My husband and I came here for Valentine's Day and had a great experience. There aren't many Italian options here in Stillwater, so I honestly came in without great expectations. Our server was friendly, attentive, and on top of things, which made us feel welcome but not overwhelmed. The bread was complimentary and just fine. We ordered the fried calamari, which was nice and crispy, and the marinara sauce was amazing, so I sopped that up with the bread. We also ordered the shrimp diavolo, which was really good and had a hefty amount of seafood. My husband ordered something with sausage and peppers on it, and it was alright, but paled in comparison to the diavolo sauce, which was the star of the show, with the right balance of spicy and salty with a hint of acid. My family and I were looking for somewhere new to try in Stillwater. We noticed this restaurant near another restaurant we've gone to a couple of times, so we decided to try it since we all like Italian food. We got the complimentary garlic knots when we sat down. That was nice. A bit bland not hot but nice touch when sitting down. My husband ordered "The Works" pasta it had sausage and meatballs. When his food came the plate was scorching hot but he said his food was lukewarm. How that works I'm not sure. My husband said he was disappointed because he paid extra to get the dish he did. Also the dish came with 1 sausage and 1 meatball. Definitely not worth the money paid. My son got the pasta trio. It had lasagna, meat ravioli and manicotti. He was expecting each item to be on a large plate so he would be able to discern what item was what. But it was placed in a boat style dish covered with cheese and baked. You couldn't tell what was what on his plate. He also was disappointed. He ended up just mashing everything up and mixing it together instead of enjoying each item separately like he thought it would be. Again he said that the dish came scorching hot but the food itself was lukewarm. My other son got the meatball parmigiano. He got his sandwich which he said was also lukewarm. And there was a piece of tin foil stuck to the sandwich when it was brought to the table. Also the sandwich was cut in half, but it didn't look like it was cut with a knife but it looked like someone grabbed and ripped it in half with their hands. It was a mess! I got the lasagna. Again repeat the dish was really hot but the food itself was lukewarm. Again doesn't make sense. The sauce itself was ok but there was a TON of cheese. LOL The cost of the meal including 2 sodas came to $66. With no tip. My husband and I didn't think it was worth the money. We were all disappointed with the taste of the food, the presentation and cost. If we had to choose again - we would've chosen to instead gone to Olive Garden or ate at home. I know Stillwater doesn't have many choices as far as Italian so it's limited. But this wasn't it. I don't think we'll be back. If we want to have Italian we will probably go to Olive Garden. read more

I have loved this place the whole time I've been in Stillwater, but when I visited on an empty afternoon after I graduated they told me that I had a time limit to be in there. While I have never spent an hour and a half in any restaurant, I didn't feel my family should be rushed or pressured through a meal. What really was wild was how empty they were to be threatening me with a time limit. I saw multiple employees who weren't busy set at the table behind me and just chit chat. I wonder if they had a time limit for them to be out! While the principle is understandable at a buffet or something it was rediculous to tell a customer you have a time limit when walking into an empty restaurant. I have been a front of house manager for bloomin brands working at multiple bonefish grills and outbacks during my tenure and have never game a time limit to someone. Located in a shopping strip mall, restaurant has several tables so can accommodate big groups or just lots of people so although pretty busy we were seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and while we figured out what we wanted to order he brought us some very delicious hot garlic rolls. I ordered the linguine tuttomare which had various seafood (clams, shrimp, scallops) in a white wine, garlic butter sauce. Noodles were cooked perfectly al dente, sauce was so tasty and it was packed with seafood. I normally don't finish my entire plate and I left not even one noodle on my plate.
