- I'd be here all the time if it were. Highly recommend to any coffee lover, especially if you appreciate the real deal Vietnamese coffee experience. Service is friendly and fast. Love that there's good parking outside too.

First had Da Vien in SoCal and then I had the coconut matcha. Today I came to the Milpitas location and I had the marble drip coffee, added egg cream, and let me tell you it was perfect!! I was really impressed by how smooth and flavorful it was. The coffee was strong without being overly bitter. Maybe we'll hold off on the egg cream next time just to get a better feel for the drink itself. But it was delicious overall. Service there is fast! I did an online order for six drinks at 9:03am and walked in at 9:10 my drinks were all ready! That's great and fast customer service for sure! Definitely was faster than the SoCal location lol. Overall great everything!

DA VIEN IS SO GOOD! Honestly some top tier viet coffee. Recently a lot of new viet coffee places have been popping up in the bay - but i tried some and they are SO WATERY or have no flavor! Da vien was not like that at all! If im not mistaken this is a chain from socal. The inside had a modern clean look and had some seating to hang out! When i walked in there were SO MANY to go orders! I tried the ube coffee cream and the black sesame matcha. The ube coffee cream was VERY ube which i loved! The ube cream was a little too thick for my liking, but once you mixed it with the coffee it was perfect! The black sesame matcha also had a great black sesame flavoring! It was nutty and super fragrant! The matcha paired nicely! I actually saved half of each drink for later in the fridge - and even after the ice melted, the drinks were still good and not watery! 10/10! I will definitely be coming back! I am excited to try their otjer drinks!

I wish this place was already here back when I lived in the area. I would definitely go out of my way to come here if I'm ever in SJ/Milpitas We got the regular matcha latte, Ube cream matcha latte, and the einspanner matcha. All of the drinks were so good and we finished them so fast. I was surprised to find out that the ube flavor was very distinct and not bland. I'm curious to see how it would taste on top of the coffee. Everything on the menu sounds so good and I'd be willing to try them all in the future!

The first time I tried Da Vien was in Bolsa, and I wasn't impressed because it was a little too sweet for me. Well, it was kind of unfair to judge because I only drink black coffee. This time, I tried the coconut matcha and it was delicious! This location is packed with people ordering to go. We had to use the app to order, but it didn't take long for the drinks to come out considering the amount of people there. If you are a black coffee drinker like me, you might not like their specialty coffee, but please check out their teas or matcha. Highly recommend! Sorry, I forgot to take the photo of drink. :-(

Da Vien was a coffee shop specialized in Vietnamese style coffee and matcha drinks. We got the most popular item Marble Drip (50% sugar and less ice) and the banana matcha latte (0% sugar and less ice). The marble drip was great! It tasted like Vietnamese coffee but on the lighter side. The coffee was super smooth! 50% sugar and less ice gave a nice balance of sweetness. The banana matcha latte had sweet banana creams at the bottom. Even without added sugar, the drink was slightly sweet from the banana cream. I wish the matcha were stronger though. They also offered coffee/matcha/latte with many options of creamy toppings such as Ube cream and Strawberry cream. Would love to give them a try next time! The store was recently opened, so it was still quite popular. There was a line on a Saturday afternoon and it took about 15min to get our drinks. It was located inside a plaza in Milpitas so parking was straightforward.

I had never heard of Da Vien before their grand opening flooded my social media feed. We waited for the hype to die down a bit before finally giving them a try, and it was totally worth it. First off, love the ease of their online ordering system. Despite only being open for a couple of months, they definitely have their system down. We ordered ahead from our car and were able to pick up within a few minutes. There was a slew of drinks waiting to be picked up, so they are totally cranking them out efficiently. I also love that you can adjust the coffee/cream ratio to have more or less coffee/cream. We tried the coconut blended coffee and egg cream coffee. Egg cream is my kryptonite and loooove it here. I adjusted the sweetness to 30% and it was perfect. Prices are also a little cheaper compared to similar Vietnamese coffee places, but the quality is just as good. We took our coffees to-go, but there seemed to be a good amount of seating inside if you wanted to sit and enjoy your brew. Plenty of natural light, good vibes, and good coffee all around.

I was so excited to finally get a chance to try Da Vien after my hearing my daughter rave about it every time she goes to So. Cal. It was super easy to find and tons of parking. You can order at the kiosk, wait for someone to help you order ahead on their app. When we arrived there was a handful of people waiting for their orders and one person at the kiosk. Ordering was super easy. Drinks came out rather quick! And I even got a cute keychain! I couldn't decide between the Vietnamese Coffee with Banana Cream or Strawberry Cream, so I got BOTH!!!! The Vietnamese coffee is delicious. Banana Cream - The cream is thick and creamy with the perfect banana taste. Strawberry Cream - The cream was thinner than the banana cream. The strawberry tasted like fresh strawberries but blends into the coffee as you drink it. Next time I'm going to try their Egg Coffee!

First time trying Da Vien coffee. Strong coffee and great service. Very modern looking space, but air conditioner on door was loud and distracting.

This spot is really nice! It's located in a not-too-busy plaza with enough parking that I had no trouble with it. The shop is clean and well-lit, and it feels modern and minimal. There is free WiFi, outlet access, and the music isn't crazy loud, but there isn't a ton of seating. That said, they're open pretty late, so it's a good spot for studying or relaxing after work. Drinks are ordered on a tablet, with a menu comprised of Vietnamese-style coffees, matcha lattes, and a few other teas. They offer ham-and-cheese croissants as well, but I haven't tried them. I tried the sesame latte, which I really liked! The coffee was a little weaker than my usual preference, but it was still enjoyable. I would say the prices are pretty normal for the area ($5-8 for most drinks I checked out), and the variety of drinks is pretty normal. Nothing extremely unique or special compared to other local spots, but pretty solid execution of what the offer. I absolutely recommend giving this spot a shot.

Solid Coffee/Matcha place! I highly recommend getting the app since you can earn points and get free drinks. My favorite drink has been the Marble Coffee and Matcha Einspanner! The cafe has some seating but dont count on getting a seat during peak hours. The vibe is really nice to catch up with a friend while drinking some yummy drinks!

Just as delicious as the Da Vien Coffee found in SoCal!!! The hype surrounding this place is 100% real and I don't see that changing any time soon. In a world full of Vietnamese coffee offerings & egg coffee options [[left and right]], Da Vien does it's thang in proving that it is a force to be reckoned with. Here, you will find coffee, lattes, matcha, and iced teas. The cream toppings are what always brings me back. With Da Vien you are able to customize your sweetness level and the caffeinated strength. My must haves: *UBE CREAM COFFEE *EGG CREAM COFFEE *MARBLE DRIP *PANDAN MILK [caffeine free] The ube coffee is naturally strong and extremely caffeinated. This goes without any customizations or add ons, taking it the standard way. The coffee flavoring is a bold punch to your tastebuds but follows with the nutty sweetness of ube cream. The egg coffee is just as strong when it comes to the immediate caffeine punch. The intense hit is mellowed out with the sweet, creamy, custard like topping- making each sip so darn satisfying. The marble drip is low key like the cousin of the typical Vietnamese coffee. You get that distinct intense flavor but it is on the milder side. This has more of a stronger sweetness level, a creamier body, and a smooth finish. Perfect for someone like me who doesn't regularly have coffee- let alone the Vietnamese versions. 5/5 stars. The drinks here are well crafted, delicious, and the staff is a lot quicker than I anticipated!! The long lines and constant flow of orders are no match for the baristas here!

Amazing Viet coffee spot! Super bustling and packed on a Saturday post-lunch rush. I waited around 15 minutes for my order. The egg coffee is fantastic. I got half sweet less ice. Egg cream is airy but rich and the coffee at 50% sweetness was perfect. The strawberry matcha was solid and the strawberry cream was very flavorful and even had seeds. The drinks are on the affordable end of today's market ($6-7 lol). Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

The servers are friendly and quick, and there is a wide but not overwhelming variety of drink (mostly coffee/espresso and some matcha) and food (cake slices, waffles, and dessert toasts) options available. You can also preorder whole cakes from them. The coffee is decent, but I find that $7 is a little steep for a latte that doesn't really stand out. I can sort of justify it by thinking that I'm also paying for the lovely space to work as well. The desserts are also a bit pricy, at around $10 per piece (and the pieces aren't huge). Overall, I had a pleasant experience here and would absolutely recommend it if you're looking for a place to sit down for a while to read, study, or relax, despite the somewhat pricy menu.

Easily the best pistachio latte I've ever had. The pistachio flavor tastes rich and legit without being overly sweet or covering up the coffee. A lot of pistachio drinks at other spots taste like artificial syrup, but this one is smooth, balanced, and actually complements the espresso. I also love seeing that deep green color in the clear cups--it just looks so aesthetic and makes the drink feel even more authentic. Honestly, 9 out of 10 times, this is what I'm ordering. If it's your first time here, PLEASE get it. Thankfully my husband is always down to be adventurous and order something different so we can still guarantee at least one pistachio latte on the table lol. His go-to is the Qamaria Latte with oatmilk, sometimes with cold foam. It sounds simple--espresso, steamed milk, cardamom, and cinnamon-but it tastes like comfort in a cup. The cardamom and cinnamon make it feel warm, cozy, and layered without punching you in the face with sugar. Nothing tastes artificial here. Everything feels intentional and made with care. Also, whether you dine in or take it to-go, the drinks always look cute. I LOVE the dine-in presentation though. The iced drinks come in clear glass cups so you can see all the layers, and the hot drinks come in these thick ceramic mugs that make the experience feel extra cozy. And I'm such a sucker for their tray setup too--everything matches the aesthetic so well and makes coffee dates here feel extra special. And don't even get me started on the milk cakes because they are dangerously good. My fave is the Biscoff milk cake. It's super soft, creamy, rich, and has the perfect caramelized cookie flavor without being too sweet. It paired sooo well with the warm spices in the coffee. _______________________________________________________ --- S E R V I C E --- Each barista I ever had was kind and super chill. I never felt rushed and they took their time answering questions. It sounds pretty simple but I feel like even with how busy it can get, they pace themselves accordingly behind the counter so that they are intentional and patient with their customers, and work in a consistent pace that gets drinks done in time and hands them off with care. Very contrast to a cafe where baristas are working so fast-paced that their interactions are short and it feels like that they just want to get the drink over with and passed off to the customer. It all goes back to Qamaria's baristas being intentional with the way that they work. Keep doin' your thing y'all. Love the flow. _______________________________________________________ --- A M B I A N C E -- It's funny because the first time my husband and I pulled up was after dinner on a Friday night. Most nights they're open until midnight too, which is dangerous lol. And let me tell you... this place gets CRACKIN'. We came around 10:30 PM and the line was out the door, but I'm so glad we stayed because the drinks changed our life. Even on a random weekday when I met up with a homegirl, we looked up from yappin' for hours and suddenly the line was wrapped outside again. Trust--it's worth the wait. The inside is warm, modern, and culturally rich without feeling forced or overly trendy. The arches, lighting, patterned seating, earthy tones, and artwork make the whole space feel cozy and intentional. People are studying, catching up with friends and fam, working, or just vibing over coffee, and it somehow all works together perfectly.
